Thought I would post up a review of my case, tempered glass, and skinit cover. I could not find a case that I liked, so I created my own using this Supcase: http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-All-N...id=1401306764&sr=8-2&keywords=htc+one+m8+case
I then found a picture online that I wanted on the case and went to http://www.skinit.com/customizer-v2 and chose the M8.
I also applied a tempered glass protector. Yes I know we have Gorilla glass, but I wanted more. So I got this: http://www.amazon.com/i-Blason-All-...sim_cps_7?ie=UTF8&refRID=1ZE4S1BCHHMB7HR6WZ1J
After having everything installed since 4/17/14, everything has held up nicely. I have dropped my phone, but on carpet. No really bad drops on concrete or hard surfaces. Skinit sticker shows no wear. The case feels secure in hand and not near as slippery as the phone. The tempered glass shows no wear or scratches. My only problem with the tempered glass is finger smudges. But a simple run across a tshirt does the trick to keep it clean. I am happy with going this route. When I decide to change the look, I just have to order another custom skinit.com sticker! No need to buy another case!

The case installed. Yes the top of the case doesn't fit flush, but it doesn't bother me.

A case that protects the device's corners and front is necessary to prevent shattering. Screen protectors only prevent surface scratches, not impacts, which are the cause of glass fracturing.
You don't necessarily need a super bulky case like the Otterbox Defender. For the occasional drop, something smaller like the Otterbox Commuter, Ballistic SG, or Incipio DualPro would be good choices.
I agree but if you want to avoid this you will need to hold on tighter or get a full case.
The quick window case may not have saved this though because it might have flew open or been open when phone was being shown to his sister by a quick little friend of mine.

I'm only over sharing this pic to maybe make you folks quicker to hold on to your phone. I've noticed adults want to grab my big beautiful (replacement) phone too. I'm faster to crush their desires, though.
Hi Guys,
I bought one of these Orzly glass screen protectors for the LG G4, mainly because I've heard of the brand before and they're quite good for glass screen protectors.

What is quite good about the screen protector is the fitting, luckily the phone does not have a curved screen so the screen protectors goes right the way to the edge. As the screen protector is curved on the edges, it feels pretty much seamless when you run your finger from the side of the phone to the screen. Small details but it makes a difference to how it feels when you're using it.
There's cut outs to the speaker, sensors and front camera so none of that is obstructed, only the notification indicator light is covered but that's not a problem as it's only there to give an indication of any incoming notifications.
So far so good using the screen, I've got quite sweaty hands so my fingers do leave smudge marks on the screen, but a simple wipe on my t-shirt and it's as good as new again.
Overall I can't fault it, will continue using it and leave my comments after a bit more use.
Found this video online from them showing the screen so you can take a closer look at it
thanks, good and honest video

I'm really glad because I ordered one a few days ago. Great review, thanks!

Description: This is the same case as the "DGtle Shockproof Case" listed under the sexy cases thread..
I bought the case from this eBay listing.
Photos: http://imgur.com/a/t9pRa.
Mini-Review: The case uses the standard soft-hard combination of layers. The soft layer wraps the phone; the hard layer snaps in over the soft. The hard layer doesn't cover the top or bottom edge, so corner impacts will need to absorbed by the soft layer only.
I find the hard layer to be smooth and neither easy nor hard to grip. The case adds some bulk, but I find this makes the phone easier to hold.
Given that at this time (November 2015) there are not a lot of dual-layer options, I think this case is a great option, especially given its low price (sub $5--again, at this time).
Let me know if you have any questions.
Updated (Nov 16): A week since I posted this. The cased phone has not slipped out of my hands yet and has been easy to use with my jeans front pocket. The soft layer has not stretched or moved from its original position. Still, because only the soft layer will absorb a corner impact, I am keeping an eye out for a dual-layer case where the hard layer protects the corners.
I will try many of glass protectors and all of them was bad.
Nillkin and ASLING for example..
I want full cover glass.. what is the best?
and I need good case, protective and good grippy but not a tank..
The original one is recommend?

In my opinion, Nillkin is great, haven't found better ones or full cover glass.
Regarding cases. I'm using the original that comes with the phone and so far so good.
I love the original Xiaomi leather case that I bought for 39RMB - flawless quality, awesome grip, good look.

I ve tried many but Nilkin 9+ pro is the best, thin with 2,5D edges, plus there is no difference at feeling due it has great eleophovic coating and doesnt leave fingerprints.
I'm using kingkong tempered glass, in my redmi note 4 that broke but still can be use and not broke at all. very good tempered glass for me
I have used some screen protectors and I have usually used a wet application method as it has proven to be the most effective method for a good application. The last phone I had, had a Zagg screen protector of over two years. One of the corners was starting to peel back but overall, it was still in good shape. I just got a new amFilm screen protector for Galaxy S21 Ultra and I was fascinated by the method used to apply it, so I bought it.
But I nearly jumped out of my skin when I realized that I was using my fingerprint and had a dome protector on. My right thumb if pushed firm works almost every time. The application was smooth, no dust particles, no bubbles. However, just based on the application, I trust that this will be a good choice.
