Thanks for this! It is really making it tough on me keeping my sense roms while these kinds are being busted out. I loved the pure android feel on my Gnex and it's been nice back with sense on M8 but, dang I want to flash some of these! I appreciate your hard work and i'll be looking to try this one out!
Once you try there's no going back

Everything from last build to know from cm on ROM and device is currently updated ?
Sent from my One M8 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Wow - great work. I am ditching sense now. This ROM is my daily.
Look forward to the future work.
One of my only questions - since I am new to this ROM and 4.4.3 ...
1. How do "themes" settings work? Are there places I can download themes from? If so, where?
2. Can I get a dark themed SMS (stock)?
Apologies, just looking to customize this awesome, snappy ROM. Would love some dark/inverted type of theme.
EDIT: Used Theme Chooser and went to town. Wow.

Unfortunately, for me at least, there is something very broken in this ROM. I've cleaned flash 3 times now just to test.
NFC never shuts off for me unless I tick it and reboot. I've done this three times and every time I boot back into the ROM systemui never starts. No status bar, no nav bar. A reboot after that causes the encryption bug without fail. I had to use the partition fixer 3 times last night.

Wow. If anyone else is having any issues like this let me know. Are you using TWRP? If so, my personal opinion, flash phils or cwm. I always use phils but recently flashed TWRP to try an app out = encrypted 2 tines in 2 boots. I'll never go back

All together though, there's been a decent number of downloads of those rom since it's been released, I've tested it, others tested it. This is the first I've heard of it so maybe look into what else you have going on with xposed possibly, kernels, kernel settings,or anything out of the ordinary installed. Most of that wouldn't likely be the cause but if you're the only one, and I can't replicate it, logcat it or we'll never know.

I'm sorry but I'm going to stay away for now :/ these were completely clean flashes, no other kernel, no apps. I know the procedure, grab a log cat but I've been flashing since captivate days and I just don't want to try again. Sorry for taking up space in the thread.

HTC One Illusion Rom FAQs
How do I enable HALO?
Go into settings. Under Illusion System Settings, select interface. You will find Halo Options. Here you can turn on halo, and tweak the way Halo works.
Where is my Data toggle in the notification pane quick settings panel?
As of right now, the only way to toggle data is through the Data Usage menu in settings. A fix is being worked on for this. I believe the problem exists in quite a few ROMS for the One.
Why isn't my NFC working?
Don't worry, all you need to do is flash the file at the bottom of this post title NFC Fix. This fix was pointed out by @Pony Express.
How do I enable/Disable CRT animations?
CRT off animation can be toggled under Illusion System Settings>Display
How do I access Google Now?
On the HTC One, the HTC logo is NOT a button. However, in the Illusion ROM (and some other ones), the strip above the logo has been modded to work as a button. Long pressing that stip will give you instant access to Now
Are there any other Bugs I should be aware of?
Not sure if it is mac only, or whether this will occur on PC as well, but if you connect as MTP, mac does not recognize it. ADB and PTP work fine. It is only MTP where this issue occurs. At this point, I feel the issue is with Macs being unable to recognize the MTP protocol. I was able to work it on a PC.

Data Tile in EQS doesn't work (Data works, just have to go into settings, or use a widget)
Sweep2wake doesn't work, even if you select it in the Illusion Settings

Yup, my party is about to jump-off shortly!!!
Well the ROM is certainly speedy, but there are some things I can't help but notice:
1. There is a small delay between tapping an item on the screen, and an action happening...for example, tapping an ON/OFF toggle would turn that toggle on, or off, about a half second after I tapped it. Same goes with opening the app drawer, or any app.
2. The audio sounds very distorted. It never sound so distorted on the stock ROM, so maybe there's a file missing that needs to be extracted so the BOOM sound doesn't sound bad. (using the built in EQ app doesn't work well either)
3. The font is somewhat difficult to read, even with it set to large. It's very narrow....
Other than that, it's a wonderful ROM for those wanting stock
Sweet, would try this out. Thanks devs

The sound issue is definitely present in new Cyanogen mod builds, it only happens when its on max volume, tick it one down and it's gone. I noticed this one the 7/6 nightly and it drove me crazy so much I went back to sense.
Just installed this rom. GPS seems to not work on any aosp or aokp builds. Any fix?
I can post a log cat if needed.

Here is a couple things you can try. Go into Google settings app / location and make sure access is turned on also before flashing over to a Aosp from sense make sure you turn your GPS on and get a lock in maps then boot into recovery and flash Rom. And in LTE gps acts flakky I have to toggle location access while on lte. To get it to turn on hope this helped

If you didn't run GPS at least once on Sense, it frequently won't work with CM/AOKP builds. Go and do that...once you do that CM10/AOKP lock on to GPS (on my phone) in about 2 seconds, even indoors.
EDIT: This means you have to RUU back to stock, GPS lock, then re-install whatever ROM.
New Build tomorrow

It's a little different than that. I just made a new build but it didnt fix it so back to the drawing board.
Are you still working on this rom? It looks really nice and I plan on flashing it this weekend, as long as it's still being developed on.

in G+ CyanFox says :
"Download and build servers maintenance will take a bit longer than planned. Sorry. (it takes some time to make and restore backup to new SSD drive)"
it's normal now:good:
Downloading right now. Will post results later! Thanks!
Edit: I already flashed and I'm testing it.
It's a very good ROM. A little lag in the app drawer, nothing too noticeable.
Something weird that happened to me is that, after a reboot, the clock was gone from the notification bar. I already changed the settings on the Interface menu, but still not showing. Weird, but doesn't matter.
Just one question. Is there any way in which I can remove HALO?
I clean flashed this ROM
-The external sdcard mounts correctly even on TiBu
-I have yet to test battery out today in the after noon
-Little to non lag
-I don't have great signal for LTE ,but I get around 22mb/s
-I have yet to try screen recorder (once I find out how to use it )
-All the gapps are working as of right now
Looks very nice especially on KitKat
Thank you for the ROM

Will check it out, thanks for your efforts!
EDIT: What's different in your gapps over cm11,PA, Dhacker's gapps? What's included?
Looking forward to trying this, this weekend
Good, no force close yet. No bug yet. Everething works good. Thanks. Will try battery life.

