Hello Everyone as stated.
I have an international variant of HTC One HTL22. I am also using a mac OS computer.
I unlocked the bootloader and had s off and CID as 111111
The phone was also rooted.
So first I paid a guy in japan to s off and cid the phone along as rooting the phone.
THen I unlocked bootloader.
I downloaded the Android Revolution HD's latest rom.
I flashed into recovery and it went into Clockworkmod.
I wiped and erased all the cache. I installed the ROM and everything seemed going fine until i rebooted the phone.
Now its stuck on the bootloop and always trying to go into recovery but failing. I can get into a different menu by pressing power and volume down. But everytime i try and click factory reset or anything else it just boots into a loop again.
I tried accessing the phone on the Mac OS Terminal but it is not showing up when i try and type up adb devices on the terminal (command prompt)
Please help! I am desperate here!!

Afaik, the HTC One HTL22 (M7_WLJ) is not an international variant, its a Japanese variant for KDDI carrier
I downloaded the Android Revolution HD's latest rom.

Yours is a M7_WLJ, not a M7_UL neither a M7_U. Unless you have download a version of arhd modified to run on your WLJ, you have flashed a rom not compatible with your phone...

ADB only works from a booted rom or from custom recovery, in bootloader you must use fastboot commands, i.e fastboot devices

I see I flashed an incompatible rom.
So now I am stuck in a boot loop. It seems I am able to go onto fastboot and the Terminal (CMD) recognizes the device but I cant get the ADB to recognize the phone.
I don't know what to do after that. Can I flash a compatible rom using an SD card? Or does it have to be on the internal storage?
How do I get it back so that it just loads back onto the stock ROM that it once had?
edit: yeah so I went into fastboot and erased cache which got me back into clockwork mod and using an SD card I tried installing the HTC J One Maximus Rom and the HTCsoku Global Edition ROM and everytime it reboots it just keeps getting stuck on the htc logo entering or trying to enter recovery mode.
Bootloader is still unlocked, S-OFF, CID11111. When I got the phone back from the service guy.
All I did was unlocked the bootloader. He rooted the phone already. So I was hoping to just install a working ROM and then unlock the SIM on the phone.
Any help/advice/ is always appreciated for sure.

Maybe it was not clear:
ADB only works from a booted rom or from custom recovery If you can't make ADB works from custom recovery, your drivers are probably not installed correctly.

You might want to check this thread. here you can find custom recovery and custom rom for your HTL22. Look at the last page, there is an updated rom list for your phone variant.
You can probably flash the rom both from the sdcard or from the internal storage. You can push the rom to your internal storage using ''adb push'' command from twrp recovery.

well after a painful 12 hours I managed to flash a twr recovery that worked. I was able to flash a 4.4 kitkat rom with sense 6.0.
I have an au kddi Iphone 4s micro sim and I want to input that onto the HTC one. I dont think I need to unlock sim for it as its on the same network.
However, when I try to put it on the phone.....I get no signal. I tried WDCMA only and GSM only and to no avail. Any advice?

I was trying to flash a custom rom because I didn't like the att customized rom. I unlocked the bootloader thru htcdev.com and I used the All-In-One toolkit to flash CWM. Everything was fine and I was able to enter CWM. However, after I flashed the Android Revolution HD 6.0 rom, it just stucked at HTC screen. I am trying to enter the recovery and reflash the rom, but I cannot enter CWM anymore. It just disappeared and reboot. I can enter the bootloader. I tried to reflash CWM, but same thing happened. Please help :crying:

Happened to me too, I finally got into CWM again after locking my bootloader, unlocking it again. Still can't get it to boot, nor Sideload a ROM from ADB. :/

The good news is, if your phone powers on, you haven't "bricked" anything.
The bad news is, it sounds like you didn't back up your stock ROM and there's something hinky in how you flashed CWM the second time.
The better news is that you can restore the stock recovery image, and using that, you can reflash the stock ROM. This will put you back at square one, but rest assured that if you can power on your device, and you can get to fastboot, you haven't "bricked" anything.

Don't fastboot flash the recovery. fastboot boot the recovery image. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the good news! May I ask that where I can download the att stock rom and the stock recovery image? I can only find the european and asia version. Thanks
Did you happen to flash the correct boot.img that should have been supplied with the Rom? If not you have to flash it as well.
Hi guys,
I seem to have a problem
So I was running 4.4.2 with Sense 5.5 on my phone. Vodafone (my phone company in Aus) sent out an OTA update for my phone. I'd already rooted my phone and had a custom recovery, so I knew I wasn't able to install it without going back to stock. So I tried following the procedure to go back to stock. Used 'Guru_Reset_M7_2.24.980.2' to do it and it seemed to work pretty well. It was 4.3, so I did an OTA, first one (like a 3mb file) installed fine, then the second one for 4.4.2 Sense 5.5 downloaded and installed, but not it is stuck in a boot loop. So I tried to do a factory reset from the bootloader which sent it back into the bootloop, then as nothing was working, I thought I'd install the custom recovery (TWRP) and install the ROM again and just leave it at that so at least I have a phone. Only problem is I had to unlock the bootloader again which wiped everything on the internal storage. And I'm stuck.
There's nothing in the internal memory. It's stuck in a bootloop after an OTA. I have TWRP installed as my recovery. I can access both recovery and bootloader.
Any idea's?
Also, for some reason, I can't download or access anything from this website; http://ww35.bugsylawson.com/ which I've seen used in multiple places to try and unbrick your phone
Thanks all!

Will this enable me to go fully back to stock and perform OTA updates, or is this just a way to get me out of a rut?
Thanks for the help by the way, currently in the process of doing the sideload.

Good to here
Hey Guys,
Really strange situation here with my HTC One:
It is originally from T-Mobile US although I have brought it to Europe now.
Basically, and I think this happened when implementing an OTA update from my rom, I have lost all access to recovery... any recovery
1) I have erased and re flashed recovery from fastboot, tried both TWRP and Clockwork.
2) I have tried different firmware versions, albeit I don't know which combination is most likely to work...
3) cannot access recovery from phone or via fastboot/adb command, cannot factory reset, cannot flash another rom...
4) Even with hboot locking unlocking and then reflashing of Recovery, still no access.
Funnily, the rom was working fine, but I could not upgrade or change it without recovery...
Phone details below, any help you can provide would be most welcome, I'm not a developer but I've been using custom android roms on phones and tablets for some years and have never encountered this.
Many Many thanks!
Phone Details:
- Carrier Unlocked with T-Mobile code
- Bootloader unlocked with HTC Dev method
- Super CID
- S-OFF
- HBOOT 1.54 (was also on 1.57 but have changed as part of trouble shooting)
- Radio 4T.29.3218.08
- OS 6.09.401.5 (have tried a couple of firmware versions)
- Rom MaximusHD 44.0.1 (now wiped due to troubleshooting with locked/unlocked hboot)

So what exactly is the problem, does the flash fail? Or successfully flashing but won't load? Does it bootloop or get stuck on a particular screen?

i guess your problem is you see that written " Entering Recovery " but it wont . right ? if it is the case then you have to lock the bootloader and unlock it again after you unlock it type fastboot erase cache in the fastboot mod and then flash the recovery and then clear cache again ( reboot bootloader maybe and then enter recovery )it will definitely work. Well worked for me Best of Luck

When you enter recovery, be it from reboot or from bootloader, it shows "entering recovery", then goes dark for a second (you'd expect TWRP screen next) and then goes back to "entering recovery" and doesn't move.

Tried playguy1 method but with the 2.7 TWRP I was originally on. No luck, after relock/unlock/wipe cache/flash/rewipe Cache I was still stuck in entering recovery.
After that tried reboot/wipe cache/ flash Danny201281's suggested openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7 and erased cache / reboot...
WORKED!!!!! Many thanks to both guys!
Seems related to ROM/Firmware/Radio/TWRP version combination but it worked fine before.
Danny201281: Is there a particular reason you pointed towards openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7 ? Most stable version for HTC One?
Again, great help! Thank you both. :good:

It's not the first time I've come across this problem here on the forums, and in every case that is the version that always works. Unfortunately it doesn't necessarily mean an end to your problem you may find that is the only recovery that will successfully load.
You can try some different recoveries and see what happens but when all else fails use TWRP 2.6.3.3.
Hi,
I had Android revolution installed on my M7. I've started to play with TWRP recovery and I've bricked my phone. It's now turning on straight to TWRP recovery, even if i will choose to boot system. Can you help me fix it?

What have you done exactly from TWRP? Wiped /system? Tried to flash a rom? Formatted /data?
download a rom and push it to you internal storage and then flash it using the "install" function in twrp recovery. You won't be able to flash lollipop rom on this phone because the firmware installed is to old.
i don't know how to do this. i can't find software for ORANG001. maybe i can install some custom ROM?
If the phone will be working fine i know how to do s-off, change cid and flash it with stock rom.
Is there any other way to gain s-off except rumrunner?

Your on hboot 1.57. There is only one way to s-off 1.57 and thats Sunshine app. Which cost £25. But before you can s-off you need a functional rom on the device.
You can use this http://www.androidrevolution.org/downloader/download.php?file=Android_Revolution_HD-One_84.0.zip
Download the rom and put it in your fastboot folder and rename it something simple like rom.zip.
If you have twrp 2.8.5.x you should be able to enable MTP in recovery then just copy the rom strait to you internal storage from you pc and install it.
Older versions of twrp don't support MTP in which case you will need to adb push the rom to your device. Instructions below
With the rom.zip in your fastboot folder. Open a adb/fastboot command window. Boot the device to recovery and connect usb. Check adb is working by typing
Code:
adb devices
if you get the expected out put push the rom with
Code:
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
The command window will appear unresponsive until the push is complete. When it's done install the rom with TWRP.
Sent from my SM-T230 using Tapatalk

If you have t.w.r.p 2.8.7.0 or higher, your phone shows up and mounts as an MTP device and you can copy the rom zip from your PC, an then flash/install it and reboot. There are forums on how to flash recovery elsewhere on this site for the m7spr, and after that you should be able to boot it up with your rom and no problem
