I have had the same problem on the 4.x RUU files. Seems like you are trying to downgrade. As your phone is S-OFF, Use 3.x.1540 RUU file. However Changed your MID/CID to BS_US001/PN712000 for US Dev edition.

Follow the OP's guide of updating firmware to 2.24.401.1(On 1st post)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182823
Also, you need matching CID(HTC__001, HTC__Y13 etc) and MID(PN0710000)
In order to change your cid: fastboot oem wirtecid HTC_001(any of the compatible CID)
And change ur mid: fastboot oem writemid PN0710000 or follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2322820

I only seem to find information about 1.57 for the HTC One V. Does anyone have knowledge of this for the HTC One?
I had a HTC One on 1.55 which was faulty, UNLOCKED and S-OFF, I used the guide here to return it to stock LOCKED S-ON. I sent it back to O2 for a warranty replacement and received this replacement. I want to know if I will be able to S-OFF this as I would like to retain the warranty if I need it again:

So would I be able to S-OFF my current 1.57 using existing tools and then flash this? I basically want to be able to return it to stock if needs be and if I unlock the bootloader it will show tampered unless I have the ability to S-OFF it.

Ive just uploaded my Vodafone TWRP backup, ive noticed lately a lot of people having problems with their Vodafone devices and this will help you get back to stock, Ive also included in the zip file the version of TWRP recovery used to create it, the backup is version 4.19.161.11 it stopped here as Vodafone are too slow to release updates, I got S-OFF and changed to dev edition, however it should update as it came with HBOOT 1.56, I think the next update after it came with 1.57, you will just need stock recovery first, but regardless, it should help someone out get back to stock or maybe someone can make an updated stock rom reset out of it.

Can you post a
Code:
fastboot getvar all
please remove imei and serial numbers before posting.
But yes you should always flash an ruu before you go back to s-on. If you had gone s-on with modified firmware you phone would be bricked :good:
