Unlocked
TWRP Recovery 2.5.0.0
I unlocked my phone and successfully flashed ViperROM 1.1.0 onto it. Unhappy with the ROM, I went to try Paranoid (4.3) and I screwed something up along the way. Now my phone boots up, the carrier information is gone so I get no signal what so ever, wifi doesn't work and the phone restarts at random. I tried to use fastboot to lock the bootloader and go back to stock, but I keep getting a "12 signature verify fail" when I try to flash with the factory RUU for my phone. If you can point me in the direction of a relevant thread or post helpful information in here, I'd be very grateful.
Edit:
I guess I was just using the wrong SPRINT RUU for my phone. It's all good now, reverted to stock and now I'm on Official Android 4.3

Hi All,
I know there's a lot thread like this but my is different because I didn't even root or unlocked my phone. I haven't done anything to my phone. One day it decided to crash itself so I restarted my phone and now it's stuck at quietly brilliant.
Mine is locked phone and I didn't turn on my usb debugging mode so I couldn't get to my phone. I tried factory resetting, wiping memory or cache, recovering and everything I could find on the bootloader screen. But nothing worked at all. I don't know what to try now. It's still stuck even if I left it on at that screen for a day.
Please help!

so all stock - no unlocked/s-off etc?
take it for warranty repair.

problem you have is that in order to try and fix it yourself, as a first step you'll need to unlock bootloader.
if you do have some sort of hw problem with your device unlocking bootloader might cause you problems with warranty repair.
if it's stock, and you haven't been fiddling around with it, send it to HTC to fix. easy.

what you've got there is exactly how a stock device should look.
if you can connect to the device using adb, you can most likely unlock the bootloader.
once the bootloader is unlocked, you will be able to load a custom recovery and flash custom roms.
if your problem is a software one you might fix it by installing a custom rom, but if it's a hardware problem, HTC might just argue that you've voided your warranty by unlocking the bootloader. guess that's your call.
check out these useful guides on how to do the various stuff http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45432325&postcount=2
I have searched the forms and I haven't really found anything, unless I am looking in the wrong places.

This is what I get whenever I power up my phone. I have never tried to install anything out of the norm on this phone.
It will not boot into recovery and it will not factory reset. I keeps going through A bootloop.
My phone was close to dead, it started to restart a lot and kept saying installing update. It did it for about 20 mins so I forced it off and tried to boot into recovery to see if something was amiss.
Now I do not know what to do... If there is another thread you can direct me to that would be awesome. Any and all help would be amazing.:good:
So, I'm having a BIG problem. My phone keeps boot looping, recovery flashes for a second then reboots again. And on top of that my phone wont connect to my pc. It says usb device not recognized, so I cant do anything with all the threads I've looked up so far, hoping someone can help me with this issue otherwise this phone is just a paperweight/flashlight lol

So I guess your PC is running Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 right? You'll need W7 or linux with hboot 1.44
Hi. A few weeks ago, my HTC One M7 just restarted on its own and went back to its original state but with a pop-up "unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped." and all Google apps won't work anymore. So I decided to Factory Reset and found this:

my brother tried to fix it but gave up because the laptop cannot get reliable detection from the phone. so i hit factory reset again and TWRP booted. All data erased. Now, I can still access the hboot screen and recovery, fastboot, etc. but my HTC is only booting to go to Recovery on TWRP.
Any help and guidance to resolve this is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
