Hello everyone,
My friend has a HTC one from sprint.
I wanted to flash viperone rom to him, so i did SUPERCID 1111111 and S-OFF.
I thought that by doing that, i would be able to flash a GSM firmware before flashing viperone rom, but the phone started to bootloop everytime even after doing fastboot erase cache.
I managed to flash the rom, however now the phone keeps bootlooping.
I reflashed the rom serveral times, and it still wont work. I tried a sprint firmware, but it does the same.
So my question is, since the sprint phone is s-off and has supercid, can I flash a developer edition stock rom? How do I find a firmware for PN072000?
or do I have to flash a stock sprint phone ?
Thanks in advance whoever can help me.

I had bricked my phone and was stuck in the green letter HTC and white screen. I changed my cid to 11111111 with hboot ver 1.56.000 and I was also s-off. After 15 hours of trying everything with only being able to use fastboot commands, this is what I had to do to get back to stock. Fastboot oem lock to relock the bootloader. Fastboot oem rebootRUU. Downloaded Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_4.06.651.4_RUU.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658910. unzipped and ran .exe file.

You cant flash GSM stuff on a sprint phone, even with s-off. Do what said above. Restore the original cid and flash a sprint ruu. No need to relock bootloader to use the ruu with s-off

Thanks both for the reply.... I can't remember the original cid.... Any tips?

So, first of all i want to say that i wouldn`t have written here if i hadn`t tried every possible way. I want to know where i did wrong, because this is the case and i wand to ask for your help.
The situation : I flashed the google edition to my htc one, it was fine, and i didn`t quite like it so i wanted to go back.
Now the show starts. I flashed Hboot 1.44, got the old bootloader back, and then when i tried to flash the old ruu zip it says : couldnt allocate 1034027008bytes. Also i have tried the exe file and it stops right at the start and says connection interrupted or some sort like this and it doesn`t continue.
I have S-off, unlocked bootloader. I had stock 4.2.2 with htc__001 cid, and twrp as recovery and of course it was rooted. I flashed the Google Edition after i put the stock recovery.
Thank you in advance for all your help.

What phone is it? Developer Edition?
First thing is to change your CID to a Super CID 11111111
Then you need the proper RUU file for the phone. If its an ATT version
you can flash the 4.3 Developer Edition RUU on the HTC site.

Then your Hboot 1.44 may not be the correct one. PM me with your email and I will give
you the correct one.

I have tried once again with the 1.44 Hboot and the zip from htc official website , the developer edition one.
Still no luck.
With the help of cc999 i managed to revert back to 4.3 Developer Edition.
Apparently there was a mess in my adb and usb drivers.
So i managed to install the 4.3 Developer Edition on another laptop and it worked just fine.
Thank you again cc999 for the support.
You should use the stock recovery to flash the ruu.exe. Makes life so much easier!

Hello everyone!
I have an AT&T HTC One that is S-Off, relocked, SuperCID, black HBoot 1.54, currently on ViperOne 2.7 with stock kernel. I've been trying for the past day and a half to get the 3.22.1540.1 Brightstar WWE to run so I could have it back to stock with the most current OS. I also want to fully convert it to a Developer's Edition phone as well. I thought that with SuperCID you could run any RUU but so far every single time it ends in an error. I also tried changing the CID to the Developer's Edition CID (BS_US001) and still came back with the same error. So here I am on the greatest place in the world for Android phone assistance and advice asking for help in getting my phone converted to a Developer's Edition and/or on the 3.22 RUU. Thanks in advance for any help.
P.S. I already did try to search like crazy for the answers to my questions.!
Well you may need a stock recovery to run an ruu.exe. And I'd recommend going back to super-cid and then running the ruu as well. Be sure you back up all your information that you do then wish to lose, as the ruu will format the entire phone.

No need to relock boot loader because the developer edition comes by default unlocked. Unlock it to continue. You need to change your CID to 11111111 (super CID) and you need to flash the 1.44 hboot (I believe) the black hboot may be causing the problem.
Downgrade to the lowest firmware you can find for the Developers edition.
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
(Yes, twice.)
Check to be sure everything was successful.
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Make sure the bootloader is locked.
Run the ruu.
Let it do its thing.
Boot the phone and set it up.
Go to settings - about phone - software information - system update.
Allow it to download and update.
Repeatedly check for update until you reach 4.3

Hi there,
Did you get it work 3.22.1540.1 dev edition on your phone?, im still stuck in the same problem, got an HTC One AT&T, i got working the RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_BrightstarUS_WWE_1.29.1540.16.exe (dev edition), when i check for updates, there's an update of 17mb, after updating that one, i check again and found the 3.22.1540.1 OTA (around 550mb), i downloaded and agree to install it, but when reboot the phone, it got stuck in the HTC logo screen, did not go further, even trying to get into recovery, same thing, got stuck in HTC logo screen.
Another test i did, was installing RUU_M7_UL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_BrightstarUS_WWE_3.22.1540.1.exe and even the zip version, both of them install correctly but same problem, got stuck in HTC Logo screen, right now my phone is Unlocked bootloader, S-off with supercid (also tried the BS_US001 CID, same problem), hboot 1.55, is there any chance someone can help me with it? thanks a lot

