[Q] Updating Sense6 Toolbox - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I currently have sense 6 toolbox v1.1. Can I update my sense 6 toolbox from xposed installer without harming my system? My ROM is ARHD 70.0 w/ ElementalX 14.7. Sense 6 toolbox v1.2 was just released yesterday.

[Q] ARHD 20.0 with ElementalX 4.2

Hi, I have a htc one and I'm looking to install ARHD 20.0 with ElementalX 4.2 kernel. I'm wondering if ARHD 20.0 will work with ElementalX 4.2 kernel since they are both android 4.3 based but the thread on ElementalX 4.2 does say it's for GPE 4.3 only and ARHD 20.0 is sense 4.3. I just want to know if a kernel like the ElementalX 4.2 will work with sense 4.3 rom
Thanks

No, 4.2 is for GPe 4.3, not Sense. Flar (nor anyone) has not built a 4.3 kernel for Sense yet

My advice, I would stay away from any custom kernel for the time being. Sense 6 for the M7 is a port and Sense 6 isn't official yet. Though there are many users on custom kernels in the International and AT&T forums, most of these users are using the stock kernel that came with the new base. If you really need to use a custom kernel, I feel that a kernel for the 4.4.2, Sense 5.5 base would be a strong alternative. As far as I know, there isn't a fully working Sense 6 kernel at this time. Good luck with your search and choice.

[Q] phone is strange [root does not install]

Hey all
So basically I'm on revolution kit kat stock ROM and I have twrp recovery therefore root worked well
REGARDLESS to the fact that I can't use supersu to give permissions in my native non-english language
It worked well
Later on, 2 weeks later, phone got crazy it acts like if I'm not rooted at all
When I restart it works but a minute later root dies
What wrong with it??

Custom Rom or Stock + kernel + Xposed & module ?

Hi,
What is the best solution for the M7 : flashing a custom rom, or being in stock (an root) with kernel as ElementalX + Xposed with "Sense 6 Toolbox" ?

it really depends on what you want xpsoed and sense 6 toolbox give you tons customization but some custom have exclusive features like the insert coin market. I would try both out to see what you like the best.

Sense 6 Android 5.0.2 - ElementalX-m7-19.5-Sense
Google Play Edition Android 5.0.1 - ElementalX-m7-19.3-GPE
Since you said you are on a Sense based ROM, running android 5.0.2, then you would want version 19.5, if you were running a Google Play Edition ROM like I am, then you would want version 19.3. You also need to flash this from a custom recovery.. Hopefully you are running TWRP 2.6.5.0 (the latest version).
