Dotview case broke with xposed framework? - One (M8) Accessories

Not sure if I should post in this section but no matter. I recently got my dotview case and it was working great, however after installing the latest version of xposed framework, it seems to have broken all functionality. The screen won't show dotview with touch and pressing the power button while the case is closed will show the dotview indefinitely.
Just wondering if anyone else had the same issue. Also of note, this happens even without any modules installed.
Thanks in advance,
Matt

Not having those issues with Xposed 2.6, perhaps it is one of the modules you are actually using with it?

I disabled all modules, I'll try uninstalling them and starting from scratch.

Black screen after Xposed update

Can anyone help me out on this black screen I'm getting now after updating Xposed to 2.6/2.6.1

Does this happen with all modules disabled? If not, find out which module is causing this and ask for help in its support thread.
EDIT: if you can't access the Xposed Installer, check the FAQ for info on how to temporarily disable all modules or the framework.
Yeah, I disabled all of them. I also tried reinstalling the rom, it happen after I installed the 2.6 update from Xposed. I'm not really sure what else to do.

Just to make sure Xposed is causing this, does this still happen if your uninstall the framework?
I'm not 100% sure on that but I am a little nervous about uninstalling it, the last time I did that I had to wipe my phone and it was a pain. I'm working off of a Mac so I'm limited on what I can do. I do k ow that I have not added anything since I was on Xposed 2.5

i can confirm its Xposed (v2.6.1) causing the problem as my friend using HTC One X is also having screen problem (the entire screen is fuzz) (Xposed v2.5 is working fine for him until he updated to v2.6.1)
after uninstalling the framework (not the app) the screen is working fine again
will try to take a picture of it soon
xposed v2.6.1 working fine on moto x

reboot your phone... while its booting, spam press Power / Volume button when you see the splash logo, it should vibrate twice. if it doesnt vibrate twice, reboot and try again.
if your phone did vibrate twice, continue spamming until a long vibrate, it means Xposed is disabled.
if your phone vibrates when pressing the buttons, its disabling Xposed Framework.
if your phone is not vibrating, reboot and try again.

Looks really strange. I understood that you already tested that this even happens without any modules, but not if you downgrade or uninstall the framework. Correct?
Could you please try if the "disable resources API" setting in the installer makes any difference?

Texting Problems After Activating XPosed?

I just rooted my phone with Towelroot (all hail Geohot) and installed the XPosed framework. Everything seemed to work fine until I activated the first couple modules (Rootcloak and Wanam) and then texts stopped sending from my phone. Worked fine after just rooting and fine once i disabled the modules, so it's probably something having to do with the installed modules.
Anyone else run into this issue?

i have both of those modules on my phone and texting is working fine. i know this doesnt help your particular phone, just wanted to say that those together do work with no texting problems.
Had a similar issue yesterday with mms. Thought it was xposed but it turned out to be Adblock blocking port 80.

Interesting, I'll disable adblock and see if that helps.
Any way to keep ab from blocking that port?

You were absolutely right, that did it.
Glad to see it, I wanted Wanam and Root Cloak more than ab

Did you use xposed, or did you do any modifications. I haven't found a post yet where the phone was broke after towel root, where towel root itself broke the phone.
Agree. There's no reason the root itself would cause this. Give us some more info so we can help you better. MMS can be finicky anyway on this phone. I've had some message delay issues (which are mms), but I've found a restart helps stuff come and go faster.

I've noticed pretty much every one of the "my phone's not acting right after towel root" in some way has xposed involved.

There is a reason for this. It is the network not the phone. Picture messaging is not sent through as normal data on the default text app it has to go through the towers.

I've found that mms doesn't work when using adblock plus. If you're using that, delete it and switch to Adaway. Fixed the problems I was having with mms messages.
DI'm having this same issue. A reboot causes a pending one to download but can't sent out. Uninstalled add block plus and still have issue. I did install add away
For clarification. I installed and successfully ran towellroot. Installed xposed and then the xposed framework. Installed wanam xposed. Changed a few things in the notification bar like battery. Put symbols back into keyboard.
Strange it worked for a few days just perfectly fine... now it does not work.
That's all I've done.

Since you're rooted, maybe you should do a full backup in TiBu, wipe clean, and restore. It might fix whatever broke.

I think I may have got it working last night. Adblock Plus did not an uninstall the first time I did it properly so it over wrote the settings again no I didn't know it. After a couple reboots with adAway install it seems to be now working

ATT Note 3 Stock, Rooted with towel, Xposed install?

hi,
hopefully someone gives some light on this question. I heard that installing xposed framework (on rooted Stock) cuasing wifi stop working, and some other issues...I dont know where I read it, but please let me know if installing xposed is all good.
I have my note 3 rooted and have Xposed installed for two weeks now; haven't seen any issues so far, no wifi issues or anything. Running awesome.

Any source on where you heard that?
I've not had Xposed cause any problems with any features of the phone.
Perhaps whoever brought up the problem had troubles caused by a certain module?
Xposed itself works just fine though.

Xposed framework killing disney app?

I just out of sheer randomness realized that with xposed framework installed on my nexus 7, that my daughters Disney junior app refuses to connect. Has anyone else seen anything like this where xposed prevents another app from functioning? If xposed is uninstalled, functionality returns.

xposed breaks lots of random things in random ways..
Thanks. Is there anyway to see why it's occuring? I'm not familiar with any apps that give you insight to calls to files that are being made.
