My AT&T G Flex randomly rebooted and when it did, it flashed the AT&T logo off and on infinitely. I did the method of holding down the power button and the volume down button, then releasing the power button and pressing it again to get the hard reset option. Did that, now it just shows the LG logo and stays there infinitely as well. I did not have any recovery ROMS installed. I assume my only option is to re-install the stock ROM.
If there are other options I can try, I'd greatly appreciate and try any. Thanks!

Hold in volume up and while you're holding it down plug in the phone to your computer with the USB cable. Does it enter Download Mode?

Hi, wondering if you guys could help me.
My HTC One is stuck on bootloop. I tried to install a GPE rom with S-ON and now it get's to the first screen of the setup and restarts itself. The problem is the volume keys are defunt therefore I can't get into recovery to flash another rom.
Is there anyway I can force the phone to boot to recovery or to hboot ? I tried to «adb reboot recovery» on boot but with no luck.
Really appriciate any help.
Put it under a light and try to longpress Power and vol-.
HI Guich, thanks for the reply.
I did try what you suggested: shined the flash from another cellphone on the One, at the top where the sensors are, and long pressed power+volume-. If I hold the buttons the phone will just restart endlessly and if I let go of the power button and hold the (defunt) volume- the phone will try to boot as standard.
What would the light do to the phone ? Is it supposed to trigger some of the sensors ?
Thanks!

His intention was to re-verify whether you were pressing the volume down key and not the volume up key. There are no hidden sensors im aware of. if nobody else can give u a solution, the only choice wud b a motherboard replacement frm HTC itself

Umh, if you longpress power and vol- it will boot?
Strange.
If you longpress under the light, theoritecally, it have to boot into the bootloader...
raghav kapur that's what I trying to avoid
Guich it boots because the volume button is broken.
I think my only chance is to, some how, force the phone to get into recovery or hboot whilst booting I just don't know how I could do that without the volume buttons.
Just another bit of information.
When I've got the phone connected to the pc, Windows tries to install an MTP device but never gets to finalize the installion because the phone reboots. If I leave the battery flat and then plug it in, with the charging animation on the phone, Windows tries to install an 'unkown device'.

Ah, sorry, my mistake.
If you've a broken vol- you don't have a lot of chance...
It's an unknown device because it don't boot.
Hello All,

Hold power and vol down until it turns on and once it gets to the lg logo, release the buttons and press and hold them again until it gets to the factory reset screen. Hit the power button three times and it will boot into your recovery

Thanks fellas!
The phone has to be powered OFF for the stated and linked methods to work for recovery access.
To power the phone off (if, say, you're stuck in a bootloop),
Press and hold the power and Vol- buttons for 10 seconds do not release, hold for an additional 3-5 seconds. The LG logo will flash briefly. When the screen is black, let go of all buttons. Now the phone is off, you may process to use the previously stated commands to enter recovery.
Hold volume down + power until the LG logo appears....once it appears release the power button and repress it and hold until youre into recovery... :good:
Hey i rooted my my flex and am still on 4.2.2 i used freedom flex to install both recoverys trying to get this to work. I can boot into both no problem from the freedom flex app but if i complety power the phone down to boot in like i would have too if i got stuck in a boot loop. I have tried every button combination i can think of including the normal way that worked before holding power and volume down until the lg logo then releasing the power key and imediettly holding it again with no luck. So is ther a way to get in woth the hard wear keys? Or is the recoverys only to flash roms and if you get stuck in a loop your just out of luck?
Sorry for the spelling my computer is missing a hard drive at the moment so im on my phone.

Hold Vol Up + Power button through the LG splash screen until you see a black screen with a wrench and some Korean text. Then let go immediately and you should go into your custom recovery.
thank you!
Just tried it on both that tried to get twrp up but it kept crashing and trying again until i held down the power key to shut it off but i switched back to clockwork and it worked like a charm. Much appricated
Hello all, a friend of mine is having some trouble getting into recovery, holding the key combos then letting go of power and then pressing it again, blah blah blah but it always boots into hardware control mode with no options to boot into recovery, we've tried several key combos with varying speed and no matter what we do it goes into that mode. It seems that other people have had this problem.... the device is on stock 4.4 and is rooted and the freedom flex app with TWRP installed, booting into recovery from android works fine and recovery is booting properly from there, any help is greatly appreciated
thanks

All I have to do is hold down the power + volume down and it goes straight into recovery mode. Have you tried pressing and holding volume down+power until logo appears then press and hold again? The only other solution is using adb.

Guys I need your help. I powered down my S10 and when I turned it back on it is stuck on a boot loop. I get all the way to the lock screen until it restarts and boot up again. I've tried holding down the volume down and power button but it won't work.
Are there other button combos I can try out?
I am S.O.L. right now and I'd appreciate the help!
thx

My apologies if you know this, but I didn't see you mention the Bixby key when trying to get to the recovery menu.

Maybe it was a setting you changed, or an app. Any important change you made before this? You can try booting in safe mode (Hold the power on key until the Samsung logo appears, when Samsung logo appears, release the power key and hold the Vol Down button until it finishes restarting.
To enter recovery mode, you have to boot the phone holding together the power key and the vol UP button.
This happened to me a few weeks ago. It rebooted at least 20 times but it eventually fixed itself. (Had to do a force restart on it a few times as well.) Are you able to try and launch in safe mode?
