I tried to install all kind of roms with (M110s Kitkat Patch) i.e
Slimkat(4.4.3)
Mackay ROM 4.9.3
C-RoM** -4.4.4- -v7.1...
[4.4.3]Paranoid Android for the Galaxy S
[ROM][4.4.3]Omni for the Galaxy S
[KK 4.4.2][ROM]Mackay OMNI ROM
ETC..
But all of them don't work properly. Some of them(Slimkat, BeanSTalk, Paranoid, C-Rom v4.4.4) don't show incoming call nortification. It only just show missed call after no answer.
Some of them(Nameless rom, Omni) don't detect internal memory.
But i assure you all of them does not have a single error during installation. Please help me!

I installed skr and ringtone app but does not work correctly...
The only M110S ROM that has little to no issues (at the moment) is Resurrection Remix.
M110S has locked bootloader, forget that phone for custom ROMs, only its factory image will work properly.

since I own a S3 Mini I am into this board and the great custom roms here .. :good:
but what I still don't get: how close are the custom roms to the stock rom.
for instance:
stock for S3 mini is 4.1.2 - kernel 3.0.x?
custom roms: 4.2.2, 4.3.1 and 4.4.2 - all (maclaw roms) use the same kernel 3.0.101
but 4.4 uses linux kernel 3.3 or 3.4?
so what does this difference in the kernel versions (3.0.101 to 3.3) mean? Isn't it like using windows 95 with a windows vista or windows 7 theme?
dont't get me wrong, I love the custom roms! Using the slimrom of maclaw and like it a lot. Just wanna get it right in my head :silly:

kernel version is same as linux version but according to maclaw there is not much change b/w 3.0.1 and 3.4.x

I dont really know what are the changes in the different kernels but think of them like software updates, there may be tweaks, fixes and new features
All we have is 3.0 is because there are only 3.0 kernel sources and STE died and are not releasing kernel sources anymore

I have already rooted my phone.
So are there any custom ROMs for my device?

the ROM is working on my device. Thank you for providing. One problem is that the language cannot switch by 100 % from Spanish to German.
But more important is that it installs GAPPS as well. Could you provide a ROM without GAPPS? That would be great!

For anyone who might stumble upon this thread. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Value Edition (GT-I8200N). I tried flashing the Nougat ROM downloaded from MEGA. It worked fine. However my main goal was to get at least Android 5 on this device. After flashing the ROM the Android version of the phone in the settings app was indeed Android 7. However when I tried to install any apk destined for Android 5 or above the installation failed. After checking the API level with the ADB tools the output was API level 17 or Android 4.2.2. In conclusion if you just want look and feel of Nougat version then it SHOULD be fine. However if you want to install apps for Android 5 or higher you are in a bad luck I'm afraid.

It should be portable but, afaik those apk´s need touchwiz framework to work properly, so my guess is it wont work on aosp roms like RR, however you can use it with 4.3 stock rom.
So I got hold off a Tab S2 T713 and yes it's rooted and has twrp installed... But tell me is the only custom rom the lightning one? I installed it and had difficulties with the WiFi, so I flashed the WiFi fix, still hit and miss...just wondering if there's any others? And yes I've searched.. And also are the T710 roms compatible, I know the answer is most likely no but I have to ask.
