Hi all - I purchased and recommend...
Screen/Skin Skinomi TechSkin $13 Amz
Went on better than any screen skin I have ever used. It is not damage proof, but it is 'soft' and hasn't scratched so far - a fingernail will either glide or dig in and then kind of heal/settle out - so no long scratch like a hard skin would have. Very precise cut and cutouts.
Case/Boot Amzer AMZ94446 TPU Hybrid Skin Case Cover $15 Amz
Love it - feels good in my left hand, not too thick, bezel shows, protects screen, bezel, back and skin. Slight overhang / forward projection (1/8th) so screen does not touch upside down on table - also just covers screen lift area (bezel/glass joint) or skin edge so I'm not looking anymore.
Case/Sleeve Mivizu Nylon Sleeve $12 eB
Almost perfect - fits great, pocket is slim and tight, just for notes and such - not a keyboard cell phone or as in pics. (When open) top or UP is obvious, so novice will not pick up and dump tablet out if unzipped. Fits fine even with boot. Good full rubber bumper system inside for padding.
I'm rough on toys, this system takes care of everything except 'stiffness' protection (for being bent in a satchel or such) - but I can't stand a book style case where I have to hold an attached cover. I'll just have to pack it between books or such.
Sent Amzer pocket-flap style sleeve back - top too tight to go over N7 safely.
Hope that helps someone!

This is a great case for Note2. With blue and yellow color combination.
The inner side is also covered with soft leather case to prevent from scratching.
Further more, you can also put 3 credit card and some paper inside for daily use.
Please refer to the photo below.
Im thinking of getting the leather g4 when it comes out. but i also want to put a case on the g4 so it doesnt get f**ked up when i drop it. but i was thinking, if i do get the leather back g4 and i put a case on it, then whats the point of having a leather back if i cant show it off because of the case that is going to be blocking it from view.
Is there any cases for the leather back g4 yet?
I don't think so. If you want a case and a leather back I suggest you look into getting a leather case.
Sent from my GT-I9505G using XDA Free mobile app
Most of the cases out there are NOT compatible with the leather back.
If you want a leather back, get the G4 with the plastic back and buy one of these cases....

I did buy it but as of now it's in another country and i can't actually access it. The description claims it will fit the leather back.
I'm not sure if that was a one size fits all design or sculpted precisely for leather backs.
They had a promotion dropping the price to about $7. Don't know if that's over.
Also don't know if the company is reputable at all. This particular amazon page doesn't show up on google search results soo... idk

Some dude's video review: https://youtu.be/gmrwKSB_1ys?t=372
Note however he isn't reviewing the Leather LG G4
I am waiting to hear back about this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VY35YVC?ref_=pe_623860_70668670
this one says Compatible with LEATHER LG G4
Ringke FUSION for LG G4 fits all Leather, Metallic, and Ceramic Craft backs. Be cautious when putting on or removing of the case, as it may damage the leather back
side of the phone, if not careful. Ringke is not responsible for any damage to the leather back. : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=011080yt-20
there's this case reviewer in youtube, he use the brown leather G4 with spigen cases, and they all seem to fit well
but there's no telling the long term effect on the leather though
I've got the cognac leather, with a Versus leather case and I can tell you that it will scratch or tear the leather back near the edges when you are trying to remove the case.
My case is creating tiny scratches on the screen, just to make everyone aware the plastic around the "S" window is the culprit.
Maybe Elephone could consider changing the design of the case to resolve this issue.......

got same issue... i placed the glass protector... now is the glass protector that take scratches.... btw i dont suggest anyone to buy the original elephone cover... is just a piece of **** useless ... and made very bad ... the ingenier behind must be a complete idiot!
I bought an original flip case but it doesn't close properly and the phone doesn't seem to fit in 100%.
Trying to use the side controls with the official flip case drove me nuts. Now using the silicone cover that came with the phone along with tempered glass screen instead - a massive improvement
The screen glass is not scratch resistant ... poor.
I have discarded the flip case, with the window, for three reasons.
1. The plastic surround to the window was scratching my screen , the outline of the window has been etched into the glass.
2. It is much easier to use the clear plastic backing case, for answering the phone, general use and removing the card tray,
The flip case is a very tight fit.
3. I wonder whether the magnet in the case, which is in very close proximity to the card tray, is affecting the SD card and causing dropping of the connection and resultant corruptions.
Since I started using the clear plastic case, I have had no SD card problems.
I had issues with the tempered glass and the silicone cover.
Switched from always using the original flip cover. It was too annoying, the volume plastic thing broke off and had to use some other plastic bit in there. Also in a car mount its just in the way.
The tempered glass i had on was damaged putting on the plastic case, had one in spare and so far that works. Ordered some other tempered films just in case.
Received this today. It is the official OEM protective case made by Samsung. I used the same on the S8 Plus and it was my favorite for keeping the slim profile on the phone.
The best part of the case is the tackiness of the back. It's plastic but it sticks to your fingers which helps with slipping
In the video, you can see how the phone is practically vertical but it stays stuck to my fingers.
in case it doesn't load on the forum