Best ROM for the Atrix HD yet. Buttery and stable like CM with just enough features. Not flashy or bloated. Love it.. Great job!

I just wanna be clear on this. I'm not any part of CyanFox Team. I just simply built this from there source for our phone. Gonna try to get it an official ROM though.

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One M7,M8, Nexus 5, LG Optimus GEE, and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.
Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintain the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.
As stated above, we love to maintain authorship but we also like to publicly praise those that have helped us along the way with our wonderful project. With that said, this wouldn't be possible without the work and help of those listed below THANK YOU ALL!!
| OmniROM | AOKP | CM | ChaOS | Paranoid Android | Slim ROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Please check our gerrit/github for full credits/thanks of individual contributorsBelieve it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

Custom kernel??
I must say that this seems to be running pretty smooth! I have had it running for about 30 minutes so far and the only thing I have noticed it that the left side is a little warm. Is this ROM aokp or cm based? Other than that GREAT JOB TO THE DEV!!

Im sorry but I can't reproduce this. I have completely wiped mine and have superuser just fine. Under Settings do you have a SuperSU option at the bottom?
Any chance to port it to N5100?
I do have it in settings and if I run root checker it validates that I have root. I don't know why I was getting those messages. It seems to be working fine and all of my root required apps are functioning just fine. Must have been a glitch because I didn't have super SU in settings at first when I first posted.
This ROM is amazing. I have my favorite that I always go back to as I like to try them all and this is now one of my favorite.

I really like the pic that is in the boot animation and was hoping it would be in the wallpapers. There are some awesome pics in that but no red unicorn. I was wondering I'f you could take that red shot of the dirty unicorn and incorporate it somehow into the wallpaper selections?
Its worth at least asking. And as an update, everything is running great, root and all.

I am inlove!!!!! The only two issues I am having is the my documents keeps forceclosing and when I charge my device while it is turned off it does not show the battery gauge animation. Other than that, this ROM is AMAZING! Thank You!
JMZ, quick question, on the download page at the top where we pick our devices, I noticed one of the devices was "i650" . What device is that?
I know it's kind of off topic, and I apologize for that.

Thanks for this awesome release!
The only problem I found is that in Settings -> Buttons there isn't a place to configure the frontal physical buttons (home, back, menu). How can I set Home Long Press to open recent apps?
Gravity box for xposed let's you program buttons
Can I use CM11 gapps for this?
Does this have sdcard mounting problems like CM11?

Thanks for your Awesome Work .
Take my Gravity-love .
Thanks again Bro
will you add hide empty sim card icon in the status bar next update?
Rom is very stable & smooth using it and am very impressed by the looks as well... Welcome change from boring cm apps & looks... Thanks for your hard work.
Just a request that please keep this awesome rom up to date like your other roms
I'm getting a bootloop by flashing xposed zip v67 sdk 22
But it doesn't get hot during bootloop, which is very nice. It was even charging + bootloop, and it was at the early phase of boot where the screen doesn't get dim yet.
Oh, and also, it responds to my power button input during the bootloop, it responds with a lagging (late) vibration.
And yes, I did clean install of course. I even formatted /system and whole /data.
Here's the logcat
Thanks

Ahh sorry. After some browsing finally found out that the xposed doesn't work for uber because of heavily modified art libs, or so they said on march.
Anyway, arter97 makes device-specific xposed zips by modifying core and libs, maybe you can take a look at the code

What about the data issue? which ever sim u select for the data automatically becomes the sim one and whatever sim u inserted in sim slot one is always show as data sim in QS... and also there is no option for changing sim to 3g networl... see below SS
Just wanted to drop in and let everyone know I'm working on the msim issues right now. SlimLP's source code is missing a lot of commits for dual sim functionality. So I'm having to scan through other repos to determine which ones I need. I personally don't have a msim device, but I have multiple users who can test changes for me. So all the dual sim issues should be fixed shortly

K... Thanks... The only bug i got in this uberslim and orionLP is that sim bug... So it will gonna be fix soon...
Excellent
Simple smooth and awsum.. hats off developer. best rom. if it would hav been bugless. Anyway im a single sim user so im cool wid it. So i was wondering can u port Oxygen Os To sprout. by any means.
This rom is lightweight yet have some features .. i would rather like eleven music player than vanilla music also if you could provide nova as default launcher then that would be awesome
Alright, it has about the same bugs as other AOSP based ROMs. Minor though.
About SIM switching idk since I only use a single SIM.
The ROM itself is very nice, smooth and has nice battery life. Makes me wonder if I actually need xposed for amplify and powernap or not. Best one I've tried so far.
New build is up!

Enjoy!

Will there be a sprout_b build?
Great ROM with minimal features good performance, slim launcher has some issues on changing DPI,it has weird bug that when you open app drawer and hit back button status bar becomes blurry black and if you press home it again changes to transparent but it can be overcame using nova but I hope slimlp addresses this bug
Thanks a lot I am planning to use it as daily driver overall better than cm anyways...AOSP>CM

It will be nice to have some kind off toggle indicator on the quick settings tile (or in the menu showing after holding the data tile, there is now a data roaming toggle ), now need to confirm data connection status on settings-data usage after toggling on the quick tile.
Anyway awesome build, going to stick with this [emoji106]
