hi guys,i recently got updated my xperia sp from nearest sony xperia service center,the phone is working great on 4.3 android, but i am having a problem with "google play store",actually whenever i search like"subway surfers" it shows all the app results except subway sufer game, and i also tried searching asphalt 8 it shows all the creepy apps but not the game... is this a google play bug or what ?????????????????????????

asphalt 8 is not compatible with indian version of c5302
it is compatible with c5303 i dont knw y as d hardware is same\
and subway surfer must be listed in ur search resullts try do to factory reset

Lol C5302 supports asphalt 8, I found the solution, I just opened settings >apps >Google play> clear cache
That's it problem solved and now I am seeing all the games each and everything

Apologies for the noobish question, I've searched the forums and googled etc.. and not found the answer to my question...
This is my first Android phone, so I'm still getting my head around how things work - quite a few major apps are not compatible with the XZ, is this just because it's a new phone and apps need to be adjusted to work with new handsets? And if so, how long does it take in general for an app to be made compatible? (eg. Angry Birds Star Wars which is a huge game, isn't compatible, I assume this will change in the near future?)
I know it is possible to download programs to bypass incompatibilities, but I don't want to jailbreak (or whatever you fancy Android types call it) my phone just yet.
Sorry if this is a dumb question/answered somewhere else and I'm being totally blind - please lock the thread if so!

Aw, I was already starting to get excited.
I believe that most of those applications are compatible with the xperia z right know like whatsapp subway surf and a lot more . specially the NEED FOR SPEED

hi guy, WECHAT, i tried downloading in both my wife and mine xperia z. It works fine in normal messaging but once voice chatting is involved, the apps sometimes stop responding, and the mic fails. only when turning the speaker on the mic works fine. Need to restart the phone then everything is normal.

You mean the Sony Select app? For some reason that app doens't let you search for apps, so it isn't that useful, unless I'm wrong of course.

NOt sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I don't have such app on my XZ. When I look for it in the Play store, I can find an official PlayStation app, but this just seems to be an info app to promote games for PS2/PSP.
The app "ChatON" is also incompatible it says on google play/store. But thatsnot true, beouse if you downlaod the apk file an dcopyed to the phone then you are able to install it and use it as normal, so strange that its says incompatibel in google's app store. Im now runing the ChatON newest version, I love this app as me and all my friends use it as they have S3 mobiles. Im the first now that have got the sony xperia Z. My first inpresson will come later in a post I can write it in if I find a section to write my first impresion in.
Candy Crush Saga is also listed as incompatible on the Play Store. But if you download and install the apk, it works fine.

Hey all,
I've got my Xperia Z for a few days now and I'm really enjoying it, except for the fact that there are a lot of apps I'd really like to install, but can't.
When I search for these apps in the Play store, I simply can't find them - they are not showing up. When I search them on Google and open the Play store in Chrome, I get a notification saying these apps aren't compatible.
An example of an app I can't find and download is Doodle Jump. What's the reason that I can't install these apps? And will they be compatible soon or is this a hardware issue? Like everyone else, I'm using Android 4.1.2.

Also ran it without issues, but seems a little laggy when output is via MHL on the monitor.
Myne is different
I can load the game correctly, I get to the main screen and my car is there but once I play a map the only thing I can see is my car and the minimap. Everything else is black.
If this helps, I'm running bluestacks (Android for Windows)
but I played Asphalt 8 on bluestacks before and it was working fine.
As usual Low or Mid range samsung phone like galaxy y,galaxy ace,galaxy mini,galaxy music etc have an issue and its hd graphic gets swapped with white.
Some games like Fifa 10,Gangstar West coast hustle etc have hd graphics.
Notice: It would cause bootloops on jelly bean galaxy music and other jelly bean roms
To fix it follow the steps:
1. Download chainfire 3d and its plugins from attachment.
2. Install cf3d and extract plugins any where in internal storage.
3. Now Open cf3d allow su permission and install it normal way, Now it would reboot.
4. After reboot if cf3d is not visible app drawer then reinstall it.
5. Tap install plugins and shaders then install all three-qualcomm powervr nvidia
6. Now hit back and tap fix market.
7. Now tap on Default openGL settings
8. tap use plugin an select qualcomm
9. If u have installed any new hd game then open cf3d then tap fix market
Now hd games like gangstar fifa etc. Are now playable with colourful graphics. Soon i will add working ways to remove lags and screenshots of few hd games running without lag on my phone

I Have Problem with Chainfire 3d,i have the same mobile (Samsung Galaxy music duos). Most of the apps doesn't work by using cf3d.i have tried gangstar west coast hustle qvga game on my mobile but with no luck..the game stucks either in middle or it wont play.. what is the problem..is there any solution please help me... Iam Using GL to SD App to store game data to external SD Card....

Bro old gameloft and ea games of 2010 have multitouch issue on ics,jb but gangstar wch can be played with qualcomm and don't use multitouch

Nova no lag so smooth cf3d required
Real Football 2012 lags a bit but gameplay is smooth and works on jb/ics both no cf3d req.
Nova 2 cf3d required little bit lag
Dead Space smooth no lag but cf3d req.

How to Play the Big Games Such as NFS Most Wanted,Brothers in Arms or any other games more than 1Gb on Galaxy music duos rooted device... Iam using Gl to SD app to mount the data to ExtSd card but it doesn't work with all games.. is there any other way to play such games.

Probelm with Nova Bro, it is force closing in the middle of the game play, i cannot play dead space and Gangstar west coast has the same problem. iam using gmd with ics xwamh2 rooted has chainfire3d with quallcom as said above. Can you please explain in detail how to get rid of this force close and game getting stopped errors . thanks

old gameloft and ea games have force closes but dead space and nova 2 works without any issue and i got a way to remove lags from almost every game +UI becomes fast

Okay thank you for kind reply.. there are many problems with this device while the games are being updated the gameplay is not stable usually. i was playing Justice league Some days back very smoothly but now it is getting stuck at the logo. also Dead trigger was smooth without any laggs.but now the graphics have just gone crazy.. the zombies are just looking white not like the one which were in the images. well one thing is sure that low-mid range devices are low end and we can't expect more from these..we must accept what it gives us ...

Are You Using ICS or Jelly Bean ? I've found alternative for chainfire3d- GLTools GGraphics Optimizer.. well many are talking about this and they are reporting that this tool is very helpful, but it is not working for this device effectively. I've tried many games on 4.1.2 firmware using GLTOOls Some worked before but they are not working now. Can You Help Me with this? Do you know how to Set this GlTools to work for heavy games ?

I've watched the video on YouTube that showing the person playing GTA: IV on his Samsung Galaxy S3 using splashtop game controller. And i tried to download the app (downloaded on blackmart coz it show incompatible on GPlay Store), opened GTA: SA, but it show me a report that i can't play that game due to bla bla bla :/
I've been on AnTuTu benchmark and saw that my phone score is higher than SGS3 :/ i though that my phone was stronger that SGS3 and could play PC games on it using splashtop.

I havent heard of splashtop, but this has nothing to do with performance,
the SP is definitely superior in terms of the CPU and GPU performance compared to the S3 Exynos Quad/Mali & Dual core with ADreno 225 US version.
