My Z1 Problems - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone, here's my first post in this great forum and I'm happy to be a member of it.
My phone is Xperia Z1 C6903 (LTE), I recently rooted it and unlocked its bootloader. I flashed it for about four or five times to KitKat 4.4.2 and its build number is 14.3.A.0.757, but two days ago I figured out that when I press the power button, it takes about five seconds more to show the unlock screen, and even it takes till 7 seconds to show the caller name and number.
At first, if anyone faced an issue like this and solved it, could you please help me?
Second, I heard that one of this forum ported 4K from Z2 for Z1 and Z1 Compact, and it needs Deodex Rom.
How can I install or I don't know it's exact verb, how can my phone have Deodex Rom?
That's my phone's info:
Xperia Z1 C6903, KitKat 4.4.2 (14.3.A.0.757), rooted with unlocked bootloader, has CWM, has Busybox.
Any other info you need?
Could anyone help me?

It's in the same first page of the Stock Rooted Rom which you probably have used to root your phone. Download the Deodex flashable package and flash it from recovery and clean dalvik-cache.
Post 1 HERE
Probably this will also help your problem of the delay of the screen as you have to wipe Dalvik-Cache.
Start from deodexing your Phone and check if the problem persist.

In call number not being displayed

I upgraded the Xperia Z to 4.2.2 OTA (rooted and dualrecovery installed)a couple of days ago. Everything is fine with the exception of one thing. During a call, the phone doesn't display the numbers that are being pressed, for example, when I dial into a conf line, to enter the conf code I cant see what numbers are being pressed. Does anyone else have the same issue or is it just me. I dont want to reset the whole phone only to discover that its an issue with the actual firmware.
Appreciate any help.
Cheers

Backup your files and
repair it with Sony PC Companion, or Sony Update Service or flash another FTF file. (wipe everything) Do a clean install.

Gyroscope/camera fault

Hi everybody, I have a trmendous issue on my Z. When i try to launch camera app, Z reboots. This is not a problem fo camera app, because I've wiped data and cache, but nothing to do. I enter in secret menu of Z with *#*#7378423#*#*, all tests pass but if I try gyroscope or compass test, smartphone reboots. Any idea to solve the issue? Please help me
ps Phone is out of warranty.
First of all try hard reset , then repair phone with Sony PC suite, finally if you have a lot of time try different ROM, also did you drop the phone?
I have done hard reset, now i flash new firmware. I think that some water has entered into phone But all other things works well. I use secret menu *#*#7378423#*#* and when i test camera, for few seconds, the camera works, then phone reboots. The same occurs also for frontal camera.
Where is located Gyro/Compass in Xperia Z? On main board or are they single moduels?
Gyro/Camera Issue
I have the same issue. Just started after root and unlocking bootloader.
In secret menu it says no gyroscope.
Fix?
Hi everybody
I also have this problem since with my Xperia Z since last year,
On stock firmware or custom based on sony firmware and z's secret menu, loading the camera and gyroscope would always cause reboot.
On AOSP/CM based roms, the camera will load only once, the second time would always cause reboot.
This happens even when i had changed the camera hardware module
But yesterday i decided to try and flashed the latest firmware (C6603_ 1271-2229 10.5.1.A.0.283 R1D _Generic SG.ftf) via flashtool, and the camera works flawlessly.
hope this helps.

z1 reboot, language selection VERY time

hello,
i'd like to ask you for some support since im unsure what to do now.
i got a z1 from a friend, flashed the ftf for the c6903 built 14.4.A.0.108 generic DE and rooted it with easyroot.
now when i reboot the phone it asks every single time to apply language, and thats kinda annyoing.
afterwards i installed RomAur and still have the same problem.
everything works fine so far, allthough i didnt test alot yet.
googled alrdy and found that the ftf file might ve been the wrong one, if so which version would be working?
there should not be a branding on the phone since i checked service info and all values were 0 (with '*'*7378423'*'*)
if you need further information, tell me.
#bump
no ideas?
may not be a major issue but kinda annoying still
searched for it at the offical sony support forum and found a similar problem.
someone stated that he solved it by doing a factory reset but i wonder if a fresh ftf installation would be in general the same.
am i wrong with this one?

[Q] No idea what to know with my xperia Z

Dear all,
I have a question here (may be a noob question) .
Just after one week used, my xperia Z detected no sim card and wifi not worked anymore.
My helped forums suggest that this may be because of IMEI lost.
I have no idea what to do and so tried to flash a official one which is 10.1.A.0.283.
The problem have not being solved, and now it only boots up to
black screen with notification bar and back key for just 3 sec.
Then it reboots and reboots again.
Plz guide me what to do and what the problem that is.

[Q] please help me, tried everything :(

Hi everyone, I really need some help with this otherwise my sp c5303 is scrap...
From the beggining, I buy a xperia sp on the three network in the uk but it accepted any sim
Unlocked bootloader, no problem
Flashed loads of ROMs with no issues.
Settled on stock deodexed ROMs. Had a happy phone.
Tried to update to the latest maybe 6 months ago, had a bad flash, bootloop.
Then wiped and reflashed previous set up.
Problem is, now the phone doesn't recognise my sim, its relocked the boot loader, simlock is all set to [] 0.
And that really sucks.
I have root access still, but no recovery.
Eventually I have regained access to recoveries and custom ROMs won't accept my sim either... Otheriwse works perfect
The phone is flawless, I have even taken it to be repaired physiccaly there's no faults but it won't accept any simcard. I have trawled the forums and nothing looks promising.
I have been using a moto g for a few months but its... Annoying, and the screens shattered. And it has problems with loudspeaker turning off and on rapidly...
The thing I am wondering is, could it be that the ftf file I used was from another country? Because I can't find one from the uk to try, although I expect that will only really change the default language choice.
Anything else I can try before I give up?
Please tell me its something achievable!
Thank you.
