Could it be of the German language I use?

For resizing the nav bar you need a fully patched frameworkres.apk
Wich means if it is edited it wont give bootloop.

There's not much I can say about this mod. The title and the picture pretty much say it all!
This is the stock, deodexed SystemUI.apk from the stock KitKat .230 rom...with a brightness bar!
To have it on your phone, just download the zip and flash in CWM or PhilZ Touch (NOT TWRP).
Don't forget to make a nandroid backup first!
Oh, and this will only work on a deoxdexed rom!

It is, isn't it? That's because I've reduced the height of the navbar in framework-res.apk. This is easy enough to resolve with a single xml edit in SystemUI.apk.
I didn't do that edit so as to keep this completely stock (with the obvious exception of the brightness bar!).

There's no harm in asking.
I'm happy to add the brightness bar to their mod...with their permission, of course.
