i have replied to ur PM on this the HTC explorer is good if she only wants to use the phone for just calls and all i have dont any rooting or flashing on this phone as it is being used by my wife and she wont allow me to do anything on it
u can look at the new Mi425 or the new HTC Desire C

Don't go with cheap company for your sis., go with reputed like HTC as haree has suggested. HTC, Samsung and Sony has some phones in that range... I'd suggest you to go through this thread over here

ok, got the wrong impression about explorer that he suggested you, my suggestion would be HTC Explorer, BB Storm or if you can wait then Sony is going to release some new phones

but then to my knowledge sony phones are always are on the higher side of price i haven't see any android phone in 10k range

why dont u just get the MI425 9700+ (chek saholic.com)almost same as ur phone but better looking i saw the phone it looks good and it has dual sim

don't go with BB.... its nothing but waste of money Instead if u r looking for non android phone then any Nokia mobile in that range will serve the job better than BB ... BB charge for everything after u purchase mobile means if you want net then activate BB service which are above RS. 400 for most of operators ... if you want youtube access then need higher pack of BB services and so on .. BB is best suited to corporate world where everything is paid by company not for personnel one ....
Nokia C6 01 would be great phone if going for non android stuff

I had given my Spice phone for a few days to my wife and switched back to my wife's blackberry ...
She was not happy with spice phone at all .. she was not happy with camera and pictures , she termed the phone very slow and found navigation and others very difficult so i would say its personal choice to go with android but i would advice go with Samsung or Sony Xperia for woman the looks of the phone are also very critical factor

Well i dont think xperia SP will be satisfactory for you, after having a note for such a long time. I wouod say to givw it a trial first, then decide to get it. Yes u have other options like htc one, s4 and if ur in a hurry note 2. If u can wait then moto X or maybe note 3.

by SPECS i meant the almost equal dual core processor and same resolution camera and almost everything being the same...

I can choose between several devices:
- Huawei Ascend P6
- Huawei Ascend Y300
- Xperia M
- Xperia E
- Lumia 520
- Lumia 920
- Galaxy S2 Plus
Anyways, it's for sure that I'm gonna leave you guys. But don't worry I'll still be keeping my S Advance as development phone.
Now: my question is: which of the above phones has high battery life ( with lot of internet using ) and a nice CPU.
I know for sure that I'm not going for the Sammy phone ( even though it will get 4.4 ). And I'm sure about the Huawei thingy. It looks and feels good, but I never encountered the brand before.
Xperia M&E are outdated. And about Lumia phones: Microsoft, nuff said...
Please help me with my choice.

AVOID S2 PLUS! My friend has it, and he had too much sleeps of death. It just freez, after that you need to reboot or to pull out battery.

I don't want Sammy anymore. Promising updates they can't give, LagWiz and on top of that they only support their flagship phones. The design is ugly ( that curved design makes me feel like it's a womens phone ).

Looks like a economic Z.. Same TFT screen without HD resolution, same SoC (1 Ghz M and 1,5 Ghz Z), less RAM (1 Gb M and 2 Gb Z).. So is like Z, almost same hardware but less powerfull..

until now, the Lumia has by far the best experience I've ever had with a phone.
Great battery life, super smooth stock performance and the Dolby Surround System really owns any other Sound Engine.

WP is a bit like marmite, you either hate it or love it, I personally enjoy it, but I don't like the Lumia's minimalist theme. Flicking through apps and settings is clean and quick, and you suffer a few less FCs than android. Who says the two can't go hand in hand? Just like Windows and Linux?

I got my new nexus 5 32 GB from 3 weeks ago ..I carried it out yesterday (i 'm using old Nokia asha 306 when go out ) ,I saw 3 of my friends who had iPhone 5 ,iPhone 4s ,iPhone 4g they started talking about the negative things about Android and nexus 5 !!! I steel love the n5 but not like before I saw them .I'm thinking to sell it and get iPhone 4s  ..they changed my opinion to nexus 5

Battery life totally depends on how you setup your device. How you use it, what all you install and a lot off other variables. If you figure that out, it can easily last a day with pretty good Screen On Time.
Please define "bad camera focus"?? Touch on the area you want to shoot and click your photo.. Only if you're too close to the object, the camera goes out of focus. But that holds true for each and every phone out there. :silly:
Yes, I agree that the Nexus 5's stock speaker sound isn't great. However, if you root your phone and install Viper4Android, the sound increases significantly! That's the beauty of Android. You can change each and every aspect of it and get the most of out of your device!

You do realize that the Nexus 5 has a Quad Core 2.3 Ghz processor which doesn't have any artificial coolant, right? YOUR PHONE IS GOING TO GET HOT WHEN YOU USE IT! IT"S NOT A BUG!
If it's getting hot without using it then most probably there's a rouge app in the background which is preventing the device from sleeping. Heating also depends on the room temperature as well.

What are the "bad" things that they say? if you're talking about the previous posts regarding camera, battery etc etc, I've already answered that.
1. Why do you care what they say about it? You afraid of not looking cool?
2. Why are you asking us if its as bad as they say? You are using it aren't you?
3. I doubt you are going to find very many people who use a dumb iPhone in this forum.
4. If you know what you are doing, the Nexus 5 can run circles around the iPhone.
5. If you are still worried THAT much....get an iPhone.
