Tutorial
1°) Download CloudNotifier on Cydia (BigBoss repo)

3°) Go in now in My Services to select what services (apps) you would like to use. In most of cases you will have to enter an API Key/Token that is given to you when you install the app. (For example : Newtifry gives you an API Key whe you create an account on their website)
Click on add a service to select the app you are going to use on the receiving device
The list of all the supported apps and services appears select the one you want to use !
Here we are going to use Newtifry as it is free and compatible with Android ! (You have to create an account with the service ou want to get the API Key or Token)
4°) When it’s done go to the « My Scenarios » webpage
Here you will select what apps the notifications will be sent to when the notification is received by pushingbox
Give a name to the scenario and click on add scenario
Click on add an action to create a new one (You have to add as many actions as many devices you want to send the notification simultaneously)
Select the service you created before
It asks for the title and message of the notification you want to send to the devices.
If you put $application$ for the title and $texte$ for the message you will receive the app and content of the original notification
5°) Get your Server Address (Address+Dev ID) and write it in your iPhone settings
It should look like this : http://api.pushingbox.com/pushingbox?devid=v0123456789ABCDE with v0123456789ABCDE being your device ID
You can get your devID in the My Scenarios webpage next to the scenario you set before.
6°) You can now enjoy your notification on all your devices! ☺
Don’t hesitate to follow me on Twitter (@enyouns) and RT !

For the future !

You have to make a service first with newtifry and then you can do your scenario.
I'm going to post a tutorial to make it easier to understand

To be able to tether your gear to your iPhone you have to enable first tethering on your phone.
Then you have to go in the settings in Nova->Bluetooth->click on the little icon next to name of your iPhone and then click on enable internet connection

Never found a way to do it. The only solution that worked for me was to put a blank ringtone on my iphone

Yes of course, try it - it'll replace the old gtalk app though
I probably deserve to get flamed for this one but....
Is there an indicator somewhere that tells you if the person you are sending a message to is actively logged in? I used to use the chat feature built into Gmail and it would place a green dot next to the people who were online.

Not really. Some people are saying that the greyed out contacts are the offline ones, but comparing between 'hangouts' on my tablet and gtalk on my phone, that doesn't appear to be accurate.
Pretty annoyed by this app. Talk was perfect, and it was a staple of both the desktop and mobile Google experience. And now they've stripped it of some of its most useful features.
It reeks of yet another effort to push us all onto their ****ty social network.

Yeah I agree with you on that one, everything is moving towards Google+.
Which, in all honesty, wouldn't be so bad. The G+ app is really slick, just not much use for me since most of my friends are using other social media sites.
Thanks!!

Its their new approach they aren't gonna change it. Some kind of watermarks appear based on the level of activity - though i haven't figured out how that works yet
I updated it successfully but just cant sign in it failing over & over again, does it not work on 2.3.6 gingerbread?
^yes it does work on gb for sure but are you on a custom rom?

Ya they did take some actually all useful features from us the online indicator to see whos online away or off there device which is nice so ur not waking people up for a video call or message, Cant merge contacts the same any more or delete them as u could with google talk. It seems like there trying to make it like apples face time which has its own ups and downs but is a lot simpler so i kinda understand linking the phone numbers and stuff but why push this BS feature less app out to all of us with android without having it perfect all this did was set everyone on android back not forward so far
Is there a way to install Hangouts without deleting Gtalk? Or to ban this particular update?

Here's the working way: disconnect Talk from Google Play with Titanium Backup. Now it won't update and you won't have to install Hangouts.
Update: no, it doesn't. Everything is back after rebooting.

Bluetooth Tether - for internet

Has anyone with a rooted (gear watch / note 3) investigated bluetooth tethering?
Bluetooth tethering
I was definately planning on trying this. There's a Bluetooth tether root app that I want to load into the gear and then enable Bluetooth tethering on the phone and hope it works. I just got my note 3 yesterday and haven't had a chance to test out my plan yet though
I tried with easy tether and easy tether laptop. Failed

I have tried every bluetooth app in the market, and several not on the market with their companion apps when applicable, but none have proven to work. it is because the device needs a whole new bluetooth stack. if SOMEONE managed to get Cyanogenmod or something on it then, it has a tethering capable bluetooth stack...
maybe google glass sdk has the answer... booth devices uses android, and booth have Bluetooth 4.0.... don't bother with Bluetooth tethering aps on g play... non of them work...

Galaxy Gear ring and vibrate even if the phone is in blocking mode

Hi,
I was wondering if I'm the only one but I noticed a pretty annoying bug (or at least it looks like it is). Let say you have the Blocking Mode setup on your phone (S4, S3 or Note ) from say 10PM to 7AM then no notifications will ring on the phone, in fact the phone is silent. This is awesome and let me sleep in peace (I work in a global company where my inbox never stop to ring) but the Galaxy Gear is still getting notifications and ring/vibrate which is terribly annoying. You have to either manually put it to "Vibrate" and then remove the watch (Unfortunately I feel when It vibrates during the night and it wakes me up) or you have to simply switch off the watch.
Anybody have the same problem? Known workaround?

