[Q] Can't update CM11

Hi guys,
I'm new to Sony devices and rooting/flashing procedures.
I run CWM recovery 6.0.4.7 and CM11 with the included Kernel 3.4.0-g14fe8eb
As the title says: when I try to flash a cm11 rom, other than the one I'm currently on (2014-03-01), I end up in a bootloop (CM arrow doesn't stop spinning). When I try to restore a backup via recovery, I end up with a missing IMEI and thus a not working mobile radio. My procedure to fix this is: full wipe, flash the current nightly.
To me it doesn't make any sense that the IMEI is missing after a restore (when I created the backup everything was fine). What is the correct procedure to update to the next nightly?
Best regards,
bumbum

[Q] Go back to stock ROM from Cyanogenmod/CWM

Hi all
I have CM 10.2 and CWM recovery installed on my Z. Now I'm going to sell it and would like to "revert" to the stock ROM.
I realized that the Flash Tool by Bin4ry and Androxyde only works with stock, locked bootloaders so I cannot install original ROMs the "normal" way.
I assume I need to find a stock ROM image zipped in a format that is compatible with CWM recovery, and flash from there?
Thanks for all help
nope it should work with any Rom just download the ftf you want and flash it it would work with any Sony Device either Locked or Unlocked

[Q] efs broken and imei missing

I,ve used omni rom for a while and decided to switch to amcha rom, my phone didnt boot after first flash, just at boot logo. After second flash my phone booted but no network and watermark in the attachment appeared..
I had done this backup before, but my phone wouldn`t appear on the port setup so backup was impossible.

Tried flashing stock rom 4.3 (using new bootloader),
didnt boot. E3 recovery told me that /efs cannot be mounted, so did twpr recovery when installing some roms. I managed to find out only amcha rom booted.
Roms tried: sentinel rom
Stock
Amcha
Omni
I have the backup file in format .qcn but how could i restore it?
I`dd really appreciate any help!

You have to do all wipes and then flash Stock again.Try this.
Did all wipes, flashed via odin. Didn't boot up. Flashed custom kernel (AGNI PURESTOCK), then booted...
Still same watermark and wont connect with qpst.
Any ideas?

Installing Custom Rom

Hi there, i am on stock rom 4.3 and i am considering to flash a custom rom. It is going to be my First flash of a custom rom and i am wondering if something is not working as it should, will i be able to return to stock with no problems? If i install a custom Kernel as well will kies install stock firm as usual (to return to stock)? Or the only method is a full backup and restore? Restoring method restores kernel too? Thank you for your help.
U must rooting your device, next install custom recovery and backup your rom, thats all, and next try the first install omni rom
I am already rooted. Omni is one of my thoughts. Should i flash a custom kernel after omni or it is not mandatory?

After flashing any rom like Criskelo or Existen, my Xperia never boot up. I see only Sony logo and then black screen, and recovery doesnt work even when i flash it again after rom. Can any one help me ? What i do wrong.

Actually, you can't boot on custom rom with locked bootloader, therefore you might brick your device if you'll keep trying to flash custom roms on your phone.
Firstly, you've to unlock your Bootloader if you want to use any custom rom (unlocking bootloader will lead you to DRM keys and its functions remove, with TA Partition backup you'll be able to recover it).
i solwed my problem, i just cant wipe system partition ... so i install custom rom, then make factory reset and its works!
