Hey guys! How ya'll doing?
Well, few days ago, I had problems getting Link2SD to work with CM11. But that seemed to be impossible. I tried scripts such DarkTremor's Apps2SD and Cronmod INT2EXT. It just didnt work. And, yesterday, I came across @tliebeck's app: SDFix. And guess what? After running the app, everything (L2SD, A2SD, I2EXT etc) works as smooth as butter.
So if you people are facing similar problems, I suggest giving that app a try.

Installed everthing as per instructions on my SE X1 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1156421
First time starts smooth - after doing CWM recovery of Honeycomb..v3
Wifi works.. browsing works.. etc.
I powerd off using the power off option..to reboot and installed gapps.
Now on its keeps rebooting anywhere during booting process.. sometimes it would come to the honeycom moving screen and then reboot.
I reformatted and tried everything again - 4 times now.
It is stable when gapps is not installed??
Any other way to install gapps? other than by CWM recovery method??
Or am I doing something wrong here..
I am very new to android installation.. please help
you should ask this in the rom-thread, not here. if someone comes to "question & answers" about x1, he doesn't expect questions about a half-ported OS, right?! (it's a winmo-phone...)
but yeah, you're doing something wrong. never had this problem when using honeycomb v3. which gapps-zip are you using? the one needoo uploaded?
anyway, better head over to neopeek and get neofroyo v0.1, it's much better. looks like needoo has a new version coming too, based on neofroyo.
Thank you for your reply..
Newbee to XDA so no permission to post in those threads...
However evrything is working now...wifi, apps.. maps.. etc.
hopefully once I am used to getting around these things will take ur advice and try neoFroyo V0.1.. Sure
oh, i always thought that 10-posts-limit only affects the "real" dev-forums. sorry.
I was checking out Live Wall papers from the Market.. Nothing seems to be compatible with HoneyComb Froyo V.3
Does anyone know any that may be compatible..
Ofc it does drain your battery..
simply put best android for x1
neofroyo has wifi issue and not even close to as sexy as honeycomb v.3 is
maybe your installing wrong gapps i never had that issue either
what kernel are you using as well
i found that the only kernel the worked perfect was ygge's turbo
No wifi-error on neofroyo with ygge-kernel. Midnight's kernel works too, but battery-charge isn't shown yet. But it's fast...
Neofroyo is faster than honeycomb, but let's see what needo comes up with next.

No wifi-error on neofroyo with ygge-kernel? I have tried many times. But wifi never works. Can you share your kernel to me?

don't use the wifi-fix provided on neopeek. (i never did and it still worked fine; that's my old setup, i switched to midnight's kernel since then)
Thank you.
Is there anything that can make the battery last longer on Android??
While x1 on Windows can last for three days Android last only one day?
CM9, AOSP, Slim, AOKP... all of them suffer the same issue.
I'm not talking about running some scripts to overcome it (because all have some issues), isn't till now any rom without that bug?
Thanks!
Found but has workaround.
I'm not sure that I found same issue as you found or not.
My scenario is:
When update titanium backup some time it show low space left on device or something like space not enough so the workaround is :
use root explorer to delete your_app.odex in my case is titanium....odex at /data/app
if system app go to /system/app
then i can install app without error.
I also found this issue with another app but not often.
Hope this help ^^.
Elite has a datafix version of the rom which is reported to work well.
Using GT-I9000 my sent Tapatalk 2 from.
I will check Elite, but I'm quite skeptical about it.
No fix in CM9 nighties?

There will never be a fix. There's only a certain amount of space avaliable on the NAND.
So you can:
Install fewer apps
Move some to SD
Change Gmail synced days
Use one of the "fixes"
This is pretty much why samsung isn't upgrading our phone.

Try doc's master.
OK. My problem is that when I restore apps that I backup from one ROM
to another, sometimes I get force close on those apps with data. Especially,
now, from AOKP B39 to MIUI.
I usually backup app+data of user apps only. This occurs maybe like 50-70%
from one ROM to another like Slim > AOKP, AOKP > MIUI. I recently get this
kind of problem much more than ever.
I tried searching everywhere. Troubleshooting in TB site is already cited.
I followed its instruction of ticking migrate data and that didn't work at all.
Also tried fixing permission, but no luck.
Every installation is clean, wipe all and also run Lippol's Ultimate Kernel Cleaning
Script.
I found that there are many users out there facing this problem as well.
Is there any solution so far?
Thanks in advance.
Also try in the settings/trouble shooting....tick follow all symbolic links, this may help but migrating between roms has always been as bit troublesome in ics

Some apps change according to the version of Android you are using.
Check if the app you restored supports the version you are using.

