Thanks for this awesome Rom, great performance so far. Love the design of it. Besides of the already know bugs, only problem for me is the battery drain, don't know if every1 passd trough this, but with nothing on, just the screen on, 2% on 5 minutes.. and that's a pretty high value, at least for me. But anyway, great Rom man, kept it up!

Hi FeoNix FiRe users set ur cpu at 624-156mhz,smartassv2 with sio, open link2sd scroll down u will see software update app uninstall it......
Also if ur not using kitkat locker but using other locks go in setting then app setting then running process click on kitkat locker stop it
Go in terminal emulater enter su then wolf then zipalign
But let it be stable for 3 mins after rebooting as in intial it will be little slow but as u use it get stable & perform at same rate.....but if it lag turn 624 to832 rest remain same but must try with 624 i got no lags ....so u must try saves much battery.....

As for CronMod, can you check whether you have a file named 40int2ext in your /system/etc/init.d to see if the installation was successful? Do post the result. Hope I Helped

Sure, you can always retry the installation. Just make sure to do Mounts & Storage> Mount /system from CWM before you install this script. Most of the time not mounting /system can lead to unsuccessful installation. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
Tethering and WiFi hotspots not working..

after flashing my galaxy ace s5830I to " feronix fire v2a " my thethering and hotspoting not working .that's why I can't share my mobile internet to my pc.
and also I doubt my internet connection very slow after flash. .bcoz I have 3g pack

yeah wifi tethering has some problem i have been reported by some users might due to some scripts combination causing that but internet slow is not rom problem it has already a script to enhance 3g connection even i m also using 3 g no problem at all
use feonix fire v2 b it has no problem of wifi tethering everything is fine in that so use feonix fire v2b as it has no script included but it has same performance as stock....remember that

Great! This is exactly what I needed because I cant post to the dev forums yet.
I have a question about the battery stats: I changed the CPU governor to "Ondemand" and whenever i check my battery stats it shows the phone is awake at all time (even when locked ). Sometimes my battery will drain for no apparent reason ( I was drained 10% in 1 hour even though phone was locked all time ), but not too often.
Did anyone else experience such troubles?

Thats due to wakelocks. There are still a lot of bugs, which seem to keep the phone alive. But maybe you also got an incompatible app, check with betterbatterystats, then you ll see, if it's an app or android processes, that keep the phone awake

works GSM , vibration, and i think sim security..
Its impossible to port those things that work to this rom?

These are both versions of cm9 so it should work. The main problem with our version of cm9 is the kernel. If we could import the kernel from this rom to the Free Optimus Project's rom, it might work. Someone should suggest this.

No it is not, but we all also have private lifes, hope you guys understand this furthermore, redy is trying to compile a new kernel, which might fix some bug and the bugs remaining, are simply hard to fix. For vibration, you can simply open the zip, add cm7 kernel, patch the market bug, repack, add boot.img to your zip, repack and resign this and then flash the new version if you have problems, in doing so, ask here and i ll help, if i have time

Not ignorant at all ok take build 2a, open it with 7 zip and add the boot.img of faradox build to the 2a zip (replace the old one). Then look for a .zip ROM signer ans sign your ROM. Test whats working I first need to look up the changes made by tantrums, to make market work, but i think it should be in init.rc in the ramdisk of boot.img just keep asking, if you need more help :-D

The same for all of us , but only from System settings/Apps, you can uninstall apps from louncher (Nova Launcher for ex.) or other program with apps manager

Android System Info reboots either. I'm using Total Commander - works as it should.

You answered my query. I asked if external SD card mounts, and if i can access it using file managers and apps.
It was not so with the CM10.1 preview build.

Base is Akop 4.1.2 stable unofficial.........it has almost all features ported from 4.2.....
4.2 in heading indicates jelly beast's version......

I dont facing any issue when Wifi on then backlight goes off, and then I can open lock screen as usual
Now I combine this ROM with supercharger v6 and the result is Great , smooth.
Only the font size which is cannot be changed.
This rom is stable enough for daily use

For some chinese app you can use translated app from either CK's .35 based rom or FR's .32 based ROM.... figure out which are those apps and replace it with your app from system/app folder
@ noobcuber Sidekick app for which will help you to make chinse manage app to english. Refer my linked post
@GUNDUL46 you can use System UI file from the attachments from same post to get Extended setting work like center clock with your ROM. Sorry I have not used it and still commenting on this part ... I am downloading it

WiFi work great with ROM ... only has SOD issue and I think its because of Edowar Kernel. I will change and update...
Meanwhile some need to update about ROM

in fact WiFi work great with this ROM ... even games like Temple Run 2 run well with this ROM and hope it with continue to work smooth and it will continuously will get update

I like this room until now, and installed in my samsung galaxy ace.
now I install on galaxy mini, I found a small bug in the volume up and down buttons on Laucher wp 8, I can not add up and turn down the sound

yeah, everything works but if I choose holo launcher, a bug in the volume.
everything works fine so far..but i found bug thats the bluetooth and usb tethering not work on me..but thumbs up for you friends for your work..:good:

I am writing to share with you my ROM , which arises from the need to have a stable base , not heavy , and customizable.
Having necessarily need a correct operation of the ' MHL but still very happy with the performance of various stock -based ROM , I decided to make one for my account.
Do not expect custom graphics scary ( except for the statusbar ), but a fluid use and lower fuel consumption compared to cm and stock .

before proceeding to flash we need :
unlocked bootloader
CWM recovery 6.0.x.x
installation :
WARNING ! default data traffic could be active
1 - Copy / move the file xsensial -rom sd - v20b.zip in
2 - make a backup of everything ( recommended) with CWM recovery
3-by recovery proceeding with these steps wipe data / factory reset , wipe cache partition , wipe Dalvik cache , format system
4 - flash xensial - rom- v20b.zip in sd card
5 - restart

If you want the battery icon you have to enable it in the custom setting. For percentage of battery you have to enable it in energy savings> show percent.

Yup, this rom looks alike the one published in angeeks forum by the author ddfzl.
However, if you are able to fix the wifi problem, it is always welcome
Besides, some version also having known bug of incoming call can't link to the phonebook contact and can't show the caller ID.

Try flash the latest warewolf v08 kernel, it may help to keep connect to wifi with higher successful rate.
I found that one big problem of my rom (should similar with this rom too) is once you've connect to wifi, the wifi wakelock is very high, almost 100% running at background eventhough it's turn off. You may use battery stat to check it.

I installed the rom using the steps on the 1st post and my phone now is black when i open the zip file i saw the files is from a kind of backup :/ so now i installed last version of android on my 4x (4.1.2 aka v20b eur)!
in future i will create my custom rom .... now i need some edify_defs for it .... and probably i will port 4.2.2 from another lg (g pro/g2), yes i'm a noob but i learn very fast! my first experience with an android phone was in 2011 :X my first xperia x10i wich i was created my first stock based rom but not for people, only for me now my x10 is dead due the broken motherboard(he reach very fast 50 grade Celsius and restart after 15min of usage ).
Sorry for my bad enghlish
and if you want to create a good stock rom try to open system.ext.tar.a with winrar/7zip and extract system file ......! or give me your backup ... :/

Make a zip for cwm is not a difficult task and I think you know that. I considered using backup created by cwm to prevent to most users problems that I have found in different flash on this device
And I'm referring to black screen after flash cm.10.2, Superex, many rom based on AOKP and stock
