For many apps , push notifications has played a critical role to success . Push notification is a feature which is used by the apps to alert smartphone owners about the content updates , messages and other events regarding the app . The right and appropriate push messages can engage your users and skyrocket your active users graph .
Imagine you have developed an app which is a catalogue of recipes . You have added a new recipe to your app but how will the user know about the new content which is added ? In traditional way the user has to open the app and check for new content regularly . But with the push notifications , you can let your users know about the new content as a new notification in their notification bar . Pretty simple and effective , isn't it ? Yes but it is hard to implement the push notification technology since it requires management of hundreds of thousands or even millions of devices . MobioPush is a service which enables the app developers to make use of push notification feature of android smartphones to improve the user experience and thus to drive in more daily active users .
This platform allows app developers to completely take advantage of the push technology without going through the complexities of managing a secure backend . It stores your users details on its servers and allows you to send highly targeted push notifications to these users through a simple dashboard system . Developers can easily create targeted push notifications through the online notification composer . The service currently supports location targeting as well as language targeting .
Mohammed , the co-founder of Mobio Global says that the mobiopush services will be soon extended to more more operating systems and the plugins for game engines will be released within a short time period .
" BackEnd as a service providers are in dozens but MobioPush is more likely to help the small & medium app developers to generate more revenue from their apps through active user engagement " Says Navaneeth
MobioPush is presently available for the developers through the website https://mobiopush.com .

[Q] New Folder?

Hi,
Is it possible to make a "New Folder" in WP7? Just for example: to put all games in a one folder?
Not at the moment.
App Folders to WP7? Not any time soon.

"We've been tipped off about an interesting bit of polling going on at the monsmartphone.net (they're a lot like us, but French!) regarding something that all Windows users are all too familiar with. Folders!
The question raised, "Would you like to be able to categorize your applications?", has caught some attention from their more organized readers. Users who've downloaded a lot of Apps were quick to remark that they don't like having to scroll so much to find the ones at the bottom of the pile.
Pinning the most frequently used apps to the Start Menu solves the problem easily but not at all if you're the kind of person to keep a lot of frequent contacts up there. Even more so if you're the type to collect applications - the Markteplace reached 7,000 apps not too long ago and like we said, there's no end in sight. The reasoning is there for some users, certainly. Other users, like myself, don't see the need. Not yet anyway.
Monsmartphone.net's writer, Detsch, had apparently submitted this quandary to Microsoft and from what we've gathered from throwing their site through the make-it-english machine (No, not just google translate! I made a real-live French person read it to me in English!) was that Microsoft does not currently think that this functionality is a priority in the evolution of their OS.
Read more after the break.
Whether or not there was actual scientific research done to back it up or if any charts were involved is unclear but they claim that they average number of apps used by the average user just doesn't require such a poll-worthy, why-don't-we-have-this, functionality. Interesting tidbits from the commentors brought up the option of it. Reminds us a little of Microsoft's position on screen captures.
If folders were eventually included in an update they would prefer it as an option - not a mandate that they had to follow through with. Some presumptions also include folder use for contacts following the lines of Work contacts, Pals, Bowling Team, and things like that. This followed suit with sms and the Games Hub as well with sorted genres.
The most interesting concept of note was not if people would like folders or not but the ability to categorize their apps. Meaning, apps could be categorized and sorted but not necessarily by using folders.
What if they were sorted into specific hubs that opened an additional app listing? That piqued my interest and got me thinking of a better question. If we had the ability to sort or categorize or filter our apps - how would you like it done and how would it work with the Metro UI?"

Hi,
I would like to recommend a twitter client for Windows phone 7’s user. It is called ‘TwittWp’. It is fit to advanced twitter users.
It also provides many cool features:
- Classic browse Mode: Browse the content of the tweets that includes Clickable @names, URLs, and #Hashtags
- Fast browse Mode: Quickly glance at your tweets in plain text
- Dialog browse Mode: Display the dialogs of the people you followed
- Retweet by SMS, Email
- Lists management: Allow users to choose which lists will be invisible/visible.
- The user interface of the lists and search sections are shown by ‘Metro’ mode. It allows users to swipe left or right to see different lists or searching results within one app.
- Nearby: Display the content of the tweet and location of the friends you followed on the map
- In the details of the timelines, provide the main drive route navigation that helps you to find the location of your friends easily
- Multi-account support
- Text expression: Allow users to select various expression when editing your tweets
Click Here to watch the Youtube video of the TwittWp.
Click Here to download the free trial version.
R u the dev? If so please state that in OP.
Sent from my HD7 using Board Express
Please state whether you are the dev or not.
Since the marketplace states fastcode (fscode) as the developer, the users name here at least implies that he is the developer.
Yes, I am the developer. I have confidence in my app. I just want that more people can know my app. Could you make the comment for the quality of my app?
Please upload it on xda.
tnx bro
Please check out this sections template for app releases then. You should be good by then.
fscode
I see your full app is a paid one.
Can you please clarify what restrictions are placed on your free trial?
You will be aware of our rules in that you must offer a free version and support your app if you wish to place it here on XDA, either that or it goes in the paid app marketplace. It is against XDA rules to use tis as a base for advertising a paid product without providing the above.
Could you please clarify the above.

