yes, you need the flashtool from the development section and then find an ICS ftf from the all in one thread
sony flashtool will only work with an unlocked bootloader, the flashtool from the dev section will work on a locked bootlader

Unlocking a bootloader is for someone who wants to use Custom ROMs that involves a custom kernel. You can definitely stay on a locked bootloader if you wish to also try some custom ROMs. These types of custom are specially built for locked bootloaders. Before towelroot appears, rooting requires unlocking the bootloader. But now don't worry.
Root your 4.3 ROM by using towelroot
CM 11

you should search the forum first. Your answers are all over the place. Let me guide you
Do you want to unlock your bootloader?
I've been using MrSteve555's CM port for locked bootloaders. Towelroot and Philz recovery (on this forum in dev section) with custom CM - works a treat: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/development/cyanogenmod-11-locked-bootloader-users-t2868398
Hey guys just got a xperia z c6606 rooted and with cwm recovery but Lb and wanna know which roms I can use with now problem stable 4.4.4 build please....
Hi guys,
can you please suggest me which is best stable ROM for locked bootloader for C6903 available (your opinion / experiences)? I have downgraded to 4.2.2 and have it already rooted with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v36 and have installed Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.8.26 so I am ready to flash.
Newest one I found is Kryptonian- The Rom of Awesomeness v5 13/10/16 is it the best choice?
Thanks
