Hi guys i installed viperone on my m7 and i got bored with it installed another rom but it didnt work with some of my apps i tried to reinstall viper one and it keeps saying system ui unfortunatly stopped working any ideas how i can fix this?

Wipe system and factory reset before install. Do not wipe sdcard
I hqve done that on twrp but i dont wanna do factory rest as i dont want to lose all my pics vids etc

Your pictures etc are stored on the SD card so go into advanced wipe and select everything except internal storage, factory wipe option in TWRP is also ok.

Ok so I'm very new to this root stuff, and I've been playing with different looks in my phone which is running darchdroid 5.05. I tried to install a clear htc widgets that i found on here and ever since i put the htc clock on my home page it force closes launcher so i cant launch anything from my sense screens!! how do i undo this ??? or can someone show me where to get the original htc widgets to maybe override this faulty clock??? help please
EDIT and i just realized my keyboard is gone too, because i also tried to get a clear keyboard HELP now i'm in over my head!
You restore the nandroid backup that you should have done before flashing the .zip!
so i guess if i didn't do a nandroid backup i'm screwed??? what are my options

Try reflashing the ROM from recovery and then NANDROID..........
ok thanks i wiped everything and reflashed the darchdroid...
now before i did that i tried to restore a nandroid backup i made before i ever installed darchdroid and when it loaded up everything kept force closing on me..... i think it's because the data on my sd card is different... so now if i make a new backup am i supposed to choose nand +ext??

Yes.. If your sdcard is partitioned then you do nano + ext..
And you could of just reflashed your rom on top of what you messed up.. It would of replaced the files you messed up. Since they werent anything special. Then if it didnt fix it, wipe everything.
If your sdcard is not partitioned and you dont use a2sd.. Then its most likely one of your applications faulty and is force closing everything. Back on 1.5 when i didnt use a2sd my policescanner app would force close my phone on reboot. I would delete it and then it would work again.
Hey sorry if this has been asked before i couldn't find it anywhere so there is some problem with my phone i don't know what is happening every time i use to install a new Rom it use to install perfectly without any fc's boot loop errors etc, but from past 2 days i don't know why any ROM i try to install (even the one which i use to work perfectly) will not install perfectly there will be fc's boot loop error wont pass the X when i switch on the phone. Please help its driving me crazy
Make sure your wiping old data in recovery.. and if flashed a new kernal or radio could also cause a problem too

yes i did Wipe data/factory reset ,Wipe cache,Wipe Dalvik-cache but just now i discovered that after doing this and still last installed rom has not been wiped its still there wtf what should i do and yes i did install 2.6.34.1_AVS-925mV_BFS_1113Mhz kernel how do i completely wipe everything???
Umm also do wipe sd partition, then do another wipe factory and cache-.. then do a repair sd then try to flash new rom.. this is what i usually do when i install new roms
still no luck i even did clear storage then wiped everything and i dont use app2sd(ext) i dontunderstand what to do i even tried with the clockworkmod's recovery still the same
sorry man, My only guess and idea is try to flash back to a normal kernal, then flash rom.. only thing i can come up with atm, or you can wait and see if some one that comes up with a better solution
where can i find norman kernel or any kernel which can fix this?
hello my tp is in a loopboot and i cant find a way to fix it this happened because i installed a modded google play app but it messed up my tp and i tried to install gapps again do factory reset from clockworkmod but cant make it work so i need help i want to make a clean install i have the files i used to install cm9 but i dont know if i have to uninstall everything and install it again or if something else please help me with this any link or anything

i tried to wipe/reset to factory using clockworkmod if thats what you mean and the process finished without any issue but the problem is there
the tp is stuck on the cyanogen9 mod boot animation this happened since i installed google play mod by chelpus (also tried installing gapps again)
so now i want to make a clean install of cm9
Try wiping only system and reflash. If that doesn't boot wipe system, data, and cache and reflash.

ok finally i uninstalled the whole cm9 and made a new install and now is working fine even better because before i had problems whith the gallery and callendar but now i dont thank you very much i appreciate your help :good:

I tried going to Settings--<Apps-->Gallery and clear Data+Cache, that didn't solve the problem.

This fix is easy - just boot into recovery mode then go to advanced and choose fix permissions. If this doesn't fix the problem then i think the REMICS rom has an OTA (over the air) solution to fix camera. The OTA should be an app on your phone that you can open up and check for updates and fixes. Hope this helps.

Have you installed other gallery apk? I once did that by aptoide and gallery kept crashing.

Did you flash the Rom recently? Well if you don´t have problems on it you can try to format your SD card going settings / backup&reset / factory data reset plus enable erase SD card ---> reset phone and it will work BUT you will erase ALL the data such as music images photos, though, thats the best option we have always we flash a new rom to start it fresh. If u dont want to erase it all try a normal factory data reset without erasing SD card

This issue has been a pain in the butt rver since i have rooted my captivate. I switched ROMS ( SlimBean,Cyanogen,Gamerzrom) ,Fixed permissions,Wiped Dalvik cache, wiped cache partition, System format, SD Card Format and all... But all it does is fix the camera for just 1 Day. Please provide some effective fix . Im on GamerzRom JB4.2.2 right now.

Sometimes it can also be a rom issue though i dont think so since u switched roms already but give a try here "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2075637" move all the photos and stuff from ur mobile to your pc THEN remove ur SIM and External Card and install that ROM do the 3 wipes and dont forget to install gapps after the rom. When the rom its configured do the factory data reset as i said in settings.
Feedback after u try it since i have other options u could try...

Please pay attention, to Semaphore Kernel. Are two category, with :s", and without. Look on rom and for memory 384, have to use without :s:, and for the rest with, for big memory, the other. The big memory, can break the gallery.

Need your help and guidance on this issue, ill explain what have i have got.
Phone HTC One
Was running Android Revolution HD 51.0 tried to perform an update to 53.0 today but the wipe stage didnt go through successfully kept saying failed.
So i followed a video like this one to make sure i was performing the correct stages which i was but when doing the Advanced Wipe selecting Dailek Cache, System Cache just kept saying E:/unable to format partition.
I have done a backup so not bothered about that anyway.
Obviously i did transfer the zip to my internal storage as last time but as i did a format data it removed everything so now just left with able to boot into recovery no problem and into TWRP but i cant mount anything my laptop isnt seeing my one in my computer? How do i get the rom on it this.

Without adb, an OTG cable with TWRP would be only choice

Just sorted it and managed it with ADB thanks guys !! Now running 53.0
