Looks like your system partition is empty, so you'll have to install a whole rom ,an OTA won't help an empty system

Okay, do you have any rom(eg. ARHD).zip on your phone? If you do, flash that via twrp, and you're done
If you don't, copy a rom to a USB flash drive and connect it to your phone with an OTG Cable, and flash it via twrp
If you don't have an OTG cable, try this to sideload a rom to your internal sd card http://teamw.in/ADBSideload

ok so fastboot is working, as suggested before post a "fastboot getvar all" (remove IMEI and s/n).
If sideload isn't working you can use "adb push", but first thing is to reflash custom recovery just in case it's corrupted.
so download CWM or TWRP (from the threads in xda), then
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash recovery <name of recovery>.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
-> enter RECOVERY
then
adb push <name of rom>.zip /sdcard/ (this will take anywhere between 5 to 15minutes and not show progress, eventually it should come back with "success")
then
install zip in recovery, and choose the <name of rom>.zip and install it.
hi everyone,
i am having a really bad day.
I had incredible s stock 4.0.4 installed, unlocked, s-on, hboot 2.002
I've tried to download the latest 4.4.2 rom i found in the forum, the device showed the update is completed, then the device restarted and froze on HTC screen.
I've tried to install other roms and it didn't work as well, moreover, the device can not be detected by pc without a reason.
I've cleared all caches by the way.. any one can help !
install this Hboot

Since you are telling device is not detected in PC,
I can safely assume that you are not flashing boot.img through fastboot from PC.
If you are S-ON, you need to flash boot.img file of ROM you want to install through fastboot command...
fastboot flash boot boot.img
google it for more info.
And connect your phone, go to fastboot mode and check with command
fastboot devices
your device should be listed in fastboot mode
and if still not detecting by PC, then must be driver issue and it should have nothing to do with phone.

I just reread his post. Then reread yours. And I realized that the other guy's post doesn't really make much sense. I don't know if he is saying if his computer's USB port is broken. If so then use another one. Then I could also read it as His phone's USB port is broken, and in that case, he really is out of luck.

Hey, lt's lot of guess work here and we need to hear from actual victim...
but let me put my basis..
from 1st post, I can assume that he doesn't know of fact that he need to flash boot image through fastboot.
Hence, I believe that he may even doesn't know what if fastboot.
And without any ROM installed, device can only be detected in fastboot.
So, I strongly believe, he need to try to detect device in fastboot mode and very less chances USB is broken.
Now lets wait to hear from OP guy.
in htc sunsation 4ext recovery there is a way to flash boot.img
try it :
1- go to 4ext recovery
2- select Tools
3- the last one is ( enable smart flash)>> click it once then flash ROM
I don't know if our 4ext recovery support this feature or not
yep. because this is development and all that.

Can go between fast boot and the Bootloader menu but if I hit reboot, it just comes back to Bootloader. If I pick recovery it just flashes for a second and comes back to Bootloader. I am S-off btw.

ok so the guide walks me up to the point of installing fastboot for unbuntu using a couple cmd lines but for my specific situation will I need any files saved in specific locations? I have never used Ubuntu or Linux before so youll have to bear with me.
Ok so im in Ubuntu, I think I have the guide pretty much figured out, but It still doesnt want to detect my device. I installed ADB according to the guide, but "sudo fastboot devices" comes up blank and the phone only says "fastboot" not "fastboot usb"
entering the command to flash CWM gives me the same waiting for device message. I have tried multiple USB cables as well.

the phone has to say FASTBOOT USB, otherwise it's a problem with the port (phone/PC/cable).
ubuntu doesn't have driver issues, but when you connect your phone to the PC, it has to change from FASTBOOT to FASTBOOT USB.

It doesnt change, so then its likely something with the system partition as it relates to the USB port? Because the port was working fine until the failed flash. But what it sounds like is this is a brick?

doesn't sound like a brick at all, as long a hboot (ie bootloader is fine) no brick should be involved.

Nothing bad has happened, yeah it was kinda stupid to erase the internal memory but so what, everyone does stupid stuffs
Just download the ROM, whatever your carrier based ROM is, from here, http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=0
Then open ADB and follow the instructions here, Method 1 is recommended, http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/guide-moto-x-return-to-100-stock-using-t2446515.
If you have drivers installed on your PC, which I suppose you have, then as soon as you go into bootloader mode, your device will appear on ADB.
That's it.

Without Philz recovery OTG is not available. I assume you have no system to boot? You wiped memory after you wiped data & before you flashed. RSD & XML restore time.

Are you sure I should reboot into bootloader? When I choose that in TWRP it says, "There's no OS, are you sure you want to reboot?"
Right, same results.
Philz cwm recovery could have saved you. It has OTG & USB mount. You could have mounted internal memory from recovery to your PC/Mac then DL a ROM to your now empty internal SD then unmount & flash ROM.

Ignore that. In any case you should always be able to enter bootloader mode. It doesn't require an OS, at least that's what I think.
You can just hold on to vol down and power for eight seconds from TWRP manually, that should enter bootloader mode anyway.

Hi there,
I had installed TWRP on my HTC One mini 2, but accidentally "wiped" system, sdcard and external sdcard. I'm now trying to enter Recovery but the procedure isn't working anymore (before wiping I could enter Recovery mode manually by following the procedure). When I connect my phone to my computer, I get an error message ""This device cannot start. (Code 10)". Before wiping the device, it was detected and I could use ADB and FASTBOOT. I've search a lot on internet but can't solve this issue.
I hope someone can help me so that I can enter recovery and install another ROM.
Thanks

are you able to enter HBOOT then FASTBOOT?
Is the device recognized in laptop? "fasboot devices"
When you try to enter recovery what happens? error? black? anything?
are you using original HTC cable?
I can't enter either hboot or recovery. When I follow the procedure, the phone just reboots and nothing else is happening. When it reboots, I can see the HTC logo.
I have tried to install the drivers on four different laptops but the phone isn't being recognized and thus can't use any adb or fastboot commands. I'm using the original usb cables I got with this phone.
Please advice.

you should be able to enter HBOOT. if you doing it right and still cannot enter them you'll need to send phone to HTC.
Ok. I was able to enter HBoot before I formated/wiped the system and sdcard location. Can you confirm that I should be able to enter HBoot even after formating/wiping the whole phone?
Thanks.
