Because the ROM is only tested on GT-S6500D, only this variant of Mini 2 is supported by me (since I only have this variant of Mini 2).
Functionality can be broken on other variants.

How to install:
1) You must have custom recovery installed on your device. I recommend ClockWorkMod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2156194
2) Download ROM .zip
3) Download Google apps
4) Put both .zip files on your device (either internal or external storage)
5) Boot your device into recovery mode
6) Make nandroid backup (if needed)
7) Wipe data/factory reset (not needed if installing above previous cm10.2 build)
8) Format /system (only if the previous ROM is CM 10/10.1)
9) Install the ROM .zip file
10) Mount /system, install Google apps
11) Done.

currently it's stock samsung kernel with updated kgsl drivers. Yes, it will be helpful.

And faster installing ROM, I've flashed CM10 in hmmm 20 sec ?! idk but faster than with CWM5. And it let you install zip via ADB(still untested) I'm going to test it now.

The recovery builder is now building version 6 of the recovery. The main changes are as follows:
Backups are much faster. 4-5x faster. (Bug fix due to excessive status updates of the UI and new backup technique)
Incremental backups are smaller. Way way smaller. Only 15-20MB each for each additional backup of a ROM. This is done using a new tool I wrote to dedupe the files between incremental backups to eliminate duplicates.

Why touch !? In my opinion that would bring you only fail menu touches so its a no from me for the touch verzion..

For the installation over sideload, I confirm IT WORKS. Thank you TheWhisp
You just setup the android SDK, install ADB tools, download your favourite ROM (currently mine is CM10 xD) and install it over ADB.
What does Install update via sideload do?!
You don't have to put your rom or flashing .zip file in your phone or SD card.
If you have it in your downloads folder (in linux) you just connect your phone to sideload on CWM6 and write in terminal (on your PC)
"adb sideload <.zip_file_path>" and you have it
Example. You have update.zip file in your downloads folder, so you write
adb sideload ~/Downloads/update.zip
So yah, i tried it, and as I said, it works falwlessly
PS. There are like NO bugs so I think this is going to be released tomorrow or so. Let's see what TheWhisp thinks

It's compatible with all .zip files I have tried yet. It doesn't matter which zip file you try, it should work as long as the zip file worked in the previous CWM5.

CM7 and CM9 are under development...
I can also build ROMs based on these beta releases, but there is no use of it due to bugs..
First of all we have to get a bug-less CM, then anyone can build from it..

Thank you for the new rom. It's just a shame that Cm7 has such bugs that doesn't allow you to make a daily rom. Who would use a ROM that doesn't have wi-fi?

I agree, its a really good effort. But not many will use it as it has those cm7 bugs were plagued with. Again good job and good work.

In a sense, I agree with you, but I think even they is malfunctioning, but they deserve the parallel development of CM. In addition, there are people who are willing to use the ROM, despite the failure. Then why not give them that opportunity? I think the issue is needed and I will update it according to the development of CM and Chinese ROM.

I also agree. Despite the bugs, cm7 roms for ace i can be used for daily purpose. It is just a question of preference here.

Interestingly, I check it out and see where the error occurred. I have everything working well, maybe a bug in the installation. Should be set so as cyanogen.

Just installed. Rom is hellish smooth, and I cna't believe my phone is still android. Congratulations for the port. Just one thing, keyboard gets a little tiny when in landscape mode. Otherwise, this is my daily rom forever!

Yes it is normal. Cyanogen team forget to add M12 in changelog and for M12 they fixed POODLE issue (Google what is POODLE issue)

Yes this is that upgrade. I created separate thread to be cleaner than in old thread
Also for status 7 error, try Philz Touch Recovery (contact me via PP for flashable zip) because I use that recovery for last few months and there works fine

Camera works on my phone because it is based on good old stable CM11. camcorder is only thing that doesn't work on our phone.

I installed your rom from stock howerver the camera doesn't work, the camera app will crash when i try to open it. I've done all the wipes but the problem still persist.
EDIT: i tried miui camera and it seems to work however it asks to insert an SD card to save the photos when i've already inserted one. Do you know how can i solve this problem?
EDIT2: I pinpoited the root of the problem, every camera app i tried could initilise the camera sensor however it couldn't save the photo because it doesn't find the sd card. I mounted it from the memory setting and the problem still persis. I dunno how to solve this.
EDIT3: at the end it was the internal memory which is not mounted. Unfortunately i'll hv to look for another rom.

I think that on my phone camera doesn't work 'cause firmare. This ROM is for s6500d. I have once without "d". And also, the repo that @Arathon describes

I have the model 6500 that is plagued with the internal memory issues, I resolved all the problems by installing the cm rom made by bleached.

Hm I remember, TheWhisp CM11 doesn't recognize storages. But I think that CM11 isn't totally stable

I am using this since it was released. Very good. I have some lag but I have switched to ART and I think this is the problem. The problem with storage could be fixed by installing pit file from ODIN. That is the way I fixed the issue. Can the developer tell if ART is working fine or Dalvik is fine.

@Arathon and @Antox97 I wroted on first post: this is made for S6500D and it isn't tested on S6500 (non D) version. Problems with memory can be fixed by using boot.img from bleached CM11 build and replacing it in my build. If I got some more spare time today I should make it (no_internal version) and upload it tommorow.
For @toncata - ART is sluggish and slow on devices like ours. ART is primarly made for Nexus 5 and newer devices which have enough internal memory and more RAM. I use Dalvik because of Xposed Framework ( for Instagram downloader and AppSettings modules), but I tested ART (needed because of development one application for college) and that is my personal opinion.
Also for all you, tomorrow I should update #1 post with Philz Touch CWM download link, so you can try it if CWM gives you Status 7 Error. No_internal version should be also in first post.

Since the Samsung Galaxy Mini is consider obsolete, it been awhile since i use this device so...
The CyanogenMod Website is dead, so there no way you can get the rom (the stable version), this now and age.
For nostalgia sake i'ma gonna re-upload the this old Galaxy mini rom know as "CyanogenMod 7.2"

Instructions:
1. Install Root.zip in Stock recovery.
2. And then install CWM 5.2.0.8(squadzone).zip.
3. Reboot and return to Recovery.
4. Wipe data and cache partition.
5. Install CyanogenMod 7.2 (Tass).zip.
6. Install gapps-gb-20131214-signed.zip.
(Optional wipe cache and davlik)
7. Reboot System now!

It seems I wasn't the only one, who tried to have some good time recently with this device.
Finally a working cm, and good to know about the archive. I tried to build it from source, but I was missing some vendor files, and without wifi / cam, the experience wasnt complete.
Currently having fun with building. It doesn't take as much time as on my A1. Maybe can reuse this phone in a rpi/arduino remote control project later
