I tried to unlock bootloader and got a boot loop.
Then i flashed the 343 FTF but it continue and now i dont have recovery to shut down the phone.
I think the battery will go 0% soon.
how can i at least shut the phone down? pls..
Sry to create a Thread but i dont have much time to search more :/
EDIT:
I finally got the phone to start, so i'll tell the "history" here to people that get the same problem as me, and ask some question before do anything wrong again.
History:
1- I was on .343, rooted, bootloader locked. Decided to install the 1.253 rooted version with dual recovery. Everything was fine, working great.
2- Then i passed to unlock the bootloader. Followed that thread... everything seemed normal again... disconnected the phone and powered it up.
3- The boot loop started. Got the sony logo, the lights flowing, and restarted... again, again, again
4- I entered TWRP tried to do a factory reset, got a error message... can remember what, but something about mounting...
5- Shut down the phone using TWRP. Opened flashtool and flashed the .343 TFT, Everything ok again, unpluged the phone and started it. (Didnt choose to wipe data and cache).
6- The phone boot loop again. That time without recovery. I got desperate and posted that topic.
7- Finally got the phone to shut down.(thanks boyob32). power button+volume up until it vibrates 3 times.
Basically is that.
SOLUTION:
Searching more calmly i found that thread. Used the Flahstool again (that time wipping data and cache).
The phone finally started up!
Now some question to not make myself a fool again.
1- What could i made wrong?
2- I'm a little scared to try to unlock bootloader again... Since i got no error when doing it first time, is it already unlocked?
3- when i was using flashtool with the phone in bootloop got some errors messagens regarding drives. Before that everything was OK. Should i install them all over again?
4- Can i unlock the bootloader before update to .253?
thanks again. you guys are great!
PS: I can't edit the topic title, sry for that.
Hold the power button and volume up together, after a while it will switch off.

Hi All,
Sorry if this is asked before. I have a new Note 5 unlocked. I turned it on yesterday and started using it. Late at night, its screen froze. I tried pressing Power+Volume_Down buttons to restart the phone. The phone restarted but the the screen was black. Only the notification light was on (blue).
In the morning, the light was still on and the phone was froze. I tried restarting it and I succeeded it. Then I realized the phone was very, I mean veeeery slow. By the time, a firmware update notification popped up. I believe it was Marsmallow update. I hit the yes button. The phone started the update and was stuck at %24. Then it restarted itself. The update process starts over and when it reaches %24, it starts over.
This happened before with my note 4 when I tried to root it. This phone is brand new and is not rooted. However, I transferred my Google profile but I did not select to download my previous apps. So, I don't think it is rooting issue but stucking at the same percentage makes me nervous.
I tried to get into recovery mode but the button combination does not work at all. So I can neither factory reset nor clear the cahe partition. When I press Volume_Down+Home+Power buttons, a custom rom download screen appears but Volume_Up+Home+Power buttons do not work at all. I cannot shut off the phone. It constantly restarts itself, starts the update, fails at %24 and starts the process over again.
What might be the problem? How can I fix this?
Regards
Hi,
Try flashing some stockfirmware via Odin (ideally something of the same android version i.e. lollipop/marshmallow). Once it's installed you should be able to access recovery from which I strongly recommend clearing your cache afterwards as you've already suggested. If you are not worried about loosing any data, then flash new firmware that is inclusive of BL/CP/CSC files too (each one has a category for such in Odin). With the latter, by all means flash marshmallow etc. :good:

Hi,
I've run in to some problem with my XZ3, H9436. I was restarting my device as i do from time to time but this time it got stuck on startup. I goes on normally until it starts showing the "xperia" logo in different colours and just freezes for some time and then reboots and it keeps doing this until i force it off.
I've tried to get into recovery mode by holding down power+volume up but to no avail. (Maybe it's the wrong combo?)
When the phone is connected to a windows computer it is being seen by the pc.
Pc companion sees it but don't allow me to do anything since the phone is locked.
The only option i can use in pc companion is the factory reset but that deletes my files and there are some .gpx files i would like to recover from the phone.
Am i out of luck or is there anyone who has any ideas that could help me get my files of my phone?
//N
EDIT: Of course i would like to be able to repair the current system and not reset everything, but that might not be possible? But if it is that would be great.
Today I left my phone in a cab and got it back in the evening. But after I got my phone it was stuck in a boot loop (after force restart - power button press and hold - it will go to battery icon and automatically restart after a few minutes and again goes to battery icon). Please see the video to understand the boot loop. Unfortunately, Developer options of the phone were not enabled.
Can boot to recovery but can boot to fastboot.
Can you please help me to boot my phone back to normal or sideload a ROM via adb.
tia
Was able to fix the issue. Followed below steps,
1. Kept phone until the battery fully drains
2. Plugged into the charger and charged the phone up to around 65% while the phone is switched off.
3. Switched on the phone when the cable is disconnected.
4. This time the phone was booted to recovery. No battery logo anymore
5. From recovery, rebooted the phone. But again it was booted to recovery.
6. Wiped all data and rebooted.
7. Phone was booted to MIUI os but had to set up the phone again from the beginning.

