[Q] Samsung Galaxy Note 3 bluetooth pairing issues Please Help - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Galaxy Note 3, rooted and running hyperdrive Rls6
Right out of the box (stock) I wasn't able to pair with the Jawbone mini jam box or any bluetooth headsets the devices wouldn't even show in the device list.
Rooted phone and put custom rom on and still have the same issue.
Yes I have connected all devices to 2 different S4s and to a Galaxy tab 3 they pair and connect without an issue
I mainly want to connect to my Jawbone mini jam box and Plantronics m55 headset

[Q] Wired Headset Problem? None working.....

I use to use the old wired headset that came with my Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant (Bell) but it got damaged. So I have been trying to replace it. Ive tried 3 or 4 different wired headsets but the only one that works is the official Samsung Headset. the other ones either you will hear them and they wont hear you, or the other way around.
The samsung ones are a bit out of my price range.
Im wondering if Samsung made it so you need to use there headset's or theres some kind of setting i need to play with.
Firmware: Stock Froyo Bell.
Any help is appreciated.

[Q] No Bluetooth Audio on headset

Hello Guys..I moved from the HD2 to the Galaxy S2 and all hell broke loose. The phone connects and pairs with bluetooth headsets and the calls come in and go out as normal but no audio can be heard. I have tried it on 2 headsets, 2 cars..Same result. I have tried pairing and unpairing, soft resets, turning the volume up etc and most all other things. Please help. However the media audio works. In the settings both the phone and media are checked.

Brand new Galaxy Note N7000 with ICS: bluetooth woes

Hello Note forums!
I got my blue N7000 today all shiny and new. As soon as I connected to my home wifi it prompted me to upgrade to ICS, which I did. I then did the rootgalaxynote June 2nd root method and added CWM. Rebooted and everything was peachy and awesome (and I'm a previous S2 owner!)
The only issue I'm really having is the bluetooth. It connects to all 4 of my headsets more or less (some only for phone audio). But it only pairs with my car's head unit. I'll explain.
My n7000 pairs just fine with my Eclipse CD5030. However, I cannot get it to then connect for audio. It just hangs. The head unit is fine - it worked with my 3 previous bluetooth phones withouse issue - HTC Hero, HTC Evo 4g, Samsung Galaxy S2... the only difference is this is the first phone with ICS, the previous phones were all 1.x or 2.x and worked great.
I looked up the details of the CD5030:
BT 2.0
A2DP v1.0
AVRCP v1.0
I would imagine the note is backwards compatible with these relatively old versions. Is there a workaround or is this possibly a bug?
Thanks in advance guys.

[Q] Bluetooth headsets

Hi,
I am a newbie, when it comes to wireless devices. I just got me a s3 mini.
I want to know if I can connect wireless headphones through bluetooth. and if so, any advice for headphones of reasonable price? (buying location: canada)
I am currently looking at this , but I don't know if they will pair with laptops and s3 mini (as it says Ipads) - i have contacted tigerdirecct though.

Bluetooth problem in Samsung Galaxy Note 5

My new Note 5 (SM-N920I) has problems with bluetooth. I can not connect to my car, nor to my headset. However I can connect to my Sony Vaio and my smarthwatch Gear Fit (although sometimes it is disconnected) .
From what little I could see , there is a problem with bluetooth in Note 5, but still no solution.
Someone knows a solution to work properly ?
Thank you

I had a problem too. I could connect but the range was very short then it would cut out. I replaced it.
With the new one, is rhe problem gone?
Bluetooth overall is much better for me than on my Note 4. I've not had trouble connecting to the six devices I use. There's some funkiness with my Gear S when reconnecting via BT after being connected remotely but that could easily be Gear Manager and not the phone. Range does seem a bit shorter but reconnections are a lot faster and more reliable. BT on any device is a big YMMV because of all the different devices being connected.