If you can't unlock using HTCdev and ''fastboot oem unlock'' doesn't work, you'll need to s-off it again. If the phone doesn't boot then you are stuck.

try it with a new unlock.bin file
My AT&T M7 was bootloader unlocked, S-OFF, TWRP installed, Custom ROM (PA), and rooted. I wanted to sell it so I got a SIM Unlock code from AT&T. I went to input the unlock code and it wouldn't work. Apparently you have to be on stock hboot (which I wasn't since I did the google play edition conversion a long time ago) and on a stock ROM (which I also wasn't). So I tried to restore through an RUU.exe and it wouldn't work. RUU.zip didn't work either. So I restored my CID to CWS__001 and that didn't work (I had super CID before). I restored back to stock hboot 1.44 easily. Then I guess I somehow started just clicking random combinations of things inside of HTC One Toolkit and managed to relock my device and s-on so that I could try to restore a stock RUU. I must have done that incorrectly though because now I have no ROM installed, no recovery installed, and I'm S-ON with a message that says "security warning". I'm unable to flash a ROM since I don't have a recovery.
I went to HTC Dev to get an unlock code, which I did, but fastboot bootloader unlock says successful and does nothing. Additionally, I am unable to flash a recovery because I am S-ON.
Help! Any way to get S-OFF trough fastboot only without a ROM installed? Any way to force flash a recovery? Any way to force flash a ROM? Any way to get RUU to not spit out error 158? HELP!!!

LOL @ randomly clicking and ending up with S-On and locked bootloader. That's a great way to mess up your phone .
Deepening on your fastboot output, you are probably SOL.

yep we will see.
I also heard of someone lucky here who had a rep from HTC helping him. That guy from HTC compiled a custom firmware package signed with HTC private key (which will allow it to be flashed with s-on and locked bootloader). Once the firmware is flashed, it will unlock the bootloader. That was the only time I heard about this kind of thing and i'm not sure its approved by HTC and will probably not happen soon again.
Similar situation, but haven't gone backwards yet
I just bought a AT&T-locked HTC One M7 and mistakenly thought that rooting and s-off would unlock the SIM. I've also requested an unlock code from AT&T, but if what he's saying is true, I'm going to have to revert to a stock AT&T phone as well.
So my question is, How do I go backward without screwing up the same way? I have made some recovery backups of the original ROM but the bootloader was unlocked already. Took me a long time to figure out how to go forward in the process and I wasn't really concerned about having to re-lock anything because it's beyond the warranty period.
I'm running the following:
Bootloader unlocked
CWM Touch Recovery backups along the way
Firewater for S-Off
Venom ViperOne ROM installed
Bulletproof kernel
Firmware upgraded to 6.09.401.5
I'd really like to un-do as little of this as possible. I'm wondering what part of the modification is detected by the SIM unlock code process.
I'm kind of a noob, but this is my second Android phone that I've rooted and modded in the past couple of weeks, so I'm getting better. I'm very frustrated that unlocking the SIM is such a big deal. Any help you can offer is appreciated.

your situation isnt really comparable to OP's situation.
You just have to use the sim unlock code on a stock rom or "close-to-stock" rom like arhd (might also work on venom idk)
If you have to return stock to use the sim unlock code, you can use the stock odexed rom of 6.09.401.5 on available arhd blog download section. just make a nandroid backup of your current setup, flash the stock odexed rom, sim unlock using the code and then revert back to your venom rom using your nandroid backup.
or with s-off, simply ruu your phone, use the unlock code then flash the rom you want to use.
Got it working

Thanks again. Just bought an unlock code for $5 off one of those sites and it worked without doing any changes to the ROMs and other mods. Thanks for the tip about going back to stock easily though. Might want to set that up just as a backup.
Hi! I recently get the M7 wls Sprint variant from aliexpress. When I turn on the phone it works good until start rebooting. It comes with 4.4.2 and Sense 6. Bootloader is Locked.
S-Off.
HBOOT -1.57.000
RADIO -2.03.30.0109
Cid -11111111
Stock recovery
I think is rooted because it have superuser aplication. When it start to rebooting I decide to make a Factory reset. Now the phone boots and don't pass the Htc logo.
I need to install the Ruu file for the Sprint version? It will change the cid and hboot and radio numbers?
I want my phone rooted with the cid-11111111 to flash any custom rom.
What thing recommend to do first? Thanks. I have a bad english. Sorry.
You maybe have to find the kernel file for that phone download it and after you flash the stock romantic to the phone flash it with the kernel that should kick it back on. If that doesn't work you have to repartition the phone then flash it with the stock romantic then with the kernal. That's how it works with android using Odin.

Flashing a RUU will not change your CID and supercid isn't required to flash custom rom. Don'T forget that since you ave a sprint M7 (WLS) you can only flash roms that was made for the WLS version. If you are planning to use custom roms, I wouldn't bother with flashing a RUU and simply flash a custom recovery and a custom rom. All roms for sprint version can be found in the sprint htc one forum (not here in the gsm forum). You also have to use a custom recovery (twrp or cwm) made for the wls variant, not the version for the standard htc one (M7_U/UL).
If you want to flash a RUU, pleas post the output of "fastboot getvar all" so we can help you find the correct one and make sure everything is fine before flashing. (don't post your IMEI / MEID / Serialno)
