lenovo k4 note [Marshmallow] [Android 6.0] [S232][OTA]

Here are the OTA links of Marshmallow updates for Lenovo k4 note (3gb RAM). To update your phone to Marshmallow ,the minimum requirement is that you should be on S152 update ,which is the last update for lollipop..
Warning:
you must flash these updates using recovery in proper order ( S214>S217>S218>S219>S230>S232)

yes considering the number of threads being created and updated each day. It's difficult to follow up. 1 lakh+ k4 users deserves a dedicated section.

Lenovo k4 note [S205] Review
Pros :
1) Applock added in settings
2) Microscreen option is added
And else everything is same as S203
Bugs:
1) Data connection turns on automatically after every reboot or simple start up.
2) Fingerprints not working in new applock option
3) Reboot sometimes doesn't work..

For some reason incremental update failed for me form s203 to s204. Downloading the full s152 to s205 update now. Let's see how it goes.
Btw, anyone rooted this firmware?

Can someone tell me how to update from S202 to S204/5? I do not want to download 1.5 GB update.

I unlocked bootloader but can't root via Kingroot 360 root

Bug fixes in S205 update
1) Fingerprint in applock will start working after two or three factory resests.. but must do factory reset through recovery.. their is clear data option in recovery instead of factory reset.. so use that clear data option..
2) Reboot is also working fine after this reset process
3) For data connection automatically turning on issue ,their is no permanent solution but you can turn on airplane mode just before you reboot or shutdown your phone..

And one more thing ,, I updated my phone from S152 to S205 directly.. so i used the original English language recovery to reset my phone..
To reset through recovery follow these steps:
After installing update of S205 from S152 .. when installing completes don't click reboot button.. just press back button and do clear data two times and then reboot.. i this way my fingerprint starts working in applock..
Beware through reset you will loose all your data in internal storage.. so must copy your important data before reset..

u can try hani rom or erobot rom
just flash modem and bootlaoder for N910U after flashing and obviously kernel too
dont forget to check suemax kernel thread for flashing noise fix for N910U

yeah the only ones who should have gotten this first are the ones who went without a note 5. European N910F is still waiting. Then again, this waiting and seeing others get firmware updates is the reason Samsung is losing its core fans

Doing some googling and I'm getting a bit confused. I'm looking to install MIUI7 rom on my n910g however it's not available for the n910g but it is available for the n910u/c/s/k/l/h variants. Anyone know if I can install n910u over n910g so I can then install MIUI7?

nd with odin u can install 6.0.1

You can be back to 5.1.1 if you do not like 6.0.1 My backup ?, I have my rom, you should check if the backup titamium works. Someone has installed?

Can I use this on official cm14.1 n other ROMs... I have unofficial unlocked bootloader...n I'm using a modified firmware of 12/05 i guess which don't have emmc_appsboot file...so is this also the same with removed emmc_appsboot?

I believe the issue is you actually zipped a folder of the rom and the contents are inside, try zipping just the contents of that folder and see

It's a matter of time before we get official, every LG G* has had official TWRP and roms

LG G6 open sources contains f2fs tools, did you enabled f2fs in twrp? Maybe data is formatted with this fs. Just assumptions

It is really not fair what LG doing . i sold my p10 plus and bought g6 hoping that i will be able to flash custom ROMs . but just European variants are allowed to unlocl bootloader . that means i have to sell my g6 and and buy htc u11 or pixel xl . its really sad
