homescreen icon size limits

wheres the xml located in the launcher.apk that determines the 48x48pixel icon size limit on the homescreen? how could i edit this to allow for bigger icons?

[Q] Change Bookmark icons, but have the size match stock icons?

I want to change the bookmark homescreen icons. I tried better cut and desktop visualizer. Both change the icon, but they're about half the size of a stock app icon.
So is there any way to change an icon, and have it match the size of regular apps?

I am trying to make a adw theme but when i apply the theme, the size of the icons are coming relatively small...
I had made icons in 72x72 size
Plz help me how to change the size... what files to edit to change the icon size
P.S. :- Icons become even smaller when dropped onto dockbar

Custom Icon Background Transparency Problem

Hey all,
Hope you can provide some assistance. I got an all-white icon set, and modified a few .pngs in Photoshop to add color to match my theme. Backgrounds were transparent, displayed transparent in Photoshop, still opened as transparent after I exported them for web as png-24s with transparency preserved. However, as soon as I drag the icons over to the root of my storage card, my phone (HTC One) displays the once transparent backgrounds as black. What gives? I've tried using Photoshop 7, Photoshop CS6, and GIMP with the same results. I'm I missing something?

Did u find a solution? Kinda having the same problem.

is there any way to change samsung statusbar to the google statusbar or even xperia's
full change not color not background all thing in the statusbar change

If you know how to locate png's and what names they are. You can just swap images. Like swapping icons, but only the bar png.
