[THEME][MIUI]Five Point Lock Screen/Unread Count/MUSIC Widget

Heres my lockscreen. it incorporates the bubble unread sms and call count and instead of browser music player and NEW contains music player.
how to get into music player: double tap lock button.
the music player disappears and the unlock circle folds only into button when not in use.
Just place anywhere then seetings > personal > themes > edit theme > lockscreen style > menu button > import theme > point to theme location > select theme > apply

its a known bug currently lots of people are looking to get it to work with google music, but its not happening and im not having any luck. and i just wrote in the path and app type for music player to change it from browser.

Switching runtime between Dalvik and ART

I read about the inclusion of the new ART runtime in 4.4, so I went into my Nexus 5 and enabled the setting. First reboot is supposed to take longer as the apps are prepared.

Unfortunately, my Nexus 5 did not recover from this and was stuck in a boot loop. Logcat showed a bunch of mm-camera errors.
I don't know how to switch the runtime back to dalvik. I can see the phone is loading libart.so, and if I could switch back to livdvm.so it might recover.
If anyone knows how to do this, it might be helpful to others.
I'm just going to restore the factory image to get the phone back.

I was wondering about that. I doubt many people will find this setting without explicitly looking for it. It's under developer options, so I thought it was more of a developer topic.

That's the post I read originally. I asked about it in the comments there too. Looks like I was the only one with that problem. I had some weird FCs on the camera this morning, and I'm stock (well, rooted), so I wonder what's different about mine that made it not work.

After flashing the system.img I was able to boot and ART was enabled. Whatsapp was FC on me too. I went back to Dalvik.

I am using ART and everything is working properly and is super snappy. I am really excited for this to be fully integrated and optimized :good:.

I flicked the switch to ART and was amazed at the speed improvements. I have only come across one app that would crash (asphalt 8). I am leaving it on, and if developers want me to buy their games, they better expect to support ART.

Would it be wise to uninstall everything and re-install the programs with ART. Or does it do that for you?

I switched to ART a couple of hours ago. Didn't need to reinstall anything.

ART does it all for you.
When you enable it will shut down your phone, then when you restart it will compile all the apps as it boots, this can take a few minutes and is battery intensive so make sure your phone has a good charge before you make the switch.

Wallpapers???

Is there an app or a way to change the background wallpaper? The ability of just switching the background color is boring after a while. so, is there an app or a way that this can be done on the stock launcher?

ummm, how does this app work for the gear? this is just a wallpaper app. Is there a way to change the wallpaper on the Gear on the stock browser?

Download watch styler from the Samsung app store. Place any picture or wallpaper from your phone.

We dont mean a watch face, we mean a different background image to use instead of the background color options the watch comes with

I also prefer the stock launcher and actually think Samsung did a good job with it. I'm currently running null 14 with touchwiz launcher and I bluetoothed a doodle I did on my note to my gear, I set this as a wallpaper and I now see this when I hold down 2 fingers to activate the task manager......so maybe this could point us in the right direction to get this enabled for all screens. Just a thought.

I think what he is askin is to change the whole wallpaper not just with the clock but with all the pages on the gear when u flip it to different apps

I think you can push the file to the wallpaper directory of the gear. Not sure how but I've seen it on a post. Ill search and post the link here.

Ill try to look for the post and I think it also has a video on youtube how to push the file (wallpaper) but I think it only works on rooted phone with custom rom, not a 100% sure though.

I don't think you should be looking for any folder named wallpaper but just look for the folder where the background colours are stored and add some wallpapers with similar dimensions.

for the stock rom all thre leds breath only for incoming call and msg.. apart from album and walkman app

I am running on cm11.. There is an app which enables which enables all three lights.. But I forgot which one.. Do u know by any chance??

Since I have already paid for light flow I always use it. Ever since my first android Google Galaxy Nexus.
It has the option of using illumination bar thus using all the 3 led

its xperia sp using the leaked rom.
Its just running lots of xposed modules for quicksettings (AOSP style), Greenify, xhalo floating windows, gravity box and some more.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but my XSP running [KK 4.4.4] Paranoid-neXus doesn't seem to be able to choose the ilumination bar. It is greyed out somehow, got any other ways to deal with this problem

[Q] What Happened to the small app Notes?

I don't have the small app "notes", which was the most useful small app on my Xperia ZR. Anybody have it? I can't find it in the Play store.

What you can do alternatively is use Google Keep and create a small app from one of its widgets. It would work with other third party notes apps as well I guess.
Although it seems like it will switch to the full app as soon as you try to edit or add a note.

I miss this app too... Anyone can port it for Z3C please?

That's exactly what happens, it switches to the full app, makes it worthless as small app.

Well if you can find a notes app that has a widget in which you can type directly, then that would work well as a small app.

Sorry to be slower but how did this solve the problem? I installed this app, it's actually a good and simple note app, but it doesn't have a widget, so I cannot add it to small apps.

I installed it and it didn't show in mine, so I deleted it again thinking it was a standard notes app. Playstore don't seem to have any small apps for notes either, although plenty of other types of small apps.

You could look for a notes app that has a widget in which you can enter a note directly. Then you may be able to make a small app from that widget.

I tried to install the apk file shared by lolstebbo using mobile go from PC but failed with error remarks "Not Enough Space". It's strange because my available storage in my z3 compact still adequate around 9GB left. Anyone experienced this before?

Thanks bro!!!! I was looking for the stock notes app my z1 compact had since like a month ago....
This apk is the right one. It also adds the notes small app and the voice recording small app :highfive:
Just a question. Does anybody know where the voice recordings are saved in the phone? I need to copy some recordings to my pc, but don't know which directory are them in.
