You can use one of my older themes or if you know how to edit apk files - decompile systemUI, go to folder xxhdpi and change nav bar icons, decompile apk, sign it and manually put back to system/priv-app.
Also, try to search a bit on themes and apps section, there was one thread how to do that using zip themer.

Thank you, im a total noob when it comes to modding and tweaking, does your older themes require deodexed rom?

To be honest - I'm not 100% sure but I think all custom themes require deodexed ROM.
Name of that theme is/was blue KitKat so search a bit and you'll find it...

for the navigation bar, I woudl recommend installing xposed fw and downloading Xperia/AOSP NavBar Buttons module or neXus navbar. No clue on the status bar though.

Share your framework!

I just rooted my legend, and I found that the status bar icons all have a background (that is, they are made for the Sense status bar which has a gradient). Therefore when creating a black status bar, all the icons still have that "sense status bar" look
I am now using a gingerbread status bar, but I was thinking it would be nice to have a thread where everyone shares their framework so it's easier to get some good icons!
I'll start:

hopefully this helps someone!
It looks beautiful, thank you , btw what's your weather app?
It's beautiful widgets with gingerclean clock and boca weather skin
To share the framework files wouldn't the person need to be running the exact same ROM to make it look the same?
well at least you could extract the used image files and rename them if necessary
i had to search very long to get all the gingerbread-icons i needed for my LeeDroid ROM and havent found all of them yet still
Yes, the point was for other users to extract the icons and rename them if necessary to fit their own framework. If you have status bar icon packs, you're welcome to share them too
See this thread, post #23 for the framework.apk and twframework.apk

I'm a little bit noob, but does the framework file change the statusbar? I don't want to have the Sense statusbar anymore.

Are you on an HTC phone? If you are, the icon is located inside the PCSCII.apk file in /system/app/
Thanks again for help! I've changed the icon now, but how do I get it inside to /system/app again? I bet I've hav to use adb/pull -something, but I don't know how to do this? Would you mind to give me a link or something?
Been working on a custom theme for the Huawei Ascend and this thread is helpful. Thx.

Hi all,
I have been looking for Espresso Rosie or Desire lockscreen flashable zip, after a few tries I couldn't find any working file, so I decided to create one for Villain 13.
It is a Desire lockscreen, also Espresso Rosie style mixed together
ALWAYS DO A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE APPLYING ZIP FILES.
Download and flash this file

Flash via recovery, and enjoy
PS: If u like my battery percentage and other icons, download and flash this file

hmmm....newbie questions, how to get back to the original VR13 icons? forgot to do a nandroid backup before flash to your icons.
how did you make the icon mods?
flashing the icon pack.
Yeah, but i want them in orange, so they go with my general theme, so that was why i was curious on how he made it

Just to confirm, no problems with Elelinux's 2.1 - as expected, it's all Sense. Remap using Metamorph also works, with old Rosie buttons that can be found on this or VR forum:
Though that left app drawer button now looks droopy

[mods]Status Bar mod for "Topogigi's 1.4", reduced clock size, semi transparent etc

[mods]Status Bar mod for "Topogigi's 1.4", reduced clock size, semi transparent etc
Seems most of us like a Semi-Transparent Notification~
All versions here will do the following..
1. Resize the Clock to match with the size of Date in status bar.
2. Semi Transparent Notification
3. Circular Battery Mod Included
+ Plus something~
Read the file name and grab the version best fits your need.
i.e. "semi_music" means Semi-Transparent notification with Music Controls.
It's better to combine the framework into one zip.. but the file size limit here...
===========
How to Install
===========
boot into CWM, flash the framework.zip, flash the mod, reboot
! Nandroid backup first for safety..
Please kindly post a screen shot if it works for you
Thanks for this. I'm outside right now. Will try it out once I get back. Cheers.

It's made to cope with my modified framework, so it should work if you firstly flash my circular battery mod for 1.4
Did not try it myself, but I see no reason why it should not work.
A... so that's the idea. (I thought I just needed to flash this straight.) Will try flashing the circ batt mod first...
No need to flash circular battery. Can confirm it working with 1.4

But yeah, confirmed working on 1.4. wooot!
thx you squide,
but can you create semitransparent notification area?
50% black and not full transparent.
thx for your job again!
Although I'm happy with the current mod, I'd be happier with a 50% (or 40%) black transparency too.
It doesnt work for the stock 20E GB rom. Hope squide can provide a mod
and pls a version with notification toggle

A little question about this mod: does it remove the DoCoMo toggles if they are installed?
It seems like the SystemUI gets overwritten.
I was thinking about making a mod according to the instructions for the DoCoMo toggles but couldn't get the APK Tools installed properly (my Mac lacks some files).
The optimum solution is to get a transparent version of the DoCoMo bar.

[MOD] Transparent status bar for Galaxy Pocket Plus GT-S5301

Requirements
1-Samsung galaxy pocket plus 5301
2- Rooted >> How to root by blearreaz0n >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2291865
3-Deodexed >> How to deodex by Gliston+++ >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2668643
4-"Xposed installer" and "Xposed Tweakbox" and modified "android.policy.jar"
Downloads
1-Xposed installer >> http://www54.zippyshare.com/v/91387842/file.html
2-Xposed Tweakbox >> http://www20.zippyshare.com/v/9842508/file.html
3-android.policy.jar modified >> http://www44.zippyshare.com/v/26945532/file.html
Instructions
1- Take a CWM backup first so if any thing went wrong you can restore it
2-Install Xposed installer.....open it ... install xposed framework and reboot
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3-install Xposed Tweakbox....then open Xposed installer and active the module
4- Do like the picture says.....and reboot
Now you have transparent status bar but on lock screen still black
So i have modified a jar file to make it transparent on lockscreen too
5-With root explorer or equal Copy the file "android.policy.jar" to directory /system/framework/ and overwrite the original one
6-Reboot and wait about 5 min for the dalvik cache
Now you have a transparent status bar on lockscreen too
Important :- the file "android.policy.jar" is ONLY for Galaxy Pocket Plus 5301
