Official 4.3 VS Unofficial 4.4?

Allright, I've been using Kitkat 4.4.2 for a while now, and it seems like 4.4.2 is slower in applications than 4.3? And also, 4.3 gives me better stats in quadrant than 4.4.2, Why is that? And finally, could someone link me the thread which had everything to get my warranty back. Thanks for help in advance!

You can't, once you have the new bootloader you are stuck with it...

hi every body i have note3 from at&t its N900A with 4.4.2
is there is any way to downgrade it to 4.3 to root my phone ?
and if there is any way to root my phone with 4.4.2 kitkat please tell me i just want to root it

This should restore and not trip knox. I had 4.4.2 and wanted to switch back.

Just make sure to follow the steps exactly, and you'll have 4.3 again.

You have to have the device plugged in.

graydiggy thanks for reply i am try with windows 7 and its OK i am install driver but its not flash the ROM its stop like in the photo
so what is the problem ?

Go to the utilities tab and select detect device.

finally i am do it its done and my phone come back to 4.3 thanks for all and special thanks for evilpotatoman for this beautiful subject

Can someone create an Odin version of the new 4.4?

I'm on the leaked 4.4 and I see people are having problems not being able to update. If there was an Odin version, would that work?

try samsung at bestbuy to see if they have the new fw yet. they maybe able to help you guys to update

Try it WITHOUT rooting after. Bet most of them have downgraded and then rooted expecting it to work

nope didnt root still failed

Downgraded and didn't root never had my device rooted and still fails.

It's because AFAIK it's not pure MJ5 but it's modified. We never had MJ5 build on Kies or Sammobile.

thats what i am thinking too i seem to remember someone saying the ml9 img was hex edited to get root with the method in that thread

I restored to mj5 and then did Ota update to another version which worked fine and then it tried to do an Ota update to 4.4.2 and fails. Thinking of trying emergency firmware restore via kies and see if that works.

It won't. Kies only has MI9. It will fail because of different flash count in aboot trust me.

That won't work either I actually have the download file and tried to install it via stock recovery and it didn't work. Fails as well.

if you are trying to root it ioroot does not work yet.. we have to wait unless you downgrade

I think it depends on what version you have. I have the sprint version (LS995) and was able to root using IOroot25 on kitkat.
