No OS, stuck on HTC load screen

Hey everyone. I know I totally screwed up. So I got my Phone today. HTC One from Sprint. I went to unlock bootloader. Success, but when I went to install a custom rom I went to do a wipe, I guess I wiped the wrong thing. So now I don't have a OS, and stuck in TWRP because it won't load. Is there a way to push the rom to the phone and install from there? Or do I need a RUU? Or best bet is try to get a new phone?

You will have to Adb push vipers rom in twrp. Lmn if you need some more help

I have ran into a similiar problem except I cannot get into TWRP I used the all in one tool and it starts to open for a split second, then I go into a bootloop. I have tried to flash TWRP again bust still no luck. I also reinstalled htc drivers because when I try to run boot into recovery command from the all in one tool, it tells me device not detected. I think this is strange since it finds it to flash twrp but not anything else. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The majority of the people having this isdue are using the wrong AIO. Theyre using the international and not sprint. There are two aios on the download page

So installing a custom rom will fix my problem or does a rom run off the stock OS? Or does it use its own OS so once I can install it, it will work?

I'm using the Sprint AIO.

Easiest way is to download HTC One (Sprint) All-In-One Toolkit V1.0 then see where is says Extras there is an option thats says ADB Sideload a ROM just load the ROM is really simple just read the instructions carefully.
Make sure you have proper Drivers Installed and you are on the screen of ADB Sideload a ROM on TWRP

You should try another USB Port/USB Cable make sure you have the HTC Drivers installed, I would try this:
Disconnect Phone try another USB Port/USB Cable
Reboot phone into Recovery
Open All-In-One Toolkit V1.0 Select Extras ---> ADB Sideload a ROM
On TWRP go to Advance ---> ADB Sideload (Select Wipe Dalvik Cache/Wipe Cache)
Select RUN on ADB Sideload select ROM and the ROM transfer should work (you should see a sideload.zip file thats the ROM)
If that doesn't work probably someone with more knowledge can help you.

I had a similar issue and had to install my rom with the ADB Sideload option.

thanks for the reply guys but adb sideload is not working for me...i just keep getting the mound data error. =\

I as well am getting a unable to mount data issue which is not allowing me to push anything using adb sideload...and when using the all in one toolkit I got a message saying
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
error: closed
granted I have been awake for about 26 hours now so i may have just missed something but any advice would be very helpful
EDIT - Figured out that you need to do wipe of pretty much everything by going to wipe>advanced>and selecting everything, then do a adb sideload, worked like a charm

Unsure if I should be hijacking this old thread or creating my own, however I'm having trouble.
I am in a quandry as follows:
6.11.980.7 is the current version of both boot rom and OS me and my partner are currently running on our M7's. I unlocked our phones @ htcdev and installed CWM as replacement for the stock recovery but now want to revert to full stock.
I have a backup of my factory rom but not the recovery. I came across a thread that had a pretty exhaustive list of stock recoveries but I cannot find one for the version we are running. My partners still has 6.11.980.7 ROM on her phone but CWM recovery so I cannot update her phone to the latest OTA as it fails due to the CWM recovery that has been installed.
Can I please have some help regarding this? Can I install a version of the recovery that does not match the ROM or would that be a bad idea?

no you cant flash a recovery that doesnt match your phone, however there is possibly another way.
when your phone downloads the OTA, select install later, plug your phone into your computer and pull the OTA from the phone to your desktop, its in the downloads folder on your internal storage, its just a zip file.
Open the zip file, inside there you will find another zip file called firmware.zip, open that and pull out recovery.img, flash that one, then try and update your phones again.

Unfortunately not Tried that and CWM did not accept the zip. It said cannot open zip, installation aborted...
Not sure if CWM can be somehow forced to accept the zip? I assume the img file has something in it that is different to other custom rom files?

interestingly the OTA file had Optus in its name. So would I be able to somehow restore an Optus stock recovery?

???What??? it doesnt sound like you read my post properly, you cant flash the zip like that.
first of all you need to restore you backup (skip if youve already done this) YOU MUST BE 100% stock to run an ota.
then download the update (OTA), select install later, with your phone still booted into your rom, plug it into your desktop computer or laptop and copy the OTA to your PC desktop its just a zip file, when your internal storage opens on the computer, just look in the downloads folder, its in there.
open the OTA.zip, and then open the firmware.zip using something like winRAR, winzip or 7zip, whatever it is you use, and extract recovery.img, you need to flash that recovery.img the same way you flashed cwm.
so boot your phone to the bootloader so it shows fastbootUSB on the screen, and with the recovery.img in the same folder on your computer as adb and fastboot type these commands one at a time into an elevated command promt, wait for each command to finish before you issue the next:

Unable to find storage partition to mount, TWRP, after BL unlock

Heyo all,
After the bootloader unlock that was just released I tried following these instructions to revert to stock 4.4.2. I was almost there until I started flashing the system.img. I did it twice after the first time took well over 30min+ just sitting there writing. I restarted the bootloader and fastboot and tried again. No luck.
Now after getting into TWRP, I am unable to mount the device or have adb see the device. I get the error: 'unable to find storage partition to mount to usb'.
How should I go about fixing this?

