Greetings.
I recently attempted to install Sprint's OTA update for the stock ROM on my phone. However, I had TWRP installed, so the update could not complete. I installed the stock recovery, but the update failed, stating that it could not find one of the .apk files. After that, the phone boots to the lock screen, but displays nothing but a green HTC logo on a white screen when I try to unlock the phone, repeatedly displaying "Unfortunately, Qualcomm Enhanced Location Services has stopped." After about 2 minutes on this screen, the phone reboots, with no user input.
I have no usable Nandroid backup (lost the password), and don't know what to do to make my phone usable again.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. One other peculiarity I noticed, when researching my issue, is that "fastboot getvar version-main" does not return a value. This doesn't seem normal to me. Could something have gone wrong with a firmware update as part of the OTA?

I'd say download a custom rom for temporary use like cm or pa and find the stock sense 6 rom for your phone and flash when you find it.
sent from a stock AT&T Galaxy S III LTE

I just downloaded and installed CyanogenMod, but now the baseband version and IMEI are both "unknown", so I can't connect to the cell network. fastboot getvar all still shows the proper IMEI, however.
I was able to find a Sense 6 ROM and flash it, and that worked. Thanks.

I tried to install trickdroid 6.0 rom and it kept rebooting as soon as it started up, then I realized it was not supported for sprint yet.
Based on latest 2.16.709.1- Thanks Football / chrisch1974
Android 4.2.2 with Sense UI 5.0
Fully compatible with all HTC One Models
Removed all debug code from /app and /framework
I expect this to mean sprint is included as well. I only found out sprint wasn't supported in the comments.
Since I couldn't get it to boot without restarting after like 15 seconds, I tried to flash other roms but every rom I tried, I had the same problem. I am now trying to flash the RUU Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.10_RUU. My bootloader is relocked, when I try to run it through the all in one tool, I get a failed signature check 12. I tried to install the RUU through the .exe on PC but the program crashed trying to acquire information from my phone.
I don't really know much about how this stuff works, but did my radio version or something get messed up when I tried to flash a different carrier rom? I have tried searching online but I can't seem to find a solution.

maybe a bad download? I've ran the 1.29.651.10 RUU so I know it works...
i'm having problems too after installing the international roms too even tho they say supported. now i know i'm not the only one.
alright, after trying the setup.exe again this time it didn't crash and I was able to restore factory settings. My computer was probably the problem, I would have ran it a second time last night but the RUU program said my phone was less than 30% and wouldn't run it, so I just charged and went to bed. Just have wait until one of the 4.2.2 roms are compatible with sprint
Hello,
I have a stock Bell HTC Raider, locked, unrooted, basically never touched, all original software and state. It is updated to latest OTA software.
I'm trying to wipe it and reinstall the stock rom because it is starting to act funny and I want to start from scratch.
I am trying to flash the version 3.5 bell RUU, and it will see that I have version 3.38 on phone, and RUU is same version 3.38, and when I click "next" it will go to screen which says "sending" and it will just hang there. The "sending" progress bar just keep incrementing continuously but nothing else happens. the phone is on the white HTC logo.
I gave up after 2 hours of this. Tried several times. Phone info is not wiped, same old ROM is still on it with my apps and everything.
I also tried to put the PH39.zip file for rogers on the card (can't find one for bell) and it gives me a "wrong CID, flash fail" error.
I'm running windows 7, I am admin on the PC, I also ran the RUU as administrator.
I installed latest HTC Synch, and I can open the phone as a USB drive and copy data to it, but I don't see it in HTC synch.
HTC synch does automatically launch when I plug phone in, so it sees something, but when I go to the "home" tab it says that no device is connected. I did select "htc synch" as the connection method on phone. USB debug mode is on.
Any ideas of what could be wrong?
Is there any working link for the PH39 zip file for bell?
each umaxces
Update:
in the mean time I bit the bullet and unlocked the bootloader (still S-ON), put WCX recovery on and flashed the cyanogenmod 11 *kitkat) rom.
That had the low call volume problem, so I flashed Holic's 1.3 ROM (back to ICS) which so far works perfectly.
So I am in fact able to flash other roms in recovery but I can't get back to stock using the Bell RUU.
If I ever want to return to stock, what do I do?

