Phone keep switching between active call & on-hold call? Anyone else? Possible fix? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Phone keep switching between active call & on-hold call? Anyone else? Possible fix?
I have had this problem since I had the phone, I thought with Sense 6 it could be solved somehow. The proximity sensor works just fine, but when I'm having an active call and one on-hold the phone keep switching between the two calls and I find myself talking to the other person and both callers become the wrong person hearing the wrong things.
Anyone else having the same problem? Any possible fix -other than using a headset?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] HTC One Speakerphone Problem!

Hi guys I'm on my second new HTC One handset since the 19th March and I'm beginning to lose hope! During a call if I use my speakerphone the person on the other end of the line experiences a loud, intermittent, feedback/interference noise. This only happens when I'm on speakerphone. Phones4u who I got the phone off advised me to do a hard reset which I did having no effect. They've replaced the phone with a brand new handset which I've received today but it has the same problem as the first. I've called HTC tech support and the guy basically said to send it back to Phones4u and if the 3rd phone has the same issue to call them back and they'd report it to their seniors. Is there anything I can do? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
I had a very similar problem with the static type noise when on calls but mine was heard through the normal earpiece not when on loud speaker. On my second device now and still seem to get it now an then but not every call. I'm on 3 in the UK, don't know if it's something to do with the network?

I don't think it's the network, I'm on Orange and have never had an issue like this before, it's as if the phone is picking up signal interference. I've only heard of one other person with the same issue as me.
UPDATE- I have tried a few calls on speakerphone whilst using the supplied headphones and so far haven't had the same interference issue occurring. You guys will maybe have more of an idea as to why using headphones seems to make this problem go away then I do, any ideas? With me being a heavy speakerphone user this whilst not being perfect is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel for me.

[Q] Mic issues, people can't hear me

I'm having an issue where sometimes people cannot hear me on phone calls. It's complete random but does happen 1-2x a day. It's regardless of whether or not I'm on Wi-Fi or carrier data. Or even if I'm dialing or receiving the call. If i disconnect the call and try a second time, it works fine. I've tried searching but the only solutions i found are related to a screen protector blocking the mic (which isn't the issue in my case). Also regardless of whether I'm using the phone, speakerphone, or even Bluetooth, Can anyone help?

You are not alone. I have been having the same issue on my VZW version. Ppl say that my voice cuts in and out. I can't find a solution anywhere. I'm about to flash the stock firmware(I'm still running stock) and see if that does anything.

Problem of an VOIP app

Hello
I am using a paid VOIP service with an app called "Helloway", I have a problem when using this app to call somebody else with Wifi connection, I cannot hear the voice of the opposite side when making phone calls, but the opposite side can hear me very clearly and I do not have the same problem when using a mobile data connection to make calls. I have tested the same app on other phones, but didn't encounter the same problem, could someone help me to find out why I cannot hear the voice from the opposite side?
Thank you!
P.S: I am using InsertCoin 7.0.7 for my M7 device.

Calling doesn't always work

Hi, I've noticed recently that sometimes when I try to call a number, it does not call; instead the dialpad goes blank. This occurs especially trying to dial numbers from Google maps or from contacts. Does anyone know a solution to this?

I have an issue like that, but the dial pad doesn't go blank. the call just sits there in silence and never connects. I have to toggle Airplane mode to fix it.
I have a similar issue! WHen calling someone it says dialing for like 10 seconds. Sometimes i miss calls because when someone calls me it says the netwrk is busy or something like that,
Not sure why this is happening. The only "system" change I've made is installing themes.

Has anyone come across a fix for this?

Yes and unfortunately it is that the 3 or 4 of us have defective phones. We need new ones

Not sure that's the solution. The issue wasn't present since the day I bought the phone.

if i recall, i having this problem on galaxy s5 or note4 edge, cant remember.
when i make a call, i always turn off wifi, it fixed the problem for me.
Did you swap the SIM from your previous phone to this phone without activating the new one? I did this and had issues. I called AT&T, and they said my IMEI from my old phone was showing and not the new one. You might try giving them a call and make sure the IMEI showing on their side is that of your new phone.
I notice that this frequently occurs if I start a call while connected to Wifi and then walk/drive outside the Wifi range. Toggling Airplane mode always fixes it for me.

I have this exact issue and the airplane mode toggle fixes it. I would like to know what is going on , whether my device is defective or if there is a better fix.
Same issue (not connecting calls, not the screen blank issue)

P7 earpiece mute when using calling apps hangouts or whatssapp

Since updating to B852, every time I make or receive calls from hangouts or whatsapp the earpiece is mute and I have to switch to speakerphone. Not sure if it is ROM or app related. Earpiece does work normal when calling using SIM and phone app.
Anyone encountered this?

It is most likely the third party app problem and since regular calling works, it is up to the developers of the app to fix this.
Can anyone confirm this if it is related to app problem?

I also have b852 installed, and I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever, but I'm also not using those apps.
