Hi,
I saw a strange behavior of some apps (Text Editor, Flashcards deluxe lite) in input fields after install this Custom ROM on Razr I:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2174731&highlight=xprivacy
(I am not allowed to post there directly)
Description:
In an empty input field I put in: 1 Enter 2 Enter 3 Enter
(See picture 1)
Then I put the cursor behind number 1 in the first line and press: Enter 4 Enter 5 Enter 6 Enter.
(See picture 2): The numbers 2 and 3 are overwritten!
I save the file and open it again (see picture 3)
The developer of "Flashcards deluxe lite" wrote me, that he use the Android control TextEdit for user inputs.
I look for an other app with this behavior and found "Text Editor". There are a lot of apps without this issue (Jota, ColorNote...).
Is it possible, that something is wrong with the Android control TextEdit in Jelly Bean or my installed Custom ROM?
Have you any ideas what cause this problem or what can I try?
Thanks a lot
Maskel

Bug in Android Jellybean
It seems a bug in Android Jelly bean.
The developer has found this post:
code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=38770
Disabling hardware-acceleration seems to fix this problem.
Maybe a developer of a custom ROM can fix it, too?

Is there any way to increase the number of pages the HTC camera will display when in the "Picture Theme" mode?
I have recently found many new picture themes; however, the current HTC camera software will only list 3 pages of themes (6 gifs each page) maximum, despite having more than 18 theme pictures in the template directory. I am able to access additional theme pictures by clicking on the selection icon; however, this is slow and tedious as you must display each theme picture before accessing the next one.
camera templates
Yes there is, go to this link http://xda-v.6te.net/Index.html and get the new templates

Thanks for the reply, but I already have the "GIF theme pictures" or "templates", and yes that site is a great place to download such theme pictures. However, if I select the "Capture Settings" menu and then the "Template" menu in Camera mode, I can only scroll down 3 screens or a total of 18 templates, despite having 30+ templates in the directory.
If no one else has this problem, then it may be specific to my ROM, but I am hoping there is a registry change I can make to change this.

i'd like to know the answer to this too, i have a touch pro, and i can only select 16 from the menu, or 32 from the manual "press press press" method. the ones they pick are random also.
anyone know where we can find more templates
Ok, in camera mood and with theme selected I enter the settings menu then advanced, here it will display the chose frame option and it will display all your themes 3 by 3 in each page by name, hope that helps.

By default the number of shortcuts is 18. It only shows 9 but you can scroll up to see the other 9.
Only this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=482763
You dont increase the number of programs in program tab, you ad another brogram tab with unlimited number of programs. (If you dont want to have 2 program tabs you can always hide the original). But to add or remove programs you have to do it with notepad from an xml file. I have both of them. Look the photo
I have another problem with the program tab :-(!
I fill the 18 tabs with my favorite programs but then i got on the screen more than 18 tabs. The new tabs I cannot use for more programs, they only are there without a function.
How can I delete these (now maybe 5 more) tabs???
Thx!
If you had read the link i gave, you would see this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3555764&postcount=25 which describe how to solve this...
I noticed a strange problem.
Inside text editing application that do not warp lines (Orneta Notepad Mobile and any other notepad style application I tried) text selection (with stylus tap and drag) only works when lines a short and orizontal scroll bar is missing or disabled. When lines are longer and orizontal scroll bar appears text selection is no more possible.
Does anyother noticed this problem?
Any solution?
Selecting text works not so fine anymore.
When I hold the syles on the screen sometimes it works, but not oke.
Or when I hit with the styles on a word he selected that word.
With me other WM phones (HTC to) it was possible selecting, copy, paste in most places. It was very simple te select a pease of tekst.
Does HTC running a app that has a conflict with the WM selecting option?
I have searching registry if there is maybe a key to change.
I don't like the slecting way on the Diamond2.
I hope someone find out what the problem can be.

True.
KraFT
I found a partial solution: there is a way to make a list of applications that should be ignored by TouchFlo. Inside these applications scroll by tap and drag stop working but text selection does work.
Find the registry key HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\TFLOIgnoreAPPs
For any application that you want TouchFlo ignore create a string value and assign to it the name of the application .exe file (important: the value seems to be case sensitive)
For example in my case for Orneta Notepad Mobile
HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\TFLOIgnoreAPPs\IgnoreAppNP = "NOTEPAD.exe"
Thanks, it works.
I have now add strings with poutlook.exe, PIMConnectivity.exe, Notepad.exe and Explorer.exe (resco) .
In those apps it works now fine.

I guess I was sort of hoping the LDPI phones have gone the way of the dinosaur. ;-) Was also thinking maybe Ultra is a little too heavy weight for lower-spec'd phones.
I'll definitely look into this. The medium DPI images should be scaled down on-the-fly on LDPI devices, but I think keeping Android 1.5 (Cupcake) support broke this.
I like to use forever !!!!! Link ?
Looks like a nice app

Hi, got the Trial from the market...
Where can I change the Dictionary? Or is it disabled in the trial? I found Settings-Gestures-Dictionaries but it only offers me English.
And btw: can I migrate my old HTC personal Dictionary to the german one?
like this.
Updated to 6.2b.

I enter CIT mode on Redmi K20 (Stock ROM, 12) by tapping kernel version five times I can also tap three dots to open additional menu. One option has some connection tests with built-in wi-fi sniffer which is very weird because I never seen it on stock roms or anywhere else. Second option has some odd Chinese characters and when I tap on it, it gives me test results with some numbers and N letters. I have no idea what all it means. Any ideas why it isn't translated or why stock ROM has WiFi sniffer? Thanks for replies.. files are attached

You can enter the same menu by 'dialing' *#*#miui#*#*, ie *#*#6484#*#*
I compared on two phones, and on the newer, with MIUI 13 that second menu is translated to History Test Results (screenshot)
Also, WiFi Sniffer test has an additional option/checkmark Circularly capture