Script your phone! Write code for your phone, on your phone! TouchDevelop is a radically new software development environment on the Windows Phone, bringing the excitement of the first programmable personal computers to the phone.
the idea behind TouchDevelop
The way in which we interact with computing devices is changing: instead of keyboards, advanced touchscreens become more common; mobile devices are often equipped with more sensors, such as location information and acceleration, and are always connected to the cloud.
TouchDevelop is a new programming environment and language built around this new reality. Its typed, structured programming language is built around the idea of only using a touchscreen as the input device to author code. It has built-in primitives which make it easy to access the rich sensor data available on a mobile device. In our vision, the state of the program is automatically distributed between mobile clients and the cloud, with automatic synchronization of data and execution between clients and cloud, liberating the programmer from worrying (or even having to know) about the details.

I used this app , but founded not interesting...
Well I tried it.. you can do a a couple of stuff, but I don't think it is actually useful for developing qualitative Apps.
In my mind this Application is more useful for schools, where teachers want to show their students how easy it is to develop stuff, or "the new generation of Coding Editors"..
I mean sure, you can create some interesting apps and, if you put effort in it, might even useful Apps(!) but for me it looks like something you can play with when you are bored..
But it might be interesting for those who are new to WP7-programming or are new to programming at all..
But nice app anyway!
interesting apps...
but, i dont have any windows phone on me...

[iOS 8.0+] My App Statistics

You’re an app developer? You use an iOS device like an iPhone as your daily driver and want to have access to your Android App sales data from your Google Wallet Account? Then My App Statistics is just right for you.

Being a developer myself I was in the need of having access to my Android App / Google Wallet sales data from my iPhone but don’t wanted to rely on the web browser. I wanted an app for my iPhone that enables me to get current sales statistics and a charting of my daily/monthly/yearly Android App sales data. In addition I don’t wanted to use one of the external statistics apps like AppAnnie, AppFigures or the like because I don’t wanted an external party to have access to my accounts. My App Statistics is what came out from this need.
My App Statistics is compatible with iPhones with iOS version 8 or higher.
Grab it from the App Store
Homepage: https://www.silentservices.de/products/ios-my-app-statistics/
Usage:
– After installation you need to go into the in-app settings tab and press the “Show Google Auth View” button. A window will open where you must log in to your Google Account. If you use 2-factor authentication (which I strongly recommend btw) you will need to log in and then enter your second factor code. Make sure to check the persistance checkbox so that you don’t have to enter the code a second time. If all done press the “Dismiss Google Auth View” button.
– After you have successfully logged in to your Google account go back to the “Orderlist” tab and pull down the view. The app will no connect to your wallet page and download your sales data. Depending on the amount of data this can take some time for the first download. All other downloads will go pretty fast.
– Once the download is finished the “Orderlist” will contain all sales data for the current month.
– Change to the “Order Stats” tab and choose a time frame to see you sales as chart.
If you have any questions or comments on the app just write me an email. I usually respond the same business day.

Found a way to actually open up some of the Evenwell apps using secret codes

I've spent a great deal of time trying to assess what these Evenwell apps do and have managed to open up a few using secret codes taken from the apps manifest.
1) Use this code on your phone dialler - *#"#3277#*#* it's for Stability Monitor app. This app from the looks of it is designed to send Nokia/Evenwell log reports from ANR crashes, boot reports amongst other things. By opening up the Stability Monitor app, you can actually choose to send yourself all the reports instead of them being uploaded to a server by periodically having zip files saved on your SD card! Very useful indeed.
2) *#*#666#*#* - EMM app. Yes one of the most hated of Evenwell apps that stays running constantly unless you're prepared to use ADB commands. You can manually set up CPU, GPU and DRAM Governors as if you have a rooted phone! You can either switch them off entirely or have them in use at your options. The option2s are switch off, default, screen or heavy app. There are even options for when force stop apps occur and something called dropcache.
You can also see all current app processes and even what EMM considers to be whitelisted apps. Surprisingly it doesn't consider Google Play Services to be whitelisted which answers my own question about why I would get popups to say the app stopped. There is even a way to manually add an app to the whitelist but I have not been successful with this yet as I am not as technically gifted as most people in here.
I will see about uploading some images to the net so I can post here of actual screenshots as I have not made 10 posts yet here so I cannot upload direct from my phone.
There are a few others I've discovered I can open and will update here as soon as I work out what each app does and what you can do on them when you open them up.
I would appreciate some technical assistance with regards to the EMM app as so far by making my own amendments, all I've done is heat my phone up so high I struggle to pick it up! If anyone can test out the CPU, GPU & DRAM Governor options to see which are the best, please update here.
*EDIT* Here's a link to the album I created here to post screenshots -