Tell me that you used "Mfastboot" to flash system.img. You can not use regular fastboot to flash system.img....

I did. I followed the instructions in The Complete Moto guide for reverting to stock.

4.4.2. All I was doing was factory refreshing the device by reflashing 4.4.2 again.

If I get can get a ROM onto the device, I think I can flash it. I can get into the bootloader, I have tried using both CWM and TWRP.
I just can't mount the SD card. I think if I can get ADB to work, then I can do it.
The only problem is that adb won't see my device. I hear it beeping when I plug it in but when I type 'adb devices' it doesn't show anything.

Alright I got ADB to see the device in recovery. I can't get it to mount but I am now sideloading a rom. Let's see if that works.

...adb doesn't work in the bootloader. Only booted into android w/USB debugging enabled.
Check the md5 of the SBF file you are trying to flash.... If necessary, re-download it.
I also agree with @KJ that trying RSD Lite is a good idea.

Good choice, best ROM I've found mixed with xposed/gravity box. Word of advice make a nice fresh backup so you can always get back to what you have now, even save the backup file to your hard drive so you'll always have it if your phone gets wiped.

My device is in same condition. How to solve it?

So I'm guessing your stuck in the bootloader. This should be a fairly easy fix. I'm not available for Skype at the moment but as I say should be an easy fix.So lets get some prerequisite's out of the way first.
Do you have access to a pc with working adb/fastboot?
I see the bootloader is unlocked, is it running a custom recovery and if so which one (name and version please)

ya i have fastboot, but to be honest im not entirely sure if it has a custom recovery or which one it would be if it does. it was several months ago that my dad bricked this phone and i only just found it stashed away recently :c

Once your up and running if you want to go back to stock you can use this Nandroid Backup http://www.htc1guru.com/2013/11/stock-backup-3-23-666-1/
Alternatively you could use it instead of the Rom in my other post but the push is a little more complicated. Where as once the device e is booting you can just drop the nandroid in the correct folder using MTP on your pc.

the file size is correct in the screen shot, 9184 .. same as mine

so the phone already has clockwork mod installed, ive been trying to sideload the stock zip and after about 5 mins it gets to 100% but then fails :c

yeah that's why we all tell you to flash TWRP
try > adb push rom.zip /sdcard/

the phone dosnt use sd cards, just tells me "error closed" if i try that command

Your device has an Internal Sd card. But that stock zip I'd not a Rom, you can't flash it like a Rom. It a Nandroid Backup so it needs to be restored using TWRP.
You need to get TWRP to flash, try updating your your adb/fastboot. You can check your current version by typing

to flash twrp boot in bootloader/fastboot usb mode and flash trwp recovery:

fastboot reboot-bootloader
then boot in recovery and use adb push like the others suggested before:

LINKS WERE WORKING WHEN I POSTED THEM, DOWNLOAD AT THE EARLIEST AS MAY BE THEY WONT WORK WHEN YOU NEED THEM, SO JUST DOWNLOAD AND KEEP.
STEPS TO RESTORE NANDROID BACKUP THROUGH TWRP:
- REBOOT AND ENTER TWRP, PERFORM A BACKUP (THIS WILL CREATE A TWRP BACK UP FOLDER WITH DEVICE SERIAL NUMBER IN THE SD CARD)
- DOWNLOAD AND EXTRACT THE NANDROID BACK UP FILE

- SWIPE TO RESTORE

What is the exact problem you are facing when flashing the stock file. PLEASE EXPLAIN FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDNG.

NB: I AM ASSUMING THINGS AND GIVING THIS INFORMATION, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS AS I DONT KNOW THE EXACT PROBLEM YOU ARE FACING.
Make sure device is 100% battery.
1st try this:
1-Download this file: [ https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_1zjuazXSqbQ0p6NWtvRk9OMzA/edit?pli=1 ] and install in Windows (Run as Administrator).
2-Open Command window and type:

cd c:\adb
3-now on your device use Vol keys to choose and power key to select, and choose FASTBOOT
4-now download the attached file boot_signed.rar (extract the file in C:\adb folder)
5-type in the command window:

fastboot flash boot boot_signed.img
5-type in the command window:

fastboot erase cache
6-type in command window:
Code:
fastboot reboot
IF THIS DID NOT WORK, THEN TRY THIS:
Download this [ https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934555508 ] file and rename it to 0P8BIMG.zip and place it into the SD card (MMC Card), restart the device and let it boot into the HBoot menu.
Reboot device from the boot mode, if the device automatically reboot into the boot menu then it will start flashing the file automatically.

