Hi everybody,
is there any way to install "My Magazine" like on Samsung Note 3 Stock firmware on my Note 3 with Cyanogenmod 11 latest nightly (4.4.2)?
I found this thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2487777 but i can't run this apks..
I could install them but if i start my magazine it always "stops running" (crash).
i have installed:
- Lounge.apk
- Flipboard.apk
- MagazineHome.apk
I don't use Touchwiz theme. (i have to?)
I cleaned the catch in recovery mode too, but without success.
Every help is welcome
Best regards

Your the first person I've seen to actually want to use my magazine[emoji15]. But I think it's built into the framework.

Hello guys i originally bought a 7" pad to use it with the adobe touch apps... however i flashed it with the overcometeam's ROM, now the adobe touch apps are not compatible...
are there any way of making call on android +3 using the phone.apk?
thanks in advanced
You mean the adobe touch app stop working after you flash overcome or that you thought you want to use your tab with those apps but found out they are not compatible?
Forget about android 3, (think of windows vista) go for 4 (ics).
You are already on overcome so just download aokp or cm9, and gapps on sdcard
And boot to recovery and flash them.
They support making calls.

Any free trial version I can try?
I am on aokp.
What do you mean you can't find?
go to the development forum and you see threads on aokp build #36,
And cm9 by TE4M.

My suggestion, try AOKP. Almost bug free for me.
Im new to this :s dont know a lot ! Basically i have to upgrade my tab
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA
my suggestion:
- go to AOKP link I gave you
- read the first 3 posts
- download current build #36
- download latest gapps-ics
- put both on sdcard
- reboot to cwm recovery (since you are already on overcome)
- do all the wipes
- flash from sd card: choose the aokp zip file and flash
- flash from sd card: choose gapps
- reboot!
You should be seeing the boot up with Cyanogenmod logo and then the pink unicorn. Play a bit, then read the first 3 posts on AOKP again, it will start to make more sense.
Will try it and post back

So far I like it! But I think I will have to upgrade to use adobe touch apps :'(

AOKP build #36 but camera doesn't work?
This is a first.
Try wipe and reflash again.
Anyone have the S note APK from the note 2? Or would it work with the note 3? I saw that it was able to solve integrals and I would like to have that feature on my phone.

I don't have it but you could probably grab it from a note 2 rom.

Can someone please get this working on Note 3?
Hello,
Anyone has successful experience to have workable older snote (note2 revison) on NOTE3 ? I have tried the snote apk ported from note2 and installed on note3, but always got persistent SNOTE error after NOTE3 phone starting. Since I have another NOTE2 and NOTE10.1 (2012 editon), which still use old snote revision, and not compatible to NOTE3 (or need complex way to transfer file format), I expect NOTE3 have workable old snote apk.
Thanks all.

...for us like noobs the option to choose which apps to be remove is critical and so with the libs.
...does this tool have option for one time flashed and remove whatever unneccessary bloat apps ?
...a default selection by experts

Is that contactprovider.apk ?
Logs provider- used for displaying call logs
Package access helper- used for installing apps (but I don't have any problem installing apps after removing it)

I wanted to ask this question in the ROM's thread, but I don't have enough posts I guess. So posting here. I tried upgrading my Note 3 to 4.4.2 via Safestrap last night and it worked - but only issue I'm having is with the e-mail app. When I add my corporate email account and it tries to push its security settings to the phone (ie. I need to add a pin lock), 'Settings' crashes. I tried it a number of times and 'Settings' crashes each time I try to activate the security.
Anyone else have this issue? Ideas? Otherwise, the kitkat rom was working well.
Thanks.

This one in the Development section:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2584994
While I did a lot rom experimentation w/ my S2 and Note 2, last night was the first time I've messed w/ my Note 3. So that was the first ROM I tried. Now that I know how to get back to stock, I decided to try the KnoxRAID kitkat ROM. No problems w/ the security stuff now.
Still - not sure what the issue was on that one.
Okay, I did my obligatory search of the forums and of Google, but I've come up empty.
Is it possible to install Cyanogenmod 11 Nightlies on our beloved N900A using SafeStrap? I know one person has had reported luck (but I can't find the link, sorry), but they didn't elaborate on jack squat. A yes or no will suffice but an explanation would be nice.
Yours truly,
The Sphere.
AFAIK, we can't install AOSP ROMS on our version of the note 3 because at&t locked the boot loader. So, no, it wouldn't work for our variant.
