This is not for P990,but I think you can use this with swapping only kernel (or boot.img).
Because of I can use p990 rom onto su660 with this way.
Just one more word, p990's int sd partition number is 9. but su660's is 10.

My phone is Hong Kong Ox2. How do I install this Kernel without bricking my phone? It's rooted. Can I flash using CWM? Also, why can't I just update normally? Its says my phone is already updated. Whats wrong?

Kernel can be flashed through CWM. For Hong Kong the latest is v20d maybe that's why you can't update further.
You can, however, update using smartflash or flash KDZ files using the LG update tool. The latter doesn't wipe your device but both unroots and deletes CWM.

I am kind of confused, right now i have my phone flashed with build version 10.3.1.a.0.244 which is the generic one from Germany, everything is working fine with my tmobile c6606 us version, the android version after the flash is 4.2.2
my question is which custom rom can i use with this version i have installed ( it must be one for locked bootloaders)
the ones i have found do not say anything about build number 10.3.1.a.0.244

Because nearly every stock based ROM is based on latest .67 firmware.

I have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (N920W8 Variant) running Android 5.1.1 from Rogers in Vancouver BC, but unlike other Samsung Phones I have bought in the past, German Language is not available. The selections are limited to English, French, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), and Korean. After rooting the phone and installing Language Enabler and force-setting the locale, only half of the menus and apps are in German. I am looking for a compatible ROM that I can flash onto my phone.
Can anyone with the same Note 5 Model / N920W8 model on a different provider i.e. Telus/Bell etc.. do a quick check to see whether German language is enabled on their firmware?
Does the Infinity Rom 6.0.1 have German Language option available?

For your version is marshmallow available flash with odin stock firmware..after this flash latest super su and twrp...for me Dr ketan rom is most stable...but you are able to flash any international rom with audio call fix for n920w8 ...look on t-mobile thread and there are all the things you need...i am on international rom on n920w8 for a long time...

I tried downloading and installing N920T_OH6_DrKetan_custom_ROM_L2.zip and flashed using TWRP and most features seems to be working except:
1) Finger Print Reader Error - tried restarting no avail.
2) WiFi-Calling Error ER05 - Invalid SIM (T-Mobile Customisation)
3) TMobile Logo on startup/shutdown - anyway to remove this?

Figured it out, went with the I n f i n i t y F3 ROM based on Android v6.0.1 Instead & Posted detailed instructions there (Page 21) for any one else interested.
My device is showing 1.21 the latest version and no further updates but when i check the website it's showing 2.12 the latest for asia(im from india). I wanna root my device on the same rom im using and need boot.img too. Please advise