Might want to check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2013122 which explains:
How to run the RUU
1: Make sure your bootloader is re-locked and by using the fastboot oem lock code
2: Plug in your device and make sure you have the drivers installed ( or HTC Sync )
3: Run the RUU specific to your carrier and wait for it to load ( could take up to 20 min depending on your PC )
4: A box should popup on your screen and a progress bar will be shown ( wait )
5: Once it's done loading follow the steps to return to stock.
6: You are now unrooted
Been years since I did that. KitKat low volume? Are you running the latest nightly? http://www.chronic-buildbox.com/nightly/holiday/ Best rom I've tried and I've tried em all. (Can't wait to see what pacman can add to what Albinoman is doing an awesome job with)
I managed to return to stock using the RUU without problems.
I didn't do anything different this time, it's just that I wasn't trying to flash the stock ROM while already on the stock ROM.
Maybe that doesn't work?
you can close this thread now. thanks.
Hello all,
Every ROM I have tried to flash has come with some type of problem or another.
I have a SIM locked T-Mobile HTC One with a PTel SIM inside. I unlocked the bootloader, rooted the phone, and installed TWRP. Then, I downloaded several ROMs and tried to flash them (after doing wipe data and cache). Here are the specific problems I have run into with each ROM.
OneDroid: The screen keeps popping up "Unfortunately, Android Keyboard has stopped". After second boot, in addition to the other error message, the screen keeps popping up systemUI has stopped. The whole thing is just unusable.
Android Revolution HD: I am unable to obtain any phone signal.
ViperOne: Same issue, no signal.
InsertCoin: I can't get a proper HSPA+ connection due to incorrect APN settings. I have followed the directions on PTel's own website, but was unable to obtain data. It's a shame because I like this ROM the most of all.
MaximusHD: The only ROM to have worked properly.
I am sure I have done something wrong somewhere. I guess I'll just live with MaximusHD.
MaximusHD is completely stock with very minor changes. For other ROMs you have to select (or flash additional stuff) that you have T-Mobile device I think. But it is better to have their threads searched for "T-mobile".
I have a Sprint HTC One which is having serious issues. It will boot to the lockscreen but when I unlock the screen all it shows is the HTC logo on white background, then a little while later it will reboot. I have done an RUU flash yet it is still the same. I have flashed the stock 5.05.651.2 ROM yet the phone remains in the same condition. Please can anyone help?
Thanks in advance for any help.
OK. There's some improvement. I flashed CM11 Nightly with GAPPS and it booted. However it says Baseband Unknown and restarts randomly. I have flashed 1.01.20.0904_2_5.05.651.2_radio.zip from TWRP recovery but still same issue. Can anyone help here please, maybe some other way I can flash the radio? Perhaps the baseband has been the issue all along. I really need help with this; at my wit's end...
Thanks all.
Update: I ran the new 5.0.2 RUU and it boots fine and phone works ok, but still no baseband/IMEI/MEID. I have flashed a radio in recovery but still same issue; no baseband/IMEI/MEID. Any help? Anyone?
Hi Guys. I have searched the forum but havent found anything that applies to my problem. I have the HTC One M7 sprint version. I have been trying to sim unlock it but the phone came on an android version higher than 4.3. This is one of a batch of 4 so at this point I cant even remember the original os. My problem is that I need to be on an android os lower than 4.3 to unlock. I have been following the tutorial here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2586704 .Only roms at kitkat or higher are stable enough to use and not even all the kitkat ones are stable.
The issue:
The phone boots and the rom loads but I am unable to do anything with it. The lockscreen shows as normal but anytime I unlock the screen I get a white screen with HTC in green letters. On some roms I am able to access the settings menu but that is it. It just stays like that forever. On some roms it will stay on but most reboot in roughly 2-3 minutes. Most of the roms that are stable go into a handsfree activation loop where I cant get past that screen. I read a tutorial about deleting the htc setup apk but that works only some of the time and then the roms are mostly unstable.
My phone is S-Off and I have attempted to downgrade to stock 4.1.2 using the official ruu.. The process was successful but the stock os is unstable. Reboots every 2-3 minutes. I have flashed the firmware separately and then run the ruu. I have run the ruu on its own. I have done factory reset with both stock and custom recoveries after running the ruu.
I have tried pretty much every sprint rom I have come across and still no love. I've been at this for nearly a month and my HTC Rom folder is about 25gb if a list is needed I am willing to provide it but I really just want to be on stock 4.1.2 or a sense rom lower than 4.3 for the purpose of unlocking the gsm sim. I have been told that the issue could be hardware but then I have roms that run without issues except that the phone isnt unlockable in that state.