Coooool ! It's working now.
Thank you very much.
Hello guys,
First of all, I've been using XDA for quite some time as a resource to Rooting and findind great ROMs and Such, but I've never contributed, so please be patient.
My current problem is, I love my Galaxy Ace. But it doesn't run many apps and is knida slow etc. So I was using the Ultimatum, and it was awesome, but it started getting too slow, plus it doesn't run many Apps because it's an older Android Version.
So I decided to get me a JB ROM. A nice one. And started looking. Then I tried INT2EXT and.... Nothing happened. I started going through the ROMs I liked the most, but I can't get INT2EXT working.
Now before you think I don't know what I'm doing, at the same time I flashed JB to a Xperia X10Mini and used INT2EXT, and it's working perfectly.
So, is there any JB ROM that works with INT2EXT? Is there a better/faster option, that will work with any JB ROM? Or which other solution do you guys suggest?
Also, I think it would be great to have a Pinned post on General or Apps or whatever with a list of solutions like INT2EXT and ROMs that work with it etc. What do you guys think?
Thanks a lot.

brother first see the steps that i am listing
1. Boot into recovery
2. Backup your current rom
3. Flashing the script:
>>> mount data
>>> mount system
>>> mount sd-ext
>>> format SD-EXT (YOUR EXTERNAL PARTITION, NOT YOUR SD!)
4. Flash the script
5 Done, Reboot!
if you dont wanna use intext try link2sd and also remember for ace use int2ext+ and not anything else for better results and about jb roms i have also tried many of them and both link2sd and int2ext+ works perfectly in most of them
also try cm9 by tomorrow land ace it is very smooth and stable
best of luck
Which rom are you using?

For me INT2EXT+ is working flawless with CM 10.1 (modded by Mardon) + EXT4 partition + INT2EXT+ script + Fly-On mod (if you're interested in using it). Look at the photo attached

P.S. I'm using a Sandisk Ultra class 10 micro sd.
HI guys,
Just sharing this information here might it will help to somebody....
its been a weird experience>>>>> i read/posted/commented on THREAD's relating to X8 reLoop/ReBooting/on-off problems.. now i faced that problem tooo
here is my story: i put my x8 on charging after an hour(battry fully charged) turned on wifi and when i opened My Gapp suddenly phone reboots automatic.... afterwards(assuming the reboot caused due to RAM consumption) but HELL it started rebooting after every 2 mints..:crying:
i checked the RAM, cleaned SOME ram memory uninstalled some apps(kept 50mb free)>>>problem not solved<<<<< then re-flashed MY ROM(ULTRABEAM GB ROM) still not solved>>>> re-flashed my KERNEL(nAa-14) ddnt worked either....(did full wipe/dalvik/factory reset)
i thought this might b cause due to virus>>>formatted my SDCARD again not worked...
and then i found myself at a stage where if i try installing others ROM's its get stuck at"copying system"/wiping system
some roms got stuck at formattingdata etc....
SO before going to final step(STOCK FIRMWARE)...
stupidly idea.. i changed my sdcard copied the ROM... flashed through CWM///////
>>>>>atlast stupidity worked problem solved<<<< no reloops/reboots.... HUH!!!!
this sounds stupid... but this solved my problem after wasting my 4 hours...
Please help me out?
Hey guys, it has recently occured to me that UltraBeam GB is ported over to the Xperia X8. What I don't understand is nobody even told me or PM that it has been here all this time...
I'm the creator of this ROM, and would like to know who has ported this ROM over to this device. Please link me the thread on where UltraBeam GB is, and hopefully I might start working on this device.
Thanks!
P.S I mostly care about the thread on where UB is, if you can give me that then I'm greatful. Cheers :highfive:

Never heard of it.
The only references to this rom in x8 forum is the two posts above and this post: forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50063152&postcount=433 (I guess this clears up who ported it )
Either it wasn't posted here on xda or for some reason it got removed.
And btw, this forum is pretty much dead. If you don't own the device it will be a little difficult to make something on par with the existing roms.