You know I always assumed that it would work exactly the way you imagined it would; so in fact I was finding it funny the Pebble needed a "Do not Disturb" mode. But, after your post I found the same problem as yours; blocking mode is not respected.
One idea I can think of is to stop the Sync at night, or change the e-mail checking time in non-priority hours if you are using the native E-mail client. Can't think of anything else; perhaps it's time Samsung opened up the development for the watch so people can start coding these kind of apps.

Turning off Sync should turn off all apps like Gmail that respect that feature; as for SMS, I have no idea how you can block that
My hunch is Samsung is about to push quite a few apps very soon, because there are a number of gear manager updates now. It's rather unfortunate that for the powerful hardware the gear is, the software is the biggest road-block. Open the SDK, Samsung guys!

Tasker or any such app should kill the sync but blocking the calls and sms isn't straight forward. Now, that I am typing this in perhaps one could switch to Airplane mode in the night to block everything.
However, I would prefer the way the blocking mode works, ringing only for calls in my contacts for emergency and block everything else during the night. My original idea was to sleep with the watch on for such things, but the vibration is not strong enough to wake me and it's unlikely it would wake anyone..
Notice this issue on day one of the release, I have been hoping that an update would have fixed this by now, but no such luck. I just turn my gear to vibrate at night and set it on a cloth as to not vibrate on the nightstand.
What about setting the gear to mute? I think this also stops notifications coming through?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
This isn't a big deal. Press and hold home, double tap the volume button to go from Sound >> Vibrate >> Mute. Done. Reverse in the morning. Takes 1-2 seconds.

Can this be done for Hangouts ?
I mean the SMS part of it.
Amazing job. A bit overpriced but amazing idea anyway. Thinking on take it.
It corrupts history of messages from Whatsapp and I have to restore messages backup every 2 or 3 attempts to test the app.The problem starts when I answer from PC 2 or 3 times.
Anyway, it's a wonderful idea. Go on!!
Edit: It's something strange. It seems that Whatsapp is opened twice!! i have to close Whatsapp app twice to exit

Haha, It's not overpriced.. Take into the consideration the efforts and long hours of work we developers put to make an app that has no API / No integration support ( I am talking about Whatsapp).

Thats a weird problem you are facing. None of my users or test cases have reported that, I would recommend,
- Restarting your phone
proceed to each next steps only if the problem still persist)
- Uninstall Quick Reply
- Reinstalling Whatsapp (let it settle down)
- Install Quick Reply properly with full initial setup
Let me know if you still face the issue!

I think you guys are talking about whatsapp being open after you send a message? and the thread not showing your replies until you open it up?
If thats the case don't worry.. its just Quick Reply opening up the whatsapp after injecting the message. ( I ll add the code to close it automatically in next update)

Yeah mate totally agree with you. I was the first one who sent an email to whatsapp support regarding quick reply, and you know like me that this email was in the spam folder:silly:
Thanks again.

Disa dev could use the Pushbullet code easily.
The issue is with large companies, who wont.
Unistalled, installed both apps, updated Quick Reply, it's the same, when I try to send messages from PC, whastapp history of messages get corrupted and I have to restore from backup.

Same thing here, other than that it works as advertised.
No WhatsApp+ Support?
Just installed it myself and it works like a charm. I don't use WhatsApp though, only stock MMS.
Features that I think could be beneficial:
SMS marked as read when replied to (or notification dismissed).
Conversation history above text sent
Cheers
WhatsApp+ Support
I'm waiting on support or maybe a workaround to use it with WhatsApp+
But I'll glady buy it!
Any plans to do it?
Hey, i bought the Quick Reply for Pushbullet to Quick Reply Whatsapp Messages, but now i got:
"Sorry, WhatsApp doesn't support quick-replies from Pushbullet yet."

You are making a mistake.. you are still accessing old Whatsapp Notifications.. Please follow the setup steps properly where you disable original Whatsapp Mirroring and reply via Custom Notifications generated by Quick Reply App (the ones seen in Play Store screens), If are still stuck at any point let me know I'll guide you through the entire process!
Amazon store
Can you add this app to the amazon store please?
So I'll buy it
Thanks!
Can you make a plugin for Firefox too?

Can you add a 2 or 3 day trial version for people to try on their phones before making the purchase?
Another question for the OP: When we have stacked WhatsApp notifications with messages from multiple people/groups, whom does the message go to? To the top-most notification? Does the "Quick Reply" window show the recipient who will receive the WhatsApp message?

You can maybe search for a tutorial to mod the framework.
New build is up but sim don't work... again.
So if you are using 0330 don't even download.
Btw where is the chat room
I see. No problem. Good luck !
It's 3 hours now, that it dissapeared... :'(
The second fix .sh script from the RIL thread is also working?
Sorry for the inconvenience! The chatroom disappeared lol. I'll find another which will be hopefully more reliable than the previous one.

Wouldn't it be wiser to open a chat on some service that:
1. has a mobile app (so we can access it from phone too)
2. allows us to send links?
For example Google Hangouts or something like that.

The problem with mobile apps is the fact that you need to make an account, not many people like that. Second thing is, when flashing, having an app on the phone is pretty useless. Third problem is with things like hangouts, your personal profile is exposed and I'm sure not many people would like that ._.
Anyways, I have a surprise in store for you guys and the dev :3, will put up the link when it is done.
