LG VS980 Stuck in Boot Loop

I have an LG VS980 which I attempted to put Cyanogenmod on via TWRP. Unfortunately, after going through the process and TWRP indicating that it was successful, my phone now just turns on, displays the LG Logo, vibrates, turns off, and repeats. I'm able to get back into TWRP via the factory reset screen, however. I was able to use fastboot to put on a few different LG VS980-compatible ROMS, but none of them work, indicating that it's not the ROM that's bad. Somehow, I don't have a backup of the original system. I thought I made one, but now it's not there. This is my main phone and I can't do anything with it as of now. Please help. Thanks.

If you can get into download mode, return it to stock using the guide in the General section.

[Q] Lg G2 stuck in Bootloop

Hi I recently tried flashing cm12 beta on my Vs980 LG G2 that was running 4.4.2 kik kat. I flashed it it rebooted and then kept rebooting the logo and I found out I was stuck in a bootloop I am able to access TWRP and download mode but when I try and connect it to a computer it doesn't recognize my phone so I can't flash it back to stock I think . Also every time I go into TWRP it says that the USB-OTG could not be mounted. I have tried erasing everything such as the dalvick cache but nothing seems to work I can use anyone's help.
P.s I stupidly forgot to make a backup so yeah.

VS980 On CyanogenMod 12.1 Lollipop lost TWRP 2.7.0.0 trying to flash CWM Touch

I had my LG G2 VS980 (Verizon) on stock 26a KitKat with root and TWRP 2.7.0.0 recovery and I flashed CWM 12.1 using TWRP which worked great. I still had the TWRP recovery, which I believe uses an exploit on a 24a KitKat. Then, I decided to try CWM Touch recovery and used Flashify to download and flash, which, by all outward appearances seemed to work. (It gave success notification.) Then, after rebooting into recovery, it showed the LG boot logo, then black screen with tiny white writing that scrolled down about 4-6 lines, and then disappeared into a black screen that can only be escaped by holding the power down for about 10 secs. It boots into phone just fine (thank God), and if I hold the up + power at boot, it still shows download firmware mode, and if I hold the down + power and release and repress again at LG logo, I still get the Restore Factory screen, which is promising, but I am extremely reluctant to try that since I have no idea what would happen after upgrading to CWM 12.1 and my recovery is in the shape that its in. One thing that's interesting that no matter which app I use to try to flash a TWRP or CWM recovery, it always seems to flash too fast to be really doing anything at all, and it always goes back to that same tiny white writing then black screen. Also, another weird thing is that if I try to use Autorec which I downloaded to try to flash TWRP that way, it says Invalid Model, VS980 4G required, but that is what I have. Anyone who can figure this out and I will rename my firstborn after them! Thank you.
what happened is that you flashed a non bumped-loki'd recovery that by itself doesn't work. The screen you saw was probably LG secure boot error. The exploit bypasses this very screen that appears because our bootloader is locked.
To fix this, get this recovery here, extract the recovery.img from the dowloaded zip and use the flash tool to flash it. Your device should boot into twrp normally.

OK, I'm going to try that right now. Thank you for your time and help.
It worked! Thank you so much! And I really like the recovery I now have as an added bonus. What a relief.

OnePlus 3 may be bricked (Recovery won't load

I'm not sure, but my OnePlus 3 may be bricked.
I was running FreedomOS rooted, and with TWRP recovery installed. I downloaded a substratum theme, and installed it on the phone. When I rebooted the phone to apply the changes to the UI, the phone went into a bootloop. So i try to go to the recovery, by entering it via fastboot mode. Now it's basically acting like there isn't a recovery, neither twrp or stock recovery come up, just a black screen. The OnePlus splash screen shows up for about 10 seconds, then the screen goes blank. So when I try to load a recovery via fastboot flash on my computer, it still doesn't work. I've tried multiple versions of TWRP, and the stock recovery, and nothings working so fatr. Any tips or suggestions would be very much appreciated, thanks.
