Most ads say "does not fit verizon" but the thickness on at the edges isnt THAT different right?
I like this design as i need Corner drop protection the most.
Anyone tried one of these on the vs980 yet?
thanks.

Yes I did. It does fit although not as good as on the other phones. The lip around the screen that is supposed to protect it when face down isn't really there. (Which I actually like bc I use edge gestures. The port holes also don't line up perfectly but are usable. If you don't mind paying a little more there is an aluminum one available that fits very snugly with some force. When I got it it was only $9 now they are 15-20. Paired with a carbon fiber skin makes for a pretty badass looking device. http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=321405616284

Don't buy this bumper. The rubber starts to peel off in a couple of weeks and in a couple of months you're left just with plastic frame. The rubber is just glued to plastic, so that's the reason why it doesn't hold there strong.
Btw, all chineese delete bad reviews from their sites. I've bought some faulty\bad quality things (including this bumper) from DealExteme and SunSky-Online and all my reviews despite being well-written with cons and pros were never published.

You're right.... Poor quality after couple of week

Belkin Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 folio case

Just sold my Xoom so I have some extra cash and went over to best buy to find a case. This was steep at $40 but I wasn't into the kindle fire cases as they all use straps that end up blocking buttons/ports. Its not a perfect fit but it works for lack of something better.

Thanks for the pics. mine should be here shortly. Looks like it works well enough and better than the one I'm using now.
I figure when they start making decent cases for the Nexus 7, I'll cannibalize this. I'm thinking about ripping out the mount bracket thats attached to the folio part and fashioning some kind of car mount with it. Hmm..
Just arrived, wish the corners came up over the bezel just a hair further, but I turned it upside down over the bed and gave it a couple shakes, didn't go anywhere. If it had a magnet in it for a "smart" feature and the corners came up a bit more it would be excellent, as it is it's still a really nice option. Much slimmer than the navitech case I was using.

Yeah it looks like it might fall out because they don't quite get over the top of the corners, but it seems to work well.

covers that dont surround the bezel

So I recently ordered a supcase on Amazon and while I like the way it protects my nexus overall, I can't stand how difficulty it is to swipe down my notification panel or press the soft keys because it covers the bezel. Do any users have any experienced with any cases around the same price that don't happen to cover the bezel?

I didn't search for a better price, but this design is the best on the market for any tablet I've used. They're all the same with a different name punched into the cover, except there's one variation that has a hand strap. Get this. If you search, you can probably find it for about $5-10.
I have that one with a hand strap, moko is punched in the front.
I really like feels good, device feels secure in the holders. Slim and sexy.

After owning 5-6 different cases, the link below contains the absolute best one I've ever used. It's a little pricey (35 bucks), but hop on the chat and ask if they have any coupon codes. They gave me one when I ordered, which surprised me. Only shaved off 3-4 bucks, but it's better than nothing.
At any rate, it's the best one I've used. Very secure, well designed, nice quality.

Noreve make the best cases. Pricey though.

I'm happy with this one. The hand strap is useful to tuck your usb-otg drive into so its not flopping around.

Thanks for the response guys.

Metal-Slim Sandy Case

Picked up this case today.
Feels great and fits well. The sandy finish really helps with the grip. Plus this kind of red is hard to come by, a kind of dull red that even guys can use. Looks great on my gray note.

Can you post some pics on your device. I have the white one and I'm doubting it is going to look as nice.

Sure! Here you go.

Does the case offer any front protection? Does it have raised front corners or sides? I'm thinking that the screen is the most vulnerable area on the phone, and therefore needs some format of protection.

Hows the signal/wifi etc like?
I'm using this case but black in color.. feels a lot like Rock Quicksand hard casing. Doesn't affect signal/wifi at all in my opinion..maybe cause it's not made of metal?
Agree. Signal is not affected at all. It's made of some sort of plastic or resin or whatnot. I really like the feel of the case. It feels like a very fine sandpaper or what not.

Bear motion folio case review (Black)

I got this case because I needed some protection for my note 2 and nothing was available locally .
I was just looking for something cheap and multifunctional .
For $11.99 I really was not expecting much but it turned out better than I expected. It works well protecting the phone , (my wife dropped hers with no damage ) and it does not make it hard to slip into my pocket .
It really shines when folded into a stand which really comes in handy .
The feau leather material is nice enogh and also comes with storage for license, credit cards etc.
The only negative is I have to take it off if I am using the Samsung media dock .
But for the price it is a nice item to have for sure

Got the same one . I like it especially because I can put my cards and ID in there along with some cash. Also, the price is decent.

SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Full-Body Hybrid w/ Build-in Screen Protector

I just bought this off Amazon and installed it on my phone yesterday. The build quality is excellent and the cut out is spot on. The case came with a build in screen protector. It also came with 2 extra power button for replacement. Although the volume is part of the case but i have no issue pressing it.

Would you recommend this for someone using it at a construction site? And what would you consider the drop protection to be from what you see?

This case is not as good as everyone says if you want quality go with a defender or shocks it. I returned this case after I physically held it

For the price. I think is pretty good. I agree it can't compare to ottobox product. It is just user preferences. Thanks
