sense 6.0 blinkfeed on left swipe sense tv, calendar not showing - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi i just got the update to sense 6.0 blinkfeed on Vodafone uk htc one m7. When I do left swipe from blinkfeed then under highlights I don't see the sense tv, calendar, zoe icons as they are selected from services & apps . I can though see faceboook, google plus and twitter though .
I did do the hard reset by turning of volume down + power button way . Still the same .
Is this normal with everyone ? As earlier in sense 5.5 I was not able to see such icons but when I did hard reset they started to show up .... but now still they are not in sense 6 after hard reset aswell .
Hope people are getting my point and help me out with this soon please!

Help adding HTC Lockscreen/Music widget to DamageR Rom

I'm using the DamageR 5.0 rom on my hero right now. I'm trying to get the HTC Music Widget and Lock screen back on the phone. This is what i have done thus far.
I pushed the HTC lock screen back to the phone. Now how do I reset the defaults on the old lock screen to get the HTC one working? I cant seem to find out how to get it to work. (I'm trying to use the lock screen that cam standard with the hero and sense)
Also I pushed back the HTCMusicWidget.apk back to system/app and I cant get the widget to come up. I've reloaded sense and rebooted but still cant get it to show up... I like the music widget that comes with sense and want to use that one.

[Q] Sense getting crashed while long press on home screen to add widgets

Hello..I am facing issues on [ROM][2311] XL 4.0 v4.0 [Sense 4.0 |MultiLanguage|EQS|3D Rosie|Volmekey2wakeup]
Sense is getting crashed while long press on Home screen to add widgets!! is there any fix for this issue???
I believe you are talking about fshami's ROM. I installed that too and yes sense keepa crashing every time long press on any of screens to add widget or apps. You'll have to reboot yoyr phone in order to get this working at times.
Probably its a bug and only developer can fix it in new release. Try leaving a comment on ROMs forum and see if it gets noticed.

[GUIDE] Remove (Move/Hide Until Alternate Option) Blinkfeed

Hi all,
Due to someone asking about blinkfeed in a few posts i thought i would share this. . . i have seen a few people ask about removing it, adding a custom launcher to remove it etc etc.
To my beliefs you cant actually remove blinkfeed as of yet, however, you can 'Move it'
If you goto 'home' and pinch out, goto the screen selector, add widgets screen, etc etc
Hold on the Second or Third screem your then given an option to slide up with the screen held and make 'Home Screen', you can then add normal widgets, or even the old Sense 4 type clock, weather widgets. . . then you can if you like goto blinkfeed settings and de-select (Un Check) all the feeds to save battery etc etc,
then when you push the home button it will goto the newly selected screen and oyu will see sense 4 (Not true sense 4 but a look alike) rather than blinkfeed. . .
Sorry if this seems long winded but im not good with explaining when showing, i may make a youtube video at some point.
Hope this helps. . . .

appreciate it but I think most people asking might know this already, I'm more interested in whether running a custom Launcher stops it appearing as a home screen within that launcher or not? I would think that it would just stop Blinkfeed as that would be part of Sense's launcher but not sure.
it's not just about not seeing blinkfeed if i don't use it i don't want it taking resources on my phone

Understandable, but this may help people until a alternate option is available.

[Q] Long press on home screen no longer works. HTC ONE M8

As of this morning my HTC One M8 no longer recognizes long touch on HOME SCREEN only, so it's not an issue with hardware or my finger moving, since long press works fine in every other application.
It is a rooted htc one with Android Revolution modded rom and HTC Sense installed. I've seen that
"Go Launcher EX" should be installed but for the life of me I can not anywhere find the settings for it on my phone to make sure the Home Screen isn't locked.
Help?

[Q] Home swipe for Recent on AOSP/GPE/CM

Hi
I'm a proud user of TeamVenom rom based on Sense 7 from M9. It has incorporated my beloved function of swiping up from home to get recents menu, and unfortunately it has gotten so much into my muscle memory it'd be hard to learn any new tricks. I'd like to jump To GPE 5.1 since I like the vanilla Ui more, but any of the roms I found have the swipe function.
Is there any Xposed module/Kernel feature/mod to get that feature back on my M7 when on... Well anything BUT sense?
