[Q] What should i do (flashing leaked rom from the stock one)

hello guys . i have a very important question about flashing a new rom.. well i have rooted my s3 from months and now i want to flash it by a leaked rom (4.1.2) so i can get options of note 2
My question is what i should do before flashing it .. should i backup my apps..or system data (my first time to flash and am afraid to damage my phone ) thanks in advance

There is for the i9305 / S3 LTE no leaked 4.1.2

I believe that leak is for the I9300 which is incompatible with the I9305. What I'd suggest if its the note 2 features your after, either wait untill December 5th when I believe the offical Jelly bean 4.1.2 for the I9305 is to be released. Or install a custom rom for instance the Pandorum or Ripper roms

Unless its in the specific I9305 thread I would check it carefully. Flashing a I9300 rom is a very bad idea

[Q/H] Ported Apps on Custom ROMS?

Hi,
my phone is SGS3 i9305. Currently using Resurrection Remix Kitkat 4.4.2 Latest and Last Version..
I just want to ask if is it possible to port the Note3 or S4: Videos,Gallery,Contacts,Dialer,Keyboard and SMS?

It should be portable but, afaik those apk´s need touchwiz framework to work properly, so my guess is it wont work on aosp roms like RR, however you can use it with 4.3 stock rom.

There are many stable ROMs now for XSP .. But the most updated one is the official CM13 by Adrian

PS. If you still have stock ROM installed then you need to unlock your phone boot loader first and also install custom recovery to be able to flash MM ROMs.
