I can't find official RUU file my phone. Please help.

I can't find official RUU file my phone.
I have tried many ruu files but all doesn't work.
before try relock bootloader. same result.

RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13. 3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed.exe
You can't flash it , because the current version of your software is higher than that which contains in RUU.
Get S-OFF and try this RUU again. And all will be OK.

You can also do the mainver hack as well to downgrade without doing s-off

s-off first and then just run the exe.

Yes, right!
1)After flash RUU ,you will receive update to 1.29.401.12 and after that update to 2.24.401.1
2) exe is better, more simply

With s-off you can install ANY ruu you want but the safest way is stick to the official ones for your country.

my problem solved. installed ruu without problem.

i cannot find a RUU file for HTC one S
I have Htc one is and i cannot seem to get the internal sdcard to be mounted,i have tried everything ..It happen when i was pitting on a RUU file and my phone is stuck on the white screen .I have twirp and other software on my phone but i cannot sort out internal sdcard partition
I hope the right RUU with exe can sort out my problems ,but i cannot find one

I tried adb from command prompt but nothing happening over my sdcard is not found
I do not have an external sdcard So any help or good ideas please ,I am really lost without my phone

I need to reflash the latest stock ROM in my M7... I tried to download the latest RUU Europe but it says errore 158 wrong ROM.

how come you dont have version-main? try this one http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_3-62-401-1-zip/ make sure the MD5 in this site matches the one you downloaded

Why do you need to go back to stock? Warranty/selling?
because with S-On you can only get your bootloader to say RELOCKED, it will never say LOCKED unless you S-Off.

All i know is that i need root....
so i think i have to be at least unlocked to also installa modded recovery.
Am i wrong?

Soft-brick. Need help!

So I had my m7 running fine, rooted and running a custom ROM. I got the M8 and so I wanted to return it to stock so I could sell it. Im now regretting that because I can't get it to do anything now. I've reflashed various ROMs (stock and custom Sense ROMs) without any success. For awhile I could get the stock rom (or what i believe was stock) to boot but the touch screen wouldn't work so it was worthless. Now I only get it to set on the HTC logo with the white background. I've left it for over 30 minutes and nothing happens. I'm a semi-noob but this one has be stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Here is what my bootloader looks like:

Your phone is the (M7_WLS CDMA) Sprint variant. You are not posting in the right forum, so I guess you are flashing roms/recoveries for the wrong variant (M7_UL GSM)

i am using the Sprint variant recovery and the roms have been for Sprint. i posted in this forum because i thought it was the right place to ask for help. what forum do you recommend?

Here is what I have from Get Var. I am thinking i need to update my hboot to 1.56 so I use OMJ's RUU ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658910 ). I try it now and it crashes at 4%.

if your phone is s-on make sure to use the encrypted/signed version , not the decrypted one. bootloader must be locked or re-locked.

Yeah i'm using the encrypted one as far as i can tell (Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_4.06.651.4_RUU.zip)
I am also relocked as you can see in the GET VAR screen. Maybe it has something to do with recovery or hboot. I don't know.

no, locked/unlocked/relocked status is not included in a getvar, its only displayed on the bootloader screen

Might have made it worse.
I figured i should update my hboot from 1.55 to 1.56. So here is my current booloader screen.
Tampered
Relocked
M7_WLS PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.56.0000
Radio-1.00.20.0913_3
OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617
OS- 4.06.651.4
The OS line is new... I tried to then flash the Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_4.06.651.4_RUU.zip ROM using OMJ's instructions and it just crashes at 4% and says Error 155: UNKNOWN ERROR, like before. I appreciate any help.

Yes. typed the flash command twice.
Technically the very first time i only did it once and then i watched the video and saw him do it twice. so yeah i did it twice.

so you got the successful message at the end, then reboot your phone to fastboot USB mode and run the ruu

Yes i ran the reboot command and it went to the htc screen and i powered it down and went back into fastboot-usb and ran the RUU. It stops at 4% and says Error 155 (unknown). Im using Windows 7. Thanks for your continued help.

well this is what the error means:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ERROR [155~159]: IMAGE ERROR
One of these error messages will appear when you use the incorrect RUU to update and the image file size is larger than the Flash ROM size. In this case, download the correct RUU version and try again.
PLEASE READ PAGE 5 AND 6 FROM THE THREAD YOU LINKED WHERE YOU ARE GETTING THE FILES FROM.

Update to new firmware 7.15.401.1 with S-ON?

I hope you can help me ....my htc one is unlocked bootloader currently with hboot 1.57 so I was unable to make s-off ... ...
My question is ... can I upgrade the firmware to 7.15.401.1 of my m7 with s-on? There are some special way?

If it's the stock signed firmware and it's newer than what you have you just flash it. (your CID and MID must match the firmware)

Post your "fastboot getvar all"
4A.18.3263.15 isn't relevant, it's your radio version only and a few different phone versions are using the same radios.
What is your main goal? You want to update your firmware only? To flash a custom rom? Or you want to be on the latest stock version?