Same problem bro, did u resolve it???
I think your battery is empty. Leave it on power for a while and check if its charging. Maybe the charginglevel is too low for booting up.

I hope it was that simple ..it seems probably like a bad update. My gfs phone did the similar today
The digitizer stopped working, I force reset the phone and boom ..recovery mode - Trying everything but it doesn't work. Wipe surely would work but she has pictures and videos so I'm trying to avoid that. Plug it to charging but she remembers it had like 75% of battery ...geez (hoping for a miracle)
EDIT: Probably this happen from the bad xiaomi update, anyway I did wipe the data and as expected it work without an issue, I'll unlock this phone and ditch MIUI (I mean I did it to my phone Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S from day 1 - I hate miui) ..now my gf has a reason to hate it too
A factory reset could be painful, since you would lose everything on the device. I saw a guy tap all over the back of the phone with two fingers, and boom! The Redmi Note 10 Pro boot normally! I tried it on a friend's phone, and it worked.
Hello,I had a kind of a similar thing.
I left my phone to charge and when I was back it seems to be stuck in a boot loop(MIUI14)
Well,I tried to force restart but the same.
Before I go to recovery mode, accidently,I putted the phone in fastboot mode.I restarted it in the try to go to recovery mode but the phone started normally. After boot,it's shows an update compete message,so te problem was from an android security path update whatever.

I have important apps on the phone and I wasnt thinking about a factory reset anyway but hopefully it worked in that way
Hi, sorry for the bad english. My Xiaomi Note 11 worked perfectly fine for months since I bought it, but last night I accidentally left it charging for the whole night and when I woke up, it suddenly rebooted to recovery mode. I rebooted it back to system, which reboots the phone as usual, then I unlocked the lockscreen, everything went perfectly normal, until it rebooted again to recovery mode. I tried rebooting again, but it rebooted again to recovery mode after I unlocked the lockscreen. I tried booting it to safemode, but it went the same way. However, when I leave the lockscreen unlocked, it doesn't reboot itself. I tried turning it off and rebooting it with the screen unlocked but it did nothing. Do you guys ever have the same problem? Is there any way to fix it without wiping the data? I have some banking apps and other data that would be difficult to recover if I were to wipe out the phone.
I have the same problem too, I think it might have to do with the new update Xiaomi pushed to European devices in the last few days. We'll have to wait and see if they push a fix/if we find a fix...
Exact same problem, started appearing today. This is so weird. I already wiped data and the problem persists; went thorough the setup with no issue, and as soon as I finished it and the phone goes to the main screen, after a few seconds it started appearing again.

Can you give us an update if it works? I also post the problem on Reddit and some people there were also able to fix it by wiping the data.
Will wiping the data fix the issue, if it does, please do let us know

I found a way to do so. The problem is that once the phone is unlocked you have a few minutes before it gets booted into recovery mode. So:
Step 1) Have the phone connected to a computer before booting it up, with file explorer in the "this pc" category (where the phone storage will appear)
Step 2) boot the phone and input the password (if any)
Step 3) QUICKLY pull down the notification bar and press the usb options notification
Step 4) QUICKLY press the second option for file transferring
Step 5) QUICKLY open phone storage from pc once it pops up (at this point the phone screen will probably be black with a white loading circle but the phone storage is still accessible!!! You now have a few minutes to transfer any data you want)
Step 6) QUICKLY search through phone storage for any important data and copy/paste it to your computer
Sooner or later the phone will be booted to recovery mode and the mi logo will appear and the phone storage will disappear from the computer so repeat above steps until all your data is backed up.
If a file transfer gets stopped while running, copy/paste the data again on the next "run" and choose to ignore files that are already copied. With this method I managed to backup all my photos and files before wiping the phone.
This problem might be due to a problematic firmware update. My phone was running MIUI version 13.0.12(RGKEUXM) (europe version). I wiped the data and updated my phone to version 13.0.13(RGKEUXM) after setting it up just in case. I will update this thread if the problem reappears.
I am running RGCMIXM (13.0.16.0) and have encountered the issue. Really annoying. Did the wipe all and had no success. I hope someone can help find a fix. No feedback on the issue i logged thru the feedback app to Xiaomi.

Which wipe method did you do? Just a factory reset or a reflash?
