Hello @iodak. I've installed your 9.95 kernel over LG Stock rom and the fm radio stopped working. The app opens but when I hit the power button nothing happens. Here is the log. Is any workaround? Is it suppose to work? Thank you very much for your kernel.:good:
That kernel has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth bugs on stock. These three chips are connected that's why FM also doesn't work. There's no workaround, use an older version.

Maybe this is just me but most builds I install don't have a working wired headset. I have tried searching for a fix, but the only thing I have found is that it could be a kernel problem that has not been fixed due numerous kernel updates. Does anybody know of a fix that can take care of this problem, or know of a NAND or Clockwork build (preferably desire HD) where the wired headset works.
Yes, i have this problem with the wired headset.
Now with my Bluetooth Headset (Calypso BT) buttons are working perfectly
My conclusion is that the problem is.. the sound card driver =)
Correct me if i'm wrong, i'd be honored to see someone correcting me
when i use Gauner1986 ROM with ROM's kernel or MDJ kernel 9.2, 9.3, my Wired headset buttons are working fine, but when i upgarde to 10.3 oc MDJ kernel, it does not work anymore
I just tried the new CoreDroid rom (Jan 24) and it doesn't work. I also tried the revolution 2.3 rom and no luck.
+1 for this problems... Only Gauner1986 HD 0.3 is Work... Others HD or Z Build... does not working at all... so, i can't anwser my phone calls when i driving my motorbike... and control music player :-<
Gauner's kernel supports this function. MDJ's does not. It is that simple.
If you want your buttons to work, use Gauner's kernel.
The core Droid roms work great with wired headphones I'm using the supersonic with no problems

+1
CoreDroid - the wired headset doesn't work.
So the question is what is included in gauner1986's or older kernels that is missing or modified in other kernels (like MDJ's 10.4OC)?

I think you're right. If you stick with a Cyanogen 6.1 Froyo build it should work. I am running NexusHD2-Froyo v1.9G NAND by tytung and it works fine with PowerAmp in case that helps.
CMYLXGO's BlueTopia v1.0.6n and the rest of his should work if you are looking for a Desire HD base.
PRJ kernel should work too...

Right! i am using CM7 with mdj kernel 10.4 it not working, then i change the kernel now it work like a charm .
Hi guys, I'm new here and don't have permission yet to post in the devel forums but here goes...
After switching to the v20l kernel from v20i I am unable to get tethering to work.
By this I mean that I can connect to my phone by USB and WiFi, but the connection is either super slow (ie: < 1kb/s) or not data is transferred.
The phone meanwhile has perfect internet access from within (whether tethering is or isn't enabled).
This was never an issue when I had the v20i kernel.
I am using the v20l [RC9]/[Stable][SR2][KERNEL][GPL] HorsePower 2x eXtreme 24BPP specifically.
I thought I might have been the wifi driver, but USB tethering is no different...

I have stock v20L + SR1 and ppv3 installed and no tethering problems.
I can watch YouTube and surf on my tablet tethered with my optimus 2x.
maybe it is a v20i problem ?

That's just it, in v20i it works perfectly, amd youtube works in both v20i and L.
I once had an issue with tethering. I just couldn't. I understood that the issue was because I used I different kernel that the stock in v20l. If you use a v20l kernel, you should use a v20l rom too.
Hello everybody,
this beautiful roms doesn't support good old fm radio for some reason, is it possible to make it happen and how?
I'll try to load a titanium backup of the radio app from cm7.2 but doubt this will work.
I am sure many other folks want this so any ideas-help is much appreciated.
I already tried with the spirit app but I have no sound coming out (tuning & rds are working thought).
Same here...

Its a pity..these roms are great, but lacking fm radio is a big drawback at least for me.
We could find a way thought...
Have you tried loading a ti backup of the radio app from another ROM? This is not enough I think but its worth trying...I will as soon as I meet my brother(we have the same phone, different ROM)
It won't work I suppose.

These ROMs are based on ICS. Even on CM7, the app enables bluetooth (BT and FM are on the same chip) as we don't have the code related to the radio.
So for the moment there's no FM on ICS because ICS is too different from GB

Wiui 2.5.25 (which I am currently using) is based on cm7 which is based in GB, besides that and as you said already radio & Bluetooth are on the same ic so when you are using the fm receiver Bluetooth is enabled even on the stock rom.
This issue is not ics related.

If it was the lack of just the radio app I think installing an app like spirit should got the job done, anyway finding a solution is all I care about (not the reason they didn't implement it).
If someone actually knows what files are missing...it would be great to share some knowledge.
As I said before I'll try with a ti backup and let you know but something tells me there's more to it...
Hey guys
So i am currently on the official ICS 4.0.4 V30A ROM by Civato 's awesome Flex Icer..
Got a bit bored of the LG things and all and wanted to try out CM10 (since 10.1 isn't stable). All i need is STABILITY.
As in no bootloops and Radios working perfectly etc (just the way this ROM works)
I haven't seen a clear cut answer till now regarding the stability of CM10 on SU660 KOREAN 2X.
If any of u have tried it out please let me know ur experiences and the stability too
Also tell me regarding Paranoid Android
One more thing
Will i be able to revert back to the ROM by mere flashing of ROM and the Kernel used with it?
Thanks

I don't know on su660, but I'm supposing it's at the same state as its brother p990, which I have.
If you're looking for stability, stick on stock ics. Cm10 is not totally unstable, but far from being totally stable. Hdmi doesn't work, and for Bluetooth you will have to flash pengus kernel. And that kernel is great, but bugged since it uses ramhack, so apps with hard gpu use crash, e.g. HDR camera every time you try to use it at 8mpx. And it makes the device reboot! I also had this behaviour using flipboard, dlna server or playing flash video on browser.
I make all these things systematically on dm1.4 with civz 2.3 kernel, and my device stays without a single boot for more than a week easily. This is stability.
Do not say "thanks"; just press it under here.

Thanks alot bro... Will DM ROM work on the SU660 by using Civz 2.3 kernel for the SU660?

You're welcome. I think it'll work, just do not forget to flash the su660 kernel before rebooting or you'll get bootloop

but WIFI when o2x is in idle mode, in setings is "work wifi when phon is idle" is not working wifi! why?
Is there any ROM (w/o IZS) running Android 4.0+ with FM radio. Or is anybody working on Spirit Audio mode for us, or do you know aplication to run fm radio...?
Thanks
Afaik...only stock roms, and stock-based roms.
Spirit FM doesn't work, as it is listening on the wrong pin (it's listening on the microphones), and it's no longer being developed on our device.
