Im using a variant rom with the Verizon lg g2 and cannot get isis to work. Suspecting something in the build.prop.

Hello ya'll. I just wanted to learn that is there any difference between the models D955, D958 and F340? Any errors with a model? I'm going to buy one, so I'd like to learn every information I can get. Thanx in advance.

So as I say then. Ok, this is not the issue. I wanted to know is there any difference between them.

Bootloader Unlock (?)

Unfortunately this doesn't unlock the bootloader. Ran fastboot getvar oem and the bootloader should say unlocked yes... Sorry guys. Guys over at g3 thread says its not really an unlock too

What is it thats working? Im interested in finding new things to do with my phone ,and you have to same model i do, great phone right? So what is it that we're doing or installing?

Oh my...this is an old topic... Unlocking the bootloader enables rooting, the ability to install TWRP and custom ROMs.
Unfortunately, I don't own this device anymore....
