AVRCP (Bluetooth Profile) 1.3+ in AOSP KK Roms - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I can't seem to find the answer on a recent thread, or in this device about AVRCP implementation in AOSP custom roms. I'm currently running ARDH, and that has it, but is Sense based, but I'd love to go back to PA or something of the sort, but I want working bluetooth metadata working in my car and deck, which is only present in avrcp 1.3 and up.
Just wondering if anybody would know if the new roms have it working.
Cheers,
jeb

any1 knows if ANY build of ANY android version has mp3 music => bluetooth working ?
Hi all, ive tried 3 android 1.x and 6 froyo releases, no one has mp3 going through bluetooth to my headset...
anybody knows if ANY build of ANY android version has mp3 music => bluetooth working ?
(and 1000 thanks n hurrahs to the rom chefs ! )
long live the vogue !
Myn's donught does. Tried with S9 headset and working.
No Froyo or eclair working on this so far :|
I believe Myn's Donut was the newest build to have A2DP working, but many of the old 1.5 builds had it too, it just depended on the basefiles you had installed.
I'd go with Myn's build if you need it. The only 1.5, 1.6 builds that didn't have it were the SenseUI builds (Hero, Tattoo).
thank you all, ill go try thoses !
A2DP and camera
Does anyone know if there are any Android builds with both A2DP and camera (at 2 mega pixel) working? I heard that there were some complains about the camera resolution on some earlier builds.

[Q] Looking for a media playing ROM for the Galaxy Ace

Hello! I am not new to the concept of modifying my Galaxy Ace. However, I switched to an HTC 8x. Because xbox music is such a pain to deal with and because Android is still my favorite, I've decided to keep my Ace, even though I won't be using it for anything but browsing and music. I'm looking for a stable ROM that plays media smoothly. I'm not looking for ICS, I really don't care what it looks like. Honestly, it doesn't even need to come with google apps installed. I am running Linux, so I cannot use Odin well enough to actually accomplish anything. Can anyone point me in the direction of a ROM that will work for this? If there is none, are there any programs for creating custom ROMs on Linux?
Stock roms or Custom Stock roms (Stocklite, Mcrage {audio enchancement already has incluided}, StockEvolution...) with audio enchancements (Beats Audio, Megabass and Beats...)
You can see the link below in my sign "Ace's Audio Battle" or use the search

[Q] Bluetooth AVRCP Control Buttons Not Working in LG Stock ROM

Does anyone know a solution for remapping or reutilizing the Bluetooth AVRCP control buttons for a set of bluetooth headphones (LG Tone HBS-700 specifically) on the LG stock ROM? All I want is for the play/pause, forward/previous track buttons to work on my headphones with the SiriusXM app. I came from CM11 and it worked perfectly there. When SiriusXM was playing, the buttons would affect it, and so forth with other music player apps when they had control. Now that I'm back on trying stock ROM, it of course doesn't work because LG's ROM is a piece of junk. Any recommendations?
App in play store called media button router allows you to designate a specific app to be controlled by bt devices.... it's free, maybe that'll do the trick for you

I didn't know about that app! I downloaded and installed it, and unfortunately, it isn't recognizing SiriusXM as one of the music players on my phone. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Maybe email the dev and ask if he'll add it to the app list... couldn't hurt to try.

Not a bad idea. I'll try it!
Sorry to resurrect a zombie thread, but has anyone found a KK ROM with functional AVRCP play / pause support? Media Button Router is a viable alternative for me on 4.3, but does not work on 4.4. Development of the app had basically stopped from what I see... Thanks for any suggestions.

The only ones I ever found to work are AOSP-based, namely Cyanogenmod, but I'm sure any AOSP-based KK ROM would have fully functional AVRCP support for whatever application you're using, provided the application utilizes the system's audio player.

Has anyone found the trick to screencast to chromecast in CM based Roms?

Hi, i have been reading but could not find an explanation nor a fix for this.
Since CM based 12.1 roms, screen casting to my chromecast suddenly stoped working, now i own a Nvidia Shield TV and i have The same issue. I have upgrated to recent oficial CM 13 to test but The problem still persist. I have tried from The official ChromeCast/Home app an also from The Send Screen tile In notification bar.
With other stock non rooted phones i tested worked just fine as it should. I rather use a custom rom than stock debloated firmware.
If anyone has it working with a CHROMECAST device/receiver please share your setup: ROM/gapps/root method if any.
NOTE: I dont want to use other cast devices or my TV's native wireless screen mirror feature, so please stay on topic and reply only if you have a Chromecast or Android TV device. Thanks!