However, please forgive my ignorance in recovery/backup terminology (I hope it is not just me) but I get confused by the use of 'Nandroid' backup, Stock Rom, and .zip and .img files for flashing.
I have successfully used TWRP to flash the NostromoPop ROM, but have not been successful with any other .zip file supposedly a Stock ROM.
I have been hoping that somebody could put a rooted Stock ROM so that I can try it as a way to get around the KitKat blocks on writing to the SD card for some of my autosync apps.
Am I making any sense?

Hi,
As I understand you cannot flash a stock ROM with customer Recovery, as far as I know you need stock Recovery to flash a stock ROM, I remember trying stock ROM on TWRP but it failed, could be due to some other reason, I read somewhere it has something to do with file signatures.
As for SD write fix, you need to have root access other than that there is no fix for it, rooting with SuperUser Binary... I myself did want to try it now that I am back on stock but then I am greedy for Marshmallow (if they could fix that Loud Speaker issue) I am all in for Android M, I tried to get in touch with people on the Cyanogen Forums but no luck as I have not yet received verification email, tried so many times, no luck and as it seems there is no Marshmallow development on HTC One Mini 2....
I will wait and see how it goes...
If I am correct you can keep stock ROM and flash SU Binary and get root access and then install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.sdfix to get it done with, it ought to work, haven't tried myself...

The recovery image you gave seems a little broken, but the backup worked...thought I recommend a factory reset unless you want the system language to be weird...

Which recovery image have you used, I have flashed the newer version successfully, yes the backup worked and has non-English language as default.

I maneged to reflash twrp from android, ok these is what happened, I flash it as a recovery image with twrp, when I reboot into recovery later then it just showed a picture of my phone with a red triangle icon in it, after a while my phone resets...and goes back to booting from the main installed os...

Hi,
I believe you flashed a recovery with another recovery, which I think is not the right way, the right way is to use the command to overwrite TWRP with stock recovery.

Just wanted to know if you are having any issues with low audio after restoring Android backup from TWRP, I feel my audio is way too low and cant be heard just if I am outside my room..

I didn't have any audio problems, it could just be you being used to cm's 3rd party BoomSound replacement

Well that would exsplain why some elements of the stock recovery remained after I reflashed twrp with a app on my phone, e.g. it fixed the image I get when I hook my device up to power when it is turned off...before that it would just boot me into a unusable twrp homepage

I tried the 0P8BIMG.zip on SD card method and that did not work either.
Also, I thought the RUU file is meant to be an executable not a zip file. I'm confused...

I doubt its corrupted, which OS are you running currently ?, when I tried it, it failed due to the installed stock ROM being newer than the one being installed and since I have S-ON I cant downgrade it...
You can Nandroid Restore the stock backup, I have personally tried and it works....
Another way to do it is to have the Nandroid Restore and then use Sunshine to S-OFF (as sunshine only works on stock or near-stock ROMs) and then flash with 0P8BIMG.zip, it should work then, just a thought...

Its a signed boot file, meaning it flashes successfully should the device fail to boot or stuck on boot or in other words if the device does not boot and remains on HTC, this flashing this should solve your problem.

Hi all I have been directed here from another thread as I am looking to place a stock rom on my htc one mini 2 without bloatware, I have unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP but the stock rom remains the same all I want is to install a rom via TWRP if at all possible. Is the 1gig one ok for that or will i need to completely put the stock recovery back on and the phone is unlocked to all networks if that makes any different

Hi,
Its not possible to flash stock rom via TWRP, plus you need to have S-Off.
The only way to go complete stock is to restore Nandroid Backup and then flash stock recovery.

so is this the nandroid back up of a stock rom that I can use with the latest update for use with twrp and when I mean stock rom I mean a rom that has not been majorly altered to class it as a custom rom. I.e still has sense and no additional apps added

Yes you will have to restore the Nandroid Backup, this backup is completely of a stock ROM, no edition, however it does not have some apps like the Calculator, Flash etc for some reason.
However I found the missing apps from here: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-corporation/

Excellent much appreciated for this right, so I need to first copy the nandroid backup to my Phones root and run TWRP and restore using the downloaded nandroid yes?
if yes could I please have the steps to put the stock recovery on with ADB commands as I really don't want to brick my phone (Yes I know you take no resposibilty etc) just happier to have as least the correct file names and adb commands.
And last I just copy the new stock RUU to my phone and install?
You help is as always greatly appreciated as no one seems to be ddoing anything anymore for this phone
