My Xperia V sometimes clicks on itself, always on the right virtual button. Switching off the screen sometimes helps, sometimes I just have to wait. Cleaning the screen isn't the solution. Also, I don't see any scratches or anything like that. This problems occurs with both firmware versions, 9.2.A.1.199 and 9.2.A.1.210.
Another problem is that switching off the Wi-Fi doesn't work. In the battery stats it's always on and it also drains a lot of battery life

Hello folks, Ian here again.
Back in March, I replaced the screen on my Xperia X1 after dropping it in a toilet. I seem to have full functionality of the whole phone, but the screen connection seems flaky. It will flicker or sometimes simply black out. I've tried opening up and resetting all the connections again without any change. I'm tempted to try some sort of method of gluing the contacts so they don't come undone.
Other issues include:
- the light sensor seems to not be working
- my signal strength seems poor, about half of what it should be regularly
Anyone have any suggestions?
Hi,
i updated my xperia z to android 4.2.2,after then i'm facing problem with display during phone calls. Before updating i can able to see the call duration display whenever i took of the phone away from my ear.But now while i'm talking,my phone automatically goes to the sleep mode, even though i'm having the same settings like before updating(i.e settings->Display->sleep>After 1 minute of inactivity). So that i have to press power button every time to see the call duration during the phone calls.Kindly help me in solving this issue
I've same problem with my Xperia z I read in some forums that screen protector is causing this issue so I've removed it but still same problem as mention above if someone kindly have any solution
I've only had this phone for a couple of months, but occasionally when I try to wake the phone, the screen doesn't respond. Everything else is running I think because if I hold down the camera button I feel it vibrate into camera mode. The only way to get it to work is by a hard reset.
I had assumed that this was a really annoying bug in the software, but recently its been happening more frequently, so I am wondering is this a bug other people are experiencing or a faulty handset?
running rooted stock 9.1.A.1.141
It has been a few months now and I have dropped my phone a few times since then, although no noticeable damage. Few things that occur:
-Sometimes auto-screen rotate does not work and I will have to restart my phone.
-When I take pictures, the result of the photo is turned a different way and I would have to manually rotate the photo back.
-Sometimes when I take a picture in superior auto mode, it gives me a 1 shot burst. I'm not holding it either. Restarting phone solved this problem.
Two issues that have been around since I first got my phone:
-I have more wi-fi issues with my Z1 than my Z. It often drops signal.
-Camera button sometimes does not work while phone display is off.... however I believe the kitkat update fixed it as I no longer have issues.
When in auto mode the phone anyways made the pictures as burst shot for me, it didn't matter when it was only just one picture.
And about the rotation issues, don't you disable rotation (if not, try enabling and dialing it next time it won't rotate) ?
Sent from HTC One m8, or maybe not anymore
I also have the rotation issue, sometimes when I play a game that relies on tilt, it doesn't work until I restart the phone.
Also my compass and magnetic field sensor do not work, is anyone else getting the same problems?

Hi all, I have an old Sony Xperia V that's been working perfectly for a good few years now, but recently it's developed this infuriating problem with the touchscreen, where it randomly acts like somebody is holding down the onscreen back button, and you have to turn the screen off and then on again to make the problem go away. Sometimes it also does this with the homescreen button, but most of the time, it's with the back button. This problem has gotten to the point that the phone is almost unusable, as it does it every single time I turn the screen on, if I turn the screen off and then on again (as mentioned earlier) the problem usually goes away for a few minutes, and then comes back again, making the phone extremely frustrating to use. Any ideas on what the fault could be? I've never put custom firmware on this phone, and I've never used it underwater. I've cleaned the screen many times with no effect on the problem, and I do not have a screen protector covering the display.
