Is anyone else finding that their phone will not connect to LTE?
I did *#*#4636#*#* and tried to change it from WCDMA Preferred, but it does not allow me to do so.

Mine is set to lte/GSM auto and will connect to 4G lte when I am in a city with it. Montana has only a few cities with lte and mine is surprisingly not one of them.
Sent from my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5.
It happened to be a bad SIM card. I went into AT&T and they put in a new one. LTE popped right up. Problem solved.

I have a question. My tab refuses to get 3g or hsdpa. It does just fine it ottawa where I am from but doesn't in other places. I would just chalk it up to the network but both of my captivates get 3g and hsdpa in the same area. In the process of trying as many modems as I can now.
Any explanations would be appreciated.
Running the l latest overcome.

You have to have a T-mobile sim and tab, or at&t sim and tab. If you mix them you can only get voice and EDGE data.
Like the title says. T mobile tab flashed over to euro rom to allow phone access.
I put my att sim in and it says att in the notification bar says att but i get little to no service. If it does get edge it dissapears a second later. Could this possibly be because of a bad unlock if that exists.
A side note. I am using a new 4g att sim in the tab would that make a difference

You did not mention if you checked the APN settings. I am not sure if the TMOUS AWS band is the problem on ATT.
Sorry, yes i did check the apn settings. But would the tab still show att if it wasnt unlocked. Maybe my unlock didnt take.

And just to add some info. When i first put my sim in it took a while to get service then it started to junp around frequencies. Edge then gprs then hsdpa and now nothing

You do relize that Edge speeds will probably be all you get for data FYI.

You will not get 3G since att 3G operates at a different frequency than tmobile. However you should be getting edge.
I am having the exact same problem with the unlock ? How did u get it to work exactly
I have a sim provisioned for a tablet that I've always used in phones for a second data-only device. The Note 3 seemed perfect for this. However, when I go in to add the "broadband" apn it will not saved. I can put anything else in apn field and it will save but not broadband. Anyone ever seen anything like this and know any roms that would work?

You went to mobile networks and tried to set up your APN there?

There is way to do that, even punching in numbers if it works at all, which
won't, would not do it, at best it would only TEST your LTE band to make
sure it's receiving the signal properly.
Good luck!

I would go for lte/gsm/auto or wcdma/gsm auto
This way you always have chance for fallback to gsm when needed

You can do it in your apn.

Can someone on Verizon please check what they are using for their LTE band priority? I changed the band priority and forgot to write down the original numbers and am now stuck on 3G.
Thanks

How did you change band priority?

I opened up my dialer and dialed *#*#data#*#* and clicked on LTE, clicked edit, entered 000000 for the code and then changed the bands.
