@Shlikstr Thanks for your contribution, much appreciated. It would be a tad bit better if you could post some of these images on the thread so the users know what they're dealing with.

It's not optimal size, but google gave it to me.
I'm new around here but figured I would fulfill this request (plus 2 more!). Found the images pretty easily and just resized them to 960x800 for Thunderbolt.
I can't post links since I don't have the 8 post count yet. Hopefully this isn't against rules but it is on my wordpress site (pucuck.wordpress). If anyone wants to link the files from there go ahead.

Hey,
I've taken ~GU5TAF's clock widget for mClock and modded it to put the date in as well, like this original MIUI widget:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
My attempt is pretty tame, but I think it works. Here it is:
Right now it's only a mockup in Adobe Illustrator, but this afternoon I'm gonna code it into mClock and try it out. If there's interest, I'll ask ~GU5TAF for permission to release it
All credit goes to ~GU5TAF; I only added the date and day part, and even that was MIUI's work, so I did nothing really
I'm also working on an inverted colours version of the clock (like in MIUI), so once that's finished, that'll be posted here as well
Thanks,
Phil
EDIT: The pictures aren't showing up for me and I have no idea why
Let me try ...

But seriously, you're just telling people where the SystemUI.apk is? Might as well tell people where to find the framework-res.apk too.
Oh, and *facepalm*

Hey,
I browsed the latest cm9 build with theme engine and fount systemUI.Apk and after unpacking it I found it only contains drawable and xml
I guess this can be used to create themes for the new theme engine.
I am away from my home computer so I can't try it but I think my assumption is right.
Let's start the theming!
Since I am away from home I can't upload the apk. It is located at /system/app/systemUI.Apk

systemui.apk only for notification bar and your Android has more than only a notification bar. If you get what I mean.

Hi, I have been trying now for sometime to create my own background for system apps, conversations, phonebook, settings etc etc. All of the apps I have installed are dark apps by @rajeev.
I have looked at verious guides and walk throughs but am still unable to get to grips with how to do it. :'(
Could someone please please take some time out it there schedule to do it for me as a flashable zip useing the attached image at the bottom of this thread. Many thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to oblige.

There's no image in second post
You have to change semc_bg.png (in some ROMs semc_bg_dark.png) in framework-res/res/drawable-xxhdpi/ with yours pict.
Of course you have to use same name.
