Hey XDA, I am running the latest Viper One Rom on my m7 and the last few updates haven't succeeded in correcting my problem, so I am reachingout to see if I am the only one experiencing the issues. One of my favorite features of our phones is the zoe and the ability to match custom themes to the chosen content. Lately my phone is only allowing one theme to b used, it is literally stuck on the clean theme. When I try to choose another theme it highlights only when I choose it, then instantly goes back to the clean theme. I have tried doing a full clean flash of the latest Viper One Rom wiping all data, cache, and Calvin. To no avail I am still stuck on the clean the theme, and now the only option I can think of is going back to one the earlier versions of the Rom just to have my favorite features back. Any feedback would b rad guys, are u experiencing this too? Or is it an isolated issue with just my phone! Again thanx XDA ?

now that's what I call a sexy theme
I love the theme, but my browser now crashes upon startup. In the middle of rebooting and fixing permissions and so on... I'd really prefer not to wipe just to have a different theme.
...Yeah nothing worked. Reverted back to my nandroid backup.

Same issue here everything FC. I couldn't connect to the mobile network either. Had to revert to original. Like the look just doesn't work yet, will try later when bugs are fixed.

Looks excellent but it seems that it doesn't work for a few people... I really want this but I'll wait for an updated version.

I have tried flashing the file on my G1 and the MyTouch with freshly formatted SD cards and a fresh wipe and it works perfectly, that being aside from my 2 beta testers that test everything before it goes out.
I tested flashing it after the ADP file and CM and before rebooting and it worked fine. I also tried flashing it on a phone that had been running CM for about a day and it also flashed fine all by itself.
I would suspect that there is something left over maybe from another theme or tweaking. If you flash the CM rom first and then flash my theme you should be fine, and worse case scenario if it doesnt work just flash CM again and you're still fine.
Don't worry its probley some stupid people that have stericsons lockscreen or something and don't know it I had stericsons lockscreen so I just wiped flash the recovery image then flashed cyan's latest and your dope ass theme. thanks. one little suggestion could you theme the music and settings control widget I hope thats not asking to much sorry if it is.
Works great, just one problem though. Pairing in bt and when receiving a file phone reboots.
As the number of positive results has gone up I decided to flash this theme.
And I'm glad I did.
I had no idea there was such a strong black/pink motif. I love love love it.

But... red and pink clash, could you possibly change the drawer trash icon to either pink or green?

Only 2 thoughts: The "H" in the notification bar means hsdpa? I miss my 3G symbol *g*
Also, the battery... Really imaginative, but the "classic" battery looks more like an android phone...

I don't think that the force closes are related to this theme... I use this with the newest cm build without wipe and it works perfect... I also tried it with a complete wipe and same result, everything works great.

some confusions i have regarding installation of themes.
1. will the phone memory gets erased when i install themes via recovery mode? ( will the apps n the data on the phone gets formated?)
2. my hero is android 2.1. i want themes which appear like the nexus one UI
so please guide me to find UI theme like the Nexus One
3. to be other the safer side, im even downloading the Hero RUU roms of SouthEastAsia from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=559622
if i later get back to this RUU rom, will i be entitled to updates to the phone?

Ill try to answer your questions as best as i can.
1. No if u install a theme, your apps wont get erased. However, make sure that you install a theme that is compatible with the rom you have on your hero.
2. The nexus one ui is the standard google ui. You can get a similar homescreen from the android market called launcher pro. As far as i know there are no nexus one themes for hero.
3. You will recieve updates if you switch to an official rom.

This is a theme which is a mix between Dbilliters Naked Simplicity theme and the Blue Miui theme from Donhu (which is based on ZDuneX25's Miui theme ). I have also added some stuff as well, mainly transparent settings background. This is kind of a WIP, and it's not as locked as ICS, so if there is something you want me to add or change, tell me and I will see if I find it suiting for the theme
Install instructions
1) Place zip on SD
2) Boot into recovery
3) Wipe cache and dalvik
4) Flash zip
5) Reboot
Changelog:

16/1: Fixed blank screen issues, changed buttons layout, added compact version.

Well, are you using this rom? The themes only work for this rom, not any froyo rom, i specified it in the ICS theme OP at least

Yet another theme for Zeus rom.
It is based on Boeffla theme for Samsung Galaxy S i9000, but it is a bit of a
many different things combined together theme. I use it for some time now
and i just post it in case someone else wants to use it. Here is the original theme for Galaxy S: Boeffla theme

it is not uninstallable but you can always make a nandroid backup if you don't like it.or if you don't have a backup just flash zeus v6.3 and 6.32 with wipe cache and dalvik cache.no need to do factory reset.

new zeus guys!!!!so i tried v6.33 and v6.33b for the O version and the theme does not create any problems.it is expected as the 6.33 update is kernel related.please keep in mind that Huexxx needs feedback from people who have his rom unthemed.so if you want try it for sometime unthemed and then flash the theme.
the procedure is the same.i flashed 6.33 with wipe cache/dalvik cache and then immediately the theme.cheers!!!!

There were some lag in v6.34. May be you should wait I am using v6.33b(O). Is it possible you to show us which icons are differed in each version? My be we can make a better decision without installing both versions.

look the pics that i posted for version 2. i changed default icons like phone contacts camera music to the square icons as shown in the pics.the thing is that i cant't upload many versions because i don't have a premium account in mediafire and there is a limit..but i don't think icons is a problem since you can use adw icon packs from market..
EDIT: I implemented the changes for 6.34 and tried it for v6.34o but since it is laggier i ll wait for a more stable update from Huexxx in order to release a new theme.If you liked the v2 icons please share your opinion.or if you like the stock zeus icons i ll leave them as they are and make a different one for me
May be you can make icon packs, if anyone wants to use them, just flashes which he wants to. I like the first version more.
Dont worry just reflash the zip after updating to 6.35,no lag i think has nothing to do with that its just theme,hey gsal can you make transaparent statusbar like it is right now but transparent,and i dont know if its possible a flashable zip to uninstall theme...Love you theme
For the transparent statusbar no problem but i can't make a flashable zip to uninstall the theme. You can just flash zeus again with cache and dalvik cache. No data wipe needed. But i am very busy these days. I ll telease a new version in 2 days maybe with default zeus icons. For the statusbar i ll make a flashable zip just for the ones that want it. A modified systemui.. cheersss! ! !

Fairly new to this Rom flashing lark, so far have installed and am really enjoying Paranoid Android 2.16 but I would like to change the system font, as I don't like the one it comes with. Have tried a couple of Font Installer apps from the market, but they only lead to it not booting and having to reflash the rom.
I thought the point of custom roms was so you can change things to have them as you want? Why deny us this one (surely) simple thing?
Any help would be appreciated

I even have bought an app that installs additional fonts to the system.
And it's not even a root app... selecting a font is just a regular android feature.
Luckily i still can use my Rom Toolbox Pro App.
But with the other app i can select the font normally via settings...
and i don't have to reboot...
