Am I the only one wondering why we don't have a screen shot thread started yet?

what in the world do you need screenshots of?

Every other device has a screen shot thread except the slide..
Why in the world did you think it was a bad thing...just a suggestion.

maybe in the future when theres more roms and themes but as of right now with the limited roms and really no themes i dont think we need one.
just my 2 cents

its not just about the roms..its about how ppl set up there screens with wallpapers and different widgets and stuff...just show it off

I agree. There are not many ROM's or Themes.. but there are different ways to go in and customize different parts by going into the framework and such. Even different wigets.. for some people this might be their first android phone so they're not sure of all the different ways to customize their phone..

I like things pretty simple. I only ever use one screen.

you should change the topic to: "A dozen of my Android Wallpapers (960x800)". that's the right resolution for android

As for the picture, I found it in Picasa, listed as a seascape, which are my favorite kind of pictures. So if you took it originally, then double thanks are due!!!

Can anybody add to this?
They are not to size (bigger) but you can always resize when you set them as wallpaper.
Also not sure if I over step some piracy laws but if I do I will take em off

It's perfectly fine by me But those pictures will distort once applied, first because they are smaller than the actual WP size and in the case of the second picture because I don't think it its dimensions are even in the right proportion... but the more the merrier, feel free to post away!

It's the taskbar from the CoreDroid DHD rom for the HTC HD2, which is the ROM I use everyday

[Wallpaper] XDA Developers wallpaper from XDA TV

Hi there,
After watching another episode of XDA TV I wondered if I could create a wallpaper from a still from the video. All I did was add some blur, recognize the font and retype the text, but as I was very pleased with the result I'm happy to share it.
PS: I'm not sure whether the wallpaper has been uploaded before by the original creator, but if so please remove this thread.

Looks good, a vertical version would be nice but you'd probably need the original assets to make a decent one.

That's true. But if you mean a 480x800 wallpaper, you can try to crop the wallpaper showing only 'XDA'. That's what I did for my HTC Touch HD...

How do you install this zip file? I tried renaming it to mtz but its telling me its missing resources or something like that.

My friend, @Xicor Yagami , showed me the leaked photos of the Nexus 7 2nd version a few hours ago and like him, I also liked the wallpaper very much.

Although I do not know whether its a Simple Wallpaper or a Live Wallpaper, I decided to make a simple one and kind of cloned the wallpaper.
I made it in several sizes. So you can download the one matching your device the closest.
1920x1280 px
720x1280 px

240x320 px

@EatHeat these are fantastic although I expect the shadows on the left and right in the original screenshot are because of the fact the android launcher applies a shadow to the wallpaper rather than a shadow being part of the wallpaper image itself... If that makes any sense whatsoever :silly: anyway I'm just nitpicking, thanks for these

That thought completely escaped me. Thanks for pointing it out. I will upload the shadowless wallpaper after school today as well as the psd file so anyone can play with it.
